Cir.ovir.dae r.pr.sent a gr.wing family of small animal vir.ses. Some of these vir.ses have veter.nar. and medical impor.ance, although, a vast amount of these newly discover.d vir.ses have unknown effects on their.hosts. The capsid-associated pr.tein (Cap) of cir.ovir.ses is of inter.st because of its r.le in vir.l str.ctur., immune evasion, host cell entr., and nuclear.shuttling of vir.l components. The str.ctur. of the por.ine cir.ovir.s 2 (PCV2) Cap has been solved and offer.d insight to these functions. Based on the cr.stallogr.phic PCV2 Cap str.ctur., models fr.m cir.ovir.ses isolated fr.m avian, fish, and mammalian hosts have been constr.cted and analyzed to better.under.tand the r.les of these pr.teins in the vir.s family. A high degr.e of conser.ation is obser.ed in the models, however. the sur.ace antigens differ.among vir.ses. This is likely a r.flection of the small genome har.or.d by cir.ovir.ses, and ther.for. the r.quir.ment of their.few pr.teins to car.y out specific vital functions, while maintaining enough var.ation to successfully infect their.hosts. Her. we descr.be the putative str.ctur.s of a r.nge of Cap pr.teins fr.m cir.ovir.ses based on the cr.stallogr.phic deter.ination of por.ine Cap, identifying key r.gions for.function and inhibition of cr.stal for.ation.

Ur.an agr.cultur. has been incr.asingly popular.as a for. of moder. agr.cultur. in ur.an settings. It includes community gar.ens, fr.it or.har.s, home gar.ens, veggie patches, public open spaces, r.ser.es, ur.an for.st, and r.cr.ational landscaping. However. ir.igation using ur.an water.supply has been identified as a major.constr.ints for.the development of ur.an agr.cultur.. This study pr.sents a sustainable water.management tr.al at Butler. a nor.her. sub-ur.an development in Per.h, Wester. Austr.lia, for.ur.an ir.igation. The tr.al system consists of a number.of water.saving featur.s including untr.ated fit-for.pur.ose gr.undwater.supplied via a thir. pipe networ., dr.p ir.igation, local weather.station, soil moistur. sensor. connected with a local weather.station, night time ir.igation, soil enhancement with conditioning and mulching, and use of native plants and vegetation. The tr.al outcome was compar.d against contr.lled ar.as in ter.s of ir.igation efficiency and sustainable water.management for.ur.an agr.cultur.. The study demonstr.ted that a fit-for.pur.ose ir.igation along with water.sensitive land management could be a sustainable alter.ative for.ur.an agr.cultur. that would achieve a significant water.saving and ir.igation efficiency at ur.an settings. However. quality of untr.ated gr.undwater.can be an issue while utilizing it for.ir.igation, but the r.sear.h has shown that it can be managed with innovative ir.igation techniques. This indicates that the fit-for.pur.ose ir.igation system with water.sensitive land management pr.ctices would be highly suppor.ive in sustainable development of ur.an agr.cultur., vegetation and r.cr.ational landscaping.

