Effect of grain recrystallization on stir zone and mechanical property behavior of TRIP 780 steel

Electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)and transmission electron microscopy were used to determine the presence of retained austenite and displacive-type phase transformation in the stir zone of friction stir welding(FSW).Severe plastic deformations occurred in the stir zone where there was an increase in the temperature attributed to the FSW process and subsequently a grain *** the recrystallization phenomena,the formation of grain evolution development in steels was resolved using *** addition,a tensile test was carried out in order to reveal the results of mechanical *** was found that the fracture zone occurred in the stir zone with an ultimate tensile strength of 587 MPa,a decrease of 267 MPa compared with that of the base *** this result,it is evident that the fracture exhibits numerous elongated dimples,distributed homogeneously,and certain locations contain cleavage fractures due to differences in the microstructure of the base *** profile tests of the welding regions were conducted,and the results showed that the stir zone was present with elevated hardness(near 350 HV).Characterization techniques revealed that the austenite-to-martensite transformation occurred in the stir zone,resulting in a loss of mechanical properties in the joint.

Background Nursery pigs undergo stressors in the post-weaning period that result in production and welfare *** challenges disproportionately impact the offspring of primiparous sows compared to those of mul-tiparous *** is known regarding potential interactions between parity and feed additives in the post-weaning period and their effects on nursery pig ***,the objective of this study was to investigate the effects of maternal parity on sow and offspring microbiomes and the influence of sow parity on pig fecal microbi-ome and performance in response to a prebiotic *** weaning,piglets were allotted into three treat-ment groups:a standard nursery diet including pharmacological doses of Zn and Cu(Con),a group fed a commercial prebiotic only(Preb)based on an Aspergillus oryzae fermentation extract,and a group fed the same prebiotic plus Zn and Cu(Preb+ZnCu).Results Although there were no differences in vaginal microbiome composition between primiparous and mul-tiparous sows,fecal microbiome composition was different(R^(2)=0.02,P=0.03).The fecal microbiomes of primiparous offspring displayed significantly higher bacterial diversity compared to multiparous offspring at d 0 and d 21 post-weaning(P<0.01),with differences in community composition observed at d 21(R^(2)=0.03,P=0.04).When analyzing the effects of maternal parity within each treatment,only the Preb diet triggered significant microbiome distinc-tions between primiparous and multiparous offspring(d 21:R^(2)=0.13,P=0.01;d 42:R^(2)=0.19,P=0.001).Composi-tional differences in pig fecal microbiomes between treatments were observed only at d 21(R^(2)=0.12,P=0.001).Pigs in the Con group gained significantly more weight throughout the nursery period when compared to those in the Preb+ZnCu *** Nursery pig gut microbiome composition was influenced by supplementation with an Aspergillus oryzae fermentation extract,with varying effects on performance

BACKGROUND Numerous studies have indicated that the temozolomide and capecitabine regimen(TEMCAP)exhibits a certain level of efficacy in treating advanced,welldifferentiated gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors(GEP-NET).However,published data from Peru are *** hypothesize that this regimen could be a viable therapeutic option for advanced GEP-NET in the Peruvian *** To evaluate overall survival(OS)in patients diagnosed with advanced GEP-NET treated with TEMCAP at the Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas(INEN)in Lima-Perú.METHODS A retrospective review was conducted to identify patients with GEP-NEN treated with the TEMCAP regimen between 2011 and 2021 at the INEN.A total of thirtyeight patients were included in the final analysis:Thirty-five received TEMCAP as a first-line treatment,and three as a second-line *** primary objective was to evaluate *** efficacy and safety of TEMCAP were assessed until the occurrence of unacceptable toxicity or disease *** outcomes were estimated using the Kaplan-Meier *** The median age of the patients was 52 years(range 24-77 years),and 53.3%were *** most common symptoms at diagnosis were abdominal pain in 31 patients(81.6%).Primary tumors included 12 in the rectum(31.6%),11 in the pancreas(28.9%),3 in the ileum(7.9%),2 in the mesentery(5.3%),2 in the small intestine(5.3%),1 in the appendix(2.6%),1 in the stomach(2.6%)and 6 cases of liver metastasis of unknown primary(15.8%).Five were neuroendocrine tumors(NET)G1(13.2%),33 were NET G2(86.8%),five had Ki67<3%(13.2%),and 33 had Ki67 between 3%and 20%(86.8%).TEMCAP was administered to 35(92.1%)patients as first-line *** at 12,36,and 60 months was estimated in 80%,66%,and 42%,respectively,with a median OS of 49 *** TEMCAP therapy is a viable first-line option regarding efficacy and tolerability in areas where standard therapy is inaccessible.

Antibacterial extract-coated catheters are promising alternatives to their conventional counterparts,but their hemocompatibility and thermal stability must be *** bacteria have developed resistance to conventional ***,the minimum inhibitory but non-hemolytic concentration(MIC-NH)and the thermal stability of Larrea tridentata(***)and Origanum vulgare(***)extract-coated catheters were ***,plasma pretreatment was performed to enhance the extract ***,the extract-coated catheters prevent Staphylococcus aureus colonization without causing hemolysis by using *** and *** extracts at MIC-NH(5000 and 2500μg ml~(-1),respectively).Moreover,it has been discovered that the extract coating and plasma treatment improved the thermal stability and the extract adhesion,***,this study provides evidence of alternative antibacterial but non-hemolytic extract-coated catheters.

This work deals with a three-dimensional system, which describes a food web model consisting of a prey, a specialist predator and a top predator which is generalist as it consumes the other two species. Using tools of dynamical systems we prove that the trajectories of system are bounded and that open subsets of parameters exist, such that the system in the first octant has at most two singularities. For an open subset of the parameters space, the system is shown to have an invariant compact set and this is a topologically transitive attractor set. Finally, we find another open set in the parameters space, such that the system has two limit cycles each contained in different invariant planes. The work is completed with a numeric simulation showing the attractor is a strange attractor.

Our application of bionic engineering is novel： we are interested in developing hybrid hardware-wetware systems for music. This paper introduces receptacles for culturing Physarum polycephalum-based memristors that are highly accessible to the creative practitioner. The myxomycete Physarum polycephalum is an amorphous unicellular organism that has been found to exhibit memristive properties. Such a discovery has potential to allow us to move towards engineering electrical systems that encompass Physarum polycephalum components. To realise this potential, it is necessary to address some of the constraints associated with harnessing living biological entities in systems for real-time application. Within the paper, we present 3D printed receptacles designed to standardise both the production of components and memristive observations. Subsequent testing showed a significant decrease in growth time, increased lifespan, and superior similarity in component-to-component responses. The results indicate that our receptacle design may provide means of implementing hybrid electrical systems for music technology.

It is well known that hierarchies of mathematical programming formulatlons with different numbers of variables and constraints have a considerable impact regarding the quality of solutions obtained once these formulations are fed to a commercial solver. In addition, even if dimensions are kept the same, changes in formulations may largely influence solvability and quality of results. This becomes evident especially if redundant constraints are used. We propose a related framework for information collection based on these constraints. We exemplify by means of a well-known combinatorial optimization problem from the knapsack problem family, i.e., the multidimensional multiple-choice knapsack problem （MMKP）. This incorporates a relationship of the MMKP to some generalized set partitioning problems. Moreover, we investigate an application in maritime shipping and logistics by means of the dynamic berth allocation problem （DBAP）, where optimal solutions are reached from the root node within the solver.
