in this presentation,we are showing the application of methods for assessing the structural capacity of existing reinforced concrete bridges,constructed before the application of European *** safety check presented in the various guidelines includes a structural non-linear analysis,followed by checking especially the deformations and resistance of all *** most cases,the superstructure is not significantly involved in the seismic response of the structure,then continues with the controls of the substructure(piles and facades)and the foundations,as well as with the systems of the connections of the structure and those of the interconnection between the structural *** structural model reflects the real conditions of the structure,the structural model must contain all the relevant degrees of freedom,characterizing the dynamic response of the structure,the inertia characteristics *** stiffness of the structure,and the superstructure *** the case of non-linear analysis,the structural model must be able to follow the development of stresses and deformations of the structure beyond the elastic phase caused by the formation of an increasing number of plastic zones.

Albania is facing serious problems with the national food safety control system in terms of legislation, control and enforcement. The objective of this paper is to analyse consumer perceptions about safety of small ruminant meat in Tirana, in a context of weak enforcement of the food safety system. Applying two-step clustering analyses, consumers were classified in four socio-demographic clusters, and it was found that the cluster composed of female consumers with lower education and income levels, and the two clusters composed of male consumers perceive consumed meat as safe. Consumers in the cluster composed of females with university education and higher income are, on average, more concerned with current meat safety measures and tend to place more trust in the veterinarian stamp on meat carcasses rather than in local butchers.

We introduce a training protocol for developing machine learning force fields(MLFFs),capable of accurately determining energy barriers in catalytic reaction *** protocol is validated on the extensively explored hydrogenation of carbon dioxide to methanol over indium *** the help of active learning,the final force field obtains energy barriers within 0.05 eV of Density Functional *** to the computational speedup,not only do we reduce the cost of routine in-silico catalytic tasks,but also find an alternative path for the previously established rate-limiting step,with a 40%reduction in activation ***,we illustrate the importance of finite temperature effects and compute free energy *** transferability of the protocol is demonstrated on the experimentally relevant,yet unexplored,top-layer reduced indium oxide *** ability of MLFFs to enhance our understanding of extensively studied catalysts underscores the need for fast and accurate alternatives to direct ab-initio simulations.

The behavioral responses of virgin and mated female Anastrepha striata Schiner （Diptera： Tephritidae） to guava （Psidium guajava L.） or sweet orange （Citrus sinensis L.） were evaluated separately using multilure traps in two-choice tests in field cages. The results showed that flies were more attracted to guava and sweet orange volatiles than to control （unbaited trap）. The physiological state （virgin or mated） of females did not affect their attraction to the fruit volatiles. Combined analysis of gas chromatography coupled with electroantennography （GC-EAD） of volatile extracts of both fruits showed that 1 and 6 compounds from orange and guava, respectively elicited repeatable antennal responses from mated females. The EAD active compounds in guava volatile extracts were identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry （GC-MS） as ethyl butyrate, （Z）-3-hexenol, hexanol, ethyl hexanoate, hexyl acetate, and ethyl octanoate. Linalool was identified as the only antennal active compound in sweet orange extracts. in field cage tests, there were no significant differences between the number of mated flies captured by the traps baited with guava extracts and the number caught by traps baited with the 6-component blend that was formulated according to the relative proportions in the guava extracts. Similar results occurred when synthetic linalool was evaluated against orange extracts. From a practical point of view, the compounds identified in this study could be used for monitoring A. striata populations.

The Future of Science Centres

Single-atom heterogeneous catalysts based on distinct carbon nitride scaffolds

＜正＞There are more than 1500 science centres in the world, and the field is still growing. Science centres complement formal education systems and are components of life-long learning. From an exclusive hands-on approach in their exhibitions, science centres are broadening their approach to include use of different media. The field is focussing on a minds-on approach. The broadening of media includes historical artefacts, multimedia and models in the exhibition halls, as well as public programmes that include lectures, workshops, panel discussions and thematic events throughout the entire museum. Currently, the web is used for operational purposes, as a complement to the exhibitions and to web cast events that occur in the centre. There will be an increasing integration between the physical and the virtual world. The exhibitions of science centres may change over time, but for a long time to come the science museum will remain a meeting place and a place to visit. The science centre visit is a social event and it includes interaction with the real world, which cannot be achieved on the web.

Carbon nitrides integrating macroheterocycles offer unique potential as hosts for stabilizing metal atoms due to their rich electronic structure. To date, only graphitic heptazine-based polymers have been ***, we demonstrate that palladium atoms can be effectively isolated on other carbon nitride scaffolds including linear melem oligomers and poly(triazine/heptazine imides). increased metal uptake was linked to the larger cavity size and the presence of chloride ions in the polyimide structures. Changing the host structure leads to significant variation in the average oxidation state of the metal, which can be tuned by exchange of the ionic species as evidenced by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and supported by density functional theory. Evaluation in the semi-hydrogenation of 2-methyl-3-butyn-2-ol reveals an inverse correlation between the activity and the degree of oxidation of palladium, with oligomers exhibiting the highest activity. These findings provide new mechanistic insights into the influence of the carbon nitride structure on metal stabilization.

The study area?is located in the north Tehran, iran. Calculation of transverse topographic symmetry factor (T) is suitable for rapid assessment of active tectonics. Therefore, transverse topographic symmetry factors have?beencalculated for the Darakeh stream. The study area is located in the Tehran Piedmont and transverse topographic symmetry factor?is calculated for it. Based on values of this index, there is high relative tectonic activity level. This condition can be related to existence of a blind north-south striking fault which it may be buried by alluvium of the Darakeh stream. Dendritic drainage pattern of Darakeh stream and the fact that the western tributaries are longer than the eastern tributaries provide indirect evidence of ground tilting toward the east. Also, based on our results, most part of the study area have got high tectonic activity that it is compatible with its tectonic setting on the Tehran in north iran.