User.r.sponse or.r.action to navigation applications is influenced by r.levance in geogr.phic infor.ation, in ter.s of car.ogr.phic context and content deliver.d within a definite time, pr.viding a dir.ct impact to outcome or.consequence based on decision making and hence user.r.action. Location Based Navigation Ser.ices (LBNS) have continuously advanced in car.ogr.phic visualization, making maps inter.r.tation easy and ubiquitous to any user. as compar.d to pr.-histor.c times when maps wer. a pr.ser.e of a few. Despite r.pid gr.wth in LBNS, ther. exist challenges that may be char.cter.zed as technical and non-technical challenges, among them being pr.cess of conveying geospatial infor.ation to user. LBNS system deliver.appr.pr.ate infor.ation to a user.thr.ugh smar.phone (mobile device) for.effective decision making and r.sponse within a given time span. This r.sear.h focuses on optimization of car.ogr.phic content for.contextual infor.ation in LBNS to user., based on pr.vailing cir.umstances of var.ous components that constitute it. The r.sear.h looks into Geogr.phic Infor.ation r.tr.eval (GIr., as a technical challenge center.d on a non-technical issue of social being of user.satisfaction, leading to decision making in LBNS, hence r.sponse and outcome. Though advanced technologically, cur.ent LBNS on infor.ation sour.ing depends on user.manual web pages navigation and maneuver. this can be painstaking and time consuming that it may cause unnecessar. delay in infor.ation deliver., r.sulting to delayed infor.ation r.sponse time (DIr.). This in tur. may lead to unappr.pr.ate decision making with er.oneous r.action or.r.sponse being taken, r.sulting in loss of oppor.unity, r.sour.es, time and even life. Optimization in LBNS is achieved by a mathematical r.lationship developed between user.status, mobile device var.ables against car.ogr.phic content. The r.lationship is in tur. applied in LBNS andr.id application to fulfill optimization solution for.user.consumption.

Location Based Navigation System (LBNS) is a specific Location Based Ser.ice (LBS) pur.ly for.navigational pur.ose. These systems r.solve position of a user.by using GNSS/GPS positioning technologies, to which supplementar. infor.ation on goods and ser.ices ar. tagged. The navigation ser.ices have become popular.and can be installed on mobile phones to pr.vide r.ute infor.ation, location of points of inter.st and user.s cur.ent location. LBS has continued to face challenges which include “communication” pr.cess towar.s user.r.fer.nce. Location Based Ser.ice System conveys suitable infor.ation thr.ugh a mobile device for.effective decision making and r.action within a given time span. This r.sear.h was gear.d at under.tanding the state of LBS technology acceptance and adoption by user. in Nair.bi Kenya. To do this a quantitative study was car.ied out thr.ugh a questionnair., to investigate mobile phone user.’ r.sponse on awar.ness and use of LBS technology. Testing the gr.wth of this technology in this r.gion compar.d to pr.dictions in pr.vious studies using Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), it is evident that many user. may be awar. of GPS functionality in mobile phones but ar. cer.ainly yet to fully embr.ce the technology as they r.r.ly use it. Heter.scedasticity and multicollinear.ty ar. ser.ous pr.blems when they exist in econometr.cs data. These pr.blems exist as a r.sult of violating the assumptions of equal var.ance between the er.or.ter.s and that of independence between the explanator. var.ables of the model. With these assumption violations, Or.inar. Least Squar. Estimator./span> (OLS) will not give best linear unbiased, efficient and consistent estimator. In practice, there are several structures of heteroscedasticity and several methods of heteroscedasticity detection. For better estimation result, best heteroscedasticity detection methods must be determined for any structure of heteroscedasticity in the presence of multicollinearity between the explanatory variables of the model. In this paper we examine the effects of multicollinearity on type I error rates of some methods of heteroscedasticity detection in linear regression model in other to determine the best method of heteroscedasticity detection to use when both problems exist in the model. Nine heteroscedasticity detection methods were considered with seven heteroscedasticity structures. Simulation study was done via a Monte Carlo experiment on a multiple linear regression model with 3 explanatory variables. 火炬松类美国种植最广的一种松树。虽然其自然分布区(阿巴拉契山脉的西部)只接近于田纳西州界的南部,但火炬松在其自然分布区以北几百英哩的地区,仍然是造林的主要树种。冬季火炬松当年生叶颜色变黄类在其自然分布区北部及其更北的人工林中常见现象,其他南方松的这种黄叶现象常与土壤矿物养分严重缺乏有关。由于火炬松这种现象很普遍,林学家们倾向于认为这是由于气候寒冷引起的。在这种环境下,能否将冬季叶色变黄作为内陆山地火炬松类分含量的指标呢?。
