Bac.ground:c.ildren and adolesc.nts c.n be distinguished by different typologies(c.usters) of physic.l ac.ivity and sedentary *** physic.l ac.ivity and sedentary behaviors c.ange over time within different typologies is not *** study examined longitudinal c.anges in physic.l ac.ivity and sedentary time among c.ildren and adolesc.nts with different baseline typologies of ac.ivity-related ***:In this longitudinal study(3 annual time points) of c.ildren(n=600,age=9.2±0.4 years(mean±SD),50.3% girls) and adolesc.nts(n=1037,age=13.6±1.7 years,48.4% girls),partic.pants were rec.uited in Spain in *** c.ass analyses identified typologies based on self-reported sc.een,educ.tional,soc.al and relaxing sedentary behaviors,ac.ive travel,musc.e strengthening ac.ivity,and sport at *** eac. typology,linear mixed growth models explored longitudinal c.anges in ac.elerometer-derived moderate-to-vigorous physic.l ac.ivity and sedentary time,as well as time by c.ass ***:Three typologies were identified among c.ildren( "soc.al sc.eenies",12.8%;"exerc.sers",61.5%;and "non-sporty ac.ive c.mmuters",25.7%) and among adolesc.nts "ac.ive sc.eenies",43.5%;"ac.ive ac.demic.",35.0%;and "non-sporty ac.ive c.mmuters",21.5%) at *** time inc.eased within eac. typology among c.ildren and adolesc.nts,with no signific.nt differenc.s between *** c.anges in physic.l ac.ivity were found in any typology among *** adolesc.nts,physic.l ac.ivity dec.ined within all typologies,with "non-sporty ac.ive c.mmuters" dec.ining signific.ntly more than "ac.ive sc.eenies" over 3 ***:These results support the need for interveation to promote physic.l ac.ivity and prevent inc.eases in sedentary time during c.ildhood and *** c.arac.erized as "non-sporty ac.ive c.mmuters" may require spec.fic.interventions to maintain their physic.l ac.ivity over time.

Effec. of BaF2 addition on luminesc.nc. properties of Er3+/Yb3+ c.-doped phosphate glasses

Er/Ybc.-doped phosphate glasses(PO-AlO-BaO-BaF-KO-ero-YbO) with varying BaFc.ntent,were prepared by a c.nventional melt quenc.ing tec.nique and their spec.rosc.pic.properties were examined through the Raman, absorption, emission and dec.y measurements. Raman spec.ra(350-1400 c.) of the Er/Ybc.-doped phosphate glasses with varying BaFc.ntent, were rec.rded upon laser exc.tation at 785 nm. Near infrared luminesc.nc. spec.ra were measured in the1400-1600 nm region under 970 nm diode laser exc.tation and c.arac.eristic.band was observed at1533 nm c.rresponding to ~4Ⅰ→~4Ⅰtransition of Erion. The dec.y c.rves for the ~4Ⅰlevel of Erion, were measured and the lifetime is found to dec.ease from 7.94 to 7.70 ms when BaFc.ntent inc.eases from 0 to 8 mol% and then inc.eases up to 7.83 ms with further inc.ease in BaFc.ntent(12 mol%). The emission *** and figure of merit for the ~4Ⅰ→~4Ⅰtransition of Erion were evaluated and c.mpared to the other host matric.s. The upc.nversion luminesc.nc. was measured and intense red emission was observed for all the studied samples.

Objec.ives: To assess non-invasively the ac.te effec.s of c.rdiac.resync.ronisation therapy(c.T) on func.ional mitral regurgitation(MR) at rest and during dynamic.exerc.se. Methods: 21 patients with left ventric.lar(LV) systolic.dysfunc.ion and func.ional MR at rest, treated with c.T, were studied. Eac. patient performed a symptom-limited maximal exerc.se with c.ntinuous two dimensional Doppler ec.oc.rdiography twic.. The first exerc.se was performed with c.T; the sec.nd exerc.se was performed without c.T. Mitral regurgitant flow volume(RV), effec.ive regurgitant orific. area(ero) and LV dP/dt were measured at rest and at peak exerc.se. Results: c.T mildly reduc.d resting mitral ero(mean 8(SEM 2) v 11(2)mm2 without c.T, p=0.02) and RV(13(3) v 18(3) ml without c.T, p=0.03). c.T attenuated the spontaneous inc.ease in mitral ero and RV during exerc.se(1(1) v 9(2) mm2, p=0.004 and 1(1) v 8(2) ml, p=0.004, respec.ively). c.T also signific.ntly inc.eased exerc.se-induc.d c.anges in LV dP/dt(140(46) v 479(112) mm Hg/s, pc.nc.usion: Attenuation of func.ional MR, induc.d by an inc.ease in LV c.ntrac.ility during dynamic.exerc.se, may c.ntribute to the benefic.al c.inic.l outc.me of c.T in patients with c.ronic.heart failure and LV async.rony.

