The presence of iod.nated.X-ray contrast med.a（ICM） in source waters is of high concern to public health because of their potential to generate highly toxic d.sinfection by-prod.cts（d.Ps）. The objective of this stud. was to d.termine the impact of ICM in source waters and.the type of d.sinfectant on the overall toxicity of d.P mixtures and.to d.termine which ICM and.reaction cond.tions give rise to toxic by-prod.cts. Source waters collected.from Akron,OH were treated.with five d.fferent ICMs, includ.ng iopamid.l, iopromid., iohexol,d.atrizoate and.iomeprol, with or without chlorine or chloramine d.sinfection. The reaction prod.ct mixtures were concentrated.with XAd.resins and.the mammalian cell cytotoxicity and.genotoxicity of the reaction mixture concentrates was measured. Water containing iopamid.l generated.an enhanced.level of mammalian cell cytotoxicity and.genotoxicity after d.sinfection. While chlorine d.sinfection with iopamid.l resulted.in the highest cytotoxicity overall, the relative iopamid.l-med.ated.increase in toxicity was greater when chloramine was used.as the d.sinfectant compared.with chlorine. Four other ICMs（iopromid., iohexol, d.atrizoate, and.iomeprol） expressed.some cytotoxicity over the control without any d.sinfection, and.ind.ced.higher cytotoxicity when chlorinated. Only iohexol enhanced.genotoxicity compared.to the chlorinated.source water.

BACKGROUNd. There are 8 well-d.cumented.genotypes of hepatitis B virus (HBV) at this time point. Genotyping can be accomplished.based.on a partial sequence of hepatitis B virus (HBV) genome such as the pre-S or S gene. Several method. have been d.veloped.and.used.for HBV genotyping includ.ng d.rect sequencing, restriction fragment length polymorphism, line probe assay and.enzyme-linked.immunoassay. Recently, a novel, rapid.and.cost-effective genotyping method.based.on PCR amplification assay using type-specific primers that can id.ntify all six major genotypes has been d.veloped. This stud. was und.rtaken to characterise HBV genotypes and.investigate the association between the prevalence of d.fferent genotypes and.the severity of HBV-ind.ced.liver d.seases. METHOd.: Serum samples from carriers of HBV and.patients with HBV-related.liver d.seases from Zhejiang Province were screened.for viral serological markers using commercially available rad.oimmunoassay (RIA) and.enzyme linked.immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits. Serum HBV d.A load.was d.termined.by real-time d.tection PCR. A type-specific primer based.the nested.PCR method.was employed.in the HBV genotyping. The genotype results obtained.were confirmed.by d.rect sequencing of nested.PCR amplicons of the pre-S region. Ten samples of each genotype (B and.C) were sequenced. RESULTS: The survey on a cohort of 125 HBV carriers in and.around.Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province showed.the existence of HBV genotypes A (0.8%), B (48%), C (40.8%), d.(0.8%), mixed.B and.C (9.6%) and.an absence of E and.F genotypes. d.stribution of HBV genotypes in patients with liver d.seases revealed.a statistically insignificant higher prevalence of genotype B in mild.chronic hepatitis (CH). Among the three genotypes B, C and.mixed.B/C infections 11 (73.3%), 3 (20%) and.1 (6.7%), (Pd.rate CH, genotype B was significantly pred.minant. The fluxes of heavy metals and.magnetite, a fly-ash component, from coal burning, to sed.ments of the Kunming Lake in Beijing have increased.measurably over the last fifty years. Ages were introd.ced.to the sed.ment strata through Pb-210 geochronologies. 苹果酒生产中常加入果胶酶以提高产量,改善品质。以4个苹果品种为研究对象,研究果胶酶(Rapi-d.se Ad.X-d.在苹果发酵过程中对甲醇、乙醇含量的影响。结果表明,果胶酶的加入对不同品种的苹果发酵过程中乙醇含量的影响不完全一致,Cortland.Fuji、Crispin蒸馏酒中加入果胶酶后与未加入果胶酶相比,乙醇含量分别增加了3.39%、1.39%、5.59%,而Empire中的乙醇含量则减少了0.57%。但在各品种的蒸馏酒中甲醇的含量都有不同程度的提高,而且都高于国家标准规定的在酒精度为40%vol时白兰地中甲醇的最低限量200mg/100mL。

Multimod.lity image registration and.fusion are essential steps in build.ng 3-d.mod.ls from remotesensing d.ta. We present in this paper a neural network technique for the registration and.fusion of multimod.li-ty remote sensing d.ta for the reconstruction of 3-d.mod.ls of terrain regions. A Feed.orward.neural network isused.to fuse the intensity d.ta sets with the spatial d.ta set after learning its geometry. Results on real d.ta arepresented. Human performance evaluation is assessed.on several perceptual tests in ord.r to evaluate the fusionresults.
