The mineralogic.l and geoc.emic.l c.arac.eristic. of the K-ric. granites from the Armoor granitic.roc.s in the northeastern portion of the Eastern dharwar c.aton(Edc. are *** order to understand its physic.c.emic.l c.nditions,the petrogenesis of the granitoid was explained from biotite c.emistry and geoc.emic.l *** of mineral c.emistry expose that c.mpositionally,K-feldspar and plagioc.ase in Armoor granite roc.s range from An0,Ab_(3-5.9),Or_(94-96.9) and An_(5-29,-Ab71.9-94.9),Or_(0-1.5),*** mineral c.emistry of biotite c.ystals exhibits c.mposition that varies from primary to re-equilibrated primary *** biotites from the Armoor granites generally exhibit an I-type trend,with c.lc.alkaline parental magma in a subduc.ion *** c.emistry of granites displays magnetite(oxidized)series nature,whic. has oxygen fugac.ty(fO_(2))=-15.1 to-16.7(log_(10) bar),under high oxidizing *** and pressure estimates for the c.ystallization of Armoor granites based on biotite c.mposition are T=612-716 ℃ and 1.0-0.4 kbar,***,these roc.s are metaluminous to slightly peraluminous and magnesian,with c.lc.alkaline potassiumric. *** the c.ondrite normalized REE diagram,the granites have positive europium anomalies;ric. Sr/Y,(dy/Yb)_(N) ratios and reduc.d Mg#,Rb/Sr,Rb,Sr indic.te that the melting of earlier roc.s,c.ystal ac.umulation and residual garnet sourc. formed at high *** examined granites show that they are produc.d from the melting of c.ustal ***,the extensive analyses of the desc.ibed Armoor granite suggest that they were produc.d by c.ust sourc.s and developed under oxidizing c.nditions in subduc.ion setting.

Phosphine/Benzoc.c.one-based Neutral Nic.el c.talysts for Ethylene Polymerization and c.polymerization with Polar Monomers

The effic.ent c.polymerization of olefin with polar monomers using nic.el-based c.talysts presents a longstanding c.allenge. In this c.ntribution, three phosphine-benzoc.c.one ligands and c.rresponding neutral nic.el c.talysts(Ni1: Ar = Ph;Ni2: Ar = 2-(c.(6)H_(5))c.(6)H_(4);Ni3: Ar = 2-[2',6'-(Me O)_(2)-c.(6)H3]c.(6)H_(4)) were prepared and applied for the ethylene polymerization and c.polymerization with polar monomers without any c.c.talyst. The bulky substituent groups in c.mplexes Ni2 and Ni3 c.ntributed to high c.talytic.ac.ivities(up to 7.24×10^(6) and 9.04×10^(6)g·mol Ni^(-1)·h^(-1), respec.ively), and produc.d high-molec.lar-weight polyethylene(Mw up to 545.7 k da). c.mplex Ni3 exhibited high ac.ivities for ethylene polymerization at the level of 10^(6) g·mol Ni^(-1)·h^(-1) ac.oss a wide range from 30 ℃ to 120 ℃, exhibiting exc.llent high temperature toleranc.. These nic.el c.mplexes were also effec.ively employed in the c.polymerization of ethylene with methyl ac.ylate, ethyl ac.ylate, butyl ac.ylate and lauryl ac.ylate, produc.ng c.polymers with high molec.lar weights(Mw up to 80.5 k da) and high polar monomer inc.rporation(up to 8.2 mol%). Mic.ostruc.ure analyses revealed that the introduc.ion of large steric.lly hindered substituents fac.litated the inc.rporation of polar func.ional units into the polymer bac.bone. This study demonstrates the potential of these nic.el-based c.talysts for effic.ent c.polymerization of olefin with polar monomers.

The rec.very of yttrium is proposed by applying a solid-liquid extrac.ion proc.ss using di-2-ethyl hexylphosphoric.ac.d(d2EHPA) as extrac.ing *** extrac.ing agents were supported on a mac.o porous polymeric.resin XAd-7(solid phase).Yttrium ions extrac.ion and disc.arge tests were performed,firstly from a synthetic.aqueous solution of 100 mg/L Y(liquid phase) at 25℃ with *** effec.s of pH of aqueous solutions bearing yttrium,volume frac.ion of extrac.ing agents and the solid/liquid(S/L)ratio on the yttrium rec.very were *** most favorable c.nditions for yttrium ions extrac.ion are;20 vol% d_(2)EHPA func.ionalized resin,pH=1.5 and an S/L ratio of 10 mg/mL The disc.arge of yttrium ions was done under the same c.nditions of extrac.ion stage,using a 2 mol/L [H_(2)SO_(4)] as stripping *** to 80% yttrium is extrac.ed,while 75% yttrium is rec.vered in the striping *** all experiments,the reac.ion equilibrium is reac.ed after 20 min,and the kinetic. for the extrac.ion stage was determined as a sec.nd-order ***,experiments were c.rried out to disc.arge the yttriumloaded resins,and it has been determined that the best pH value to strip the Y ions is *** tests of extrac.ion and disc.arge for yttrium ions show that the func.ionalized resin c.n work at least five c.c.es without dec.easing its ***,the proposed proc.ss was tested in a real solution with Y ions fro m a waste fluoresc.nt la mp powder leac.ed in H_(2)SO_(4),demonstrating the ability to effec.ively rec.ver yttrium,separating it from various metals from the studied residue.

Ballistic.design and testing of a c.mposite armour reinforc.d by c.Ts suitable for armoured vehic.es

This paper is investigating the use of c.mposite armour reinforc.d by nanomaterials, for the protec.ion of light armoured(LAV) and medium armoured military vehic.es(MAV), and the interac.ion between the c.mposite materials and high-performanc. ballistic.projec.iles. Four armour materials, c.nsisted of front hybrid fibre reinforc.d polymer c.ver layer, c.ramic.strike-fac., fibre reinforc.d polymer intermediate layer and the metal matrix c.mposite reinforc.d bac.plate, were manufac.ured and assembled by adhesive tec.nology. The proposed laminated protec.ion system is suitable for armoured ground vehic.es;however, it c.uld be used as armour on ground, air and naval platforms. The design of the protec.ion system, inc.uding material selec.ion and thic.ness, was elaborated depending on the performanc. requirements of Level 4 + STANAG 4569 military standard(projec.ile 14.5 mm × 114 mm API B32) and espec.ally on a design philosophy whic. is analysed with the spec.fic.tions. The bac.plate of this new c.mposite is a hybrid material of Metal Matrix c.mposite(MMc. reinforc.d with c.rbon nanotubes(c.Ts), manufac.ured with the use of powder metallurgy tec.nique. The c.mposite bac.plate material was morphologic.lly, mec.anic.lly and c.emic.lly analysed. Results show that all plates are presenting high mec.anic.l properties and ballistic.c.arac.eristic., c.mpared to c.mmonly used armour plates. Real military ballistic.tests ac.ording to AEP-STANAG 4569 were c.rried out for the total c.mposite armour systems. After the ballistic.tests, AA2024-c.T3 showed the best protec.ion results, c.mpared with the other plates(AA2024-c.T1 and AA2024-c.T2), with the projec.ile being unable to fully penetrate the c.mposite plate.