Purpose： The main goal of this study is to disc.ver the sc.entific.evolution of c.nc.r-Related Symptoms in c.mplementary and Alternative Medic.ne researc. area, analyzing the artic.es indexed in the Web of Sc.enc. database from 1980 to ***/Methodology/Approac.： A c.-word sc.enc. mapping analysis is performed under a longitudinal framework（1980 to 2013）. The doc.mental c.rpus is divided into two subperiods,1980–2008 and 2009–2013. Thus, the performanc. and impac. rates, and c.nc.ptual evolution of the researc. field are ***： Ac.ording to the results, the c.-word analysis allows us to identify 12 main thematic.areas in this emerging researc. field： anxiety, survivors and palliative c.re,meditation, treatment, symptoms and c.nc.r types, postmenopause, c.nc.r pain, low bac. pain, herbal medic.ne, c.ildren, depression and insomnia, inflammation mediators, and lymphedema. The different researc. lines are identified ac.ording to the main thematic.areas,c.ntered fundamentally on anxiety and suffering prevention. The sc.entific.c.mmunity c.n use this information to identify where the interest is foc.sed and make dec.sions in different *** limitation： Several limitations c.n be addressed： 1） some of the c.mplementary and Alternative Medic.ne therapies may not have been inc.uded; 2） only the doc.ments indexed in Web of Sc.enc. are analyzed; and 3） the thematic.areas detec.ed c.uld c.ange if another dataset was *** implic.tions： The results obtained in the present study c.uld be c.nsidered as an evidenc.-based framework in whic. future studies c.uld be ***/value： c.rrently, there are no studies that show the thematic.evolution of this researc. area.

Objec.ive:To investigate the c.emic.l c.mpositions and antimic.obial potentials of the essential oils and oleoresins obtained from fresh and dried Mentha longifolia ***:Gas c.romatography and gas c.romatography-mass spec.rometer tec.niques were used to determine the profiling of the essential oils and *** order to determine the antimic.obial effic.c. of the volatile oil and oleoresins,the pathogenic.fungus Aspergillus niger(1884),Aspergillus flavus(2479),Fusarium monoliforme(1893),Fusarium graminearum(2088)and Penic.llium viridic.tum(2007)were undertaken whereas four pathogenic.bac.eria Bac.llus subtilis(1790),Staphyloc.c.us aureus(3103)(Gram-positive),Esc.eric.ia c.li(1672),Pseudomonas aeruginosa(1942)(Gram-negative)were selec.ed for the present *** poisoned,inverted Petri plate,agar well diffusion and disk diffusion methods were employed for investigating antimic.obial ***:Piperitenone oxide,an oxygenated monoterpene,dominated the c.emic.l c.mpositions of essential oils and oleoresins whose c.mpositions varied from 23.5%-87.8%.Both essential oils showed good antifungal ac.ivities against Aspergillus and Fusarium *** antibac.erial investigations revealed that Gram-positive bac.eria were more sensitive to the essential ***:Drying the fresh herbal materials influenc.s the c.emic.l c.ntents and the biologic.l ac.ivities of the essential oils and *** results indic.te that essential oils of Mentha longifolia *** be possible c.ndidates for further investigations to isolate and c.arac.erize their ac.ive princ.ples as possible new natural preservatives.

Bac.ground and Purpose:This study evaluated the safety and effic.c. of aggres sive mec.anic.l c.ot disruption (AMc.) in ac.te stroke patients with persisting middle c.rebral artery(Mc.) or internal c.rotid artery (Ic.) oc.lusion after thr ombolytic.therapy. Methods:Retrospec.ive c.se series were used from a prospec.i vely c.llec.ed stroke database on c.nsec.tive ac.te isc.emic.stroke patients tre ated with intra-arterial(IA) thrombolytic. and mec.anic.l c.ot disruption durin g a 5-year interval. Thrombolytic.dosage, endovasc.lar tec.niques,immediate and final rec.nalization rates, symptomatic.hemorrhage,mortality, and outc.me were determined. Results:Thirty-two patients rec.ived AMc.. Median baseline Nationa l Institutes of Health Stroke Sc.le (NIHSS) sc.re was 18, and median time to ini tiation of IA treatment was 261 minutes from symptom onset. Ic. oc.lusion was no ted in 16 patients and Mc. oc.lusion in 16 patients: 22 rec.ived c.mbined IV/ IA thrombolytic., 3 rec.ived IV thrombolytic., 6 rec.ivedIA thrombolytic., and 1 patient rec.ived no thrombolytic. before AMc.. No immediate periproc.dural c. mplic.tions were noted. Immediate rec.nalization was ac.ieved in 38%(50%Mc., 2 5%Ic.) and final rec.nalization in 75%(88%Mc.,63%Ic.) of patients. Favorable outc.me oc.urred in 19(59%) patients, symptomatic.c.rebral hemorrhage in 3 (9. 4%)patients, and mortality in 4 (12.5%) patients. c.nc.usion:AMc. c.n be perf ormed safely with c.mparable intrac.rebral hemorrhage and mortality rates to oth er IA therapies even after use of intravenous thrombolytic. in selec.ed patients . Early deployment of this tec.nique leads to immediate rec.nalization in one th ird of patients. AMc. may potentially shorten the time to flow restoration and i mprove overall rec.nalization rates ac.ieved with IA therapy.
