In this research work,sol-gel technique was employed to prepare the strontium based spinel ferrite nanoparticles(SrFe_(2)O_(4))with different ratios of terbium(Tb).Different characterization techniques were used to investigate the structural,morphological,dielectric and magnetic properties of the prepared samples.X-ray diffraction(XRD)result suggests that face-centered cube spinel nanocrystalline structure is *** size of the SrFe_(2)O_(4)decreases with rising of Tb *** morphology,shape and size of the SrFe_(2)O_(4)were examined by scanning electron microscopy(SEM)analysis and results reveal inhomogeneous distributions of the nanostructures with high *** electrical resistivity of the SrFe_(2)O_(4)increases with rising of Tb ratio,which is confirmed from the cyclic *** is observed that dielectric constant of all the samples decreases with the increasing frequency *** is determined that the dielectric constants of the spinel ferrites are frequency dependent and decrease with increasing the frequency of applied electric *** magnetic behavior of SrFe_(2)O_(4)with different ratios of Tb was studied and it is found that the saturation magnetization values of samples decrease with increase in the substitution of Tb^(3+)at octahedral sites for Fe^(3+).This decrease in the values of M_(s) is also attributed to spin at surface of nanoparticles.

Delayed Dynamics of SIR Model for COVID-19

This paper presents a new modified SIR model which incorporates appropriate delay parameters leading to a more precise prediction of COVID-19 real time data. The efficacy of the newly developed SIR model is proven by comparing its predictions to real data obtained from four counties namely Germany, Italy, Kuwait, and Oman. Two included delay periods for incubation and recovery within the SIR model produce a sensible and more accurate representation of the real time data. In the absence of the two-delay period () the dynamical behavior of the model will not correspond to today’s picture and lag the detection of the epidemic peak. Effect of Cellulose Enzymes on Some Properties of Fibre Clothes

This study examined the effects of the enzyme cellulose on a few single jersey and interlock 100% flax t-shirts, two different styles of knit children’s clothes that differ in both their chemical and mechanical characteristics. Clothing samples were dyed using reactive colours and then subjected to normal acid cellulose enzyme treatment procedures. We evaluated some physical and mechanical features before and after cellulose treatments, then compared these characteristics. Its cellulose enzymatic processing enhances some mechanical properties of fibre knitwear, such as pilling resistance and retention of water. Some characteristics of fibre-knitted clothing, such as fabric weight, fabric thickness, fabric burst resistance, and seam tensile strength of T-shirt side seams, are reduced by cellulose enzyme treatment at a manageable rate. Compared to single-jersey all-fiber children’s T-shirts, interlocking 100% flax children’s T-shirts have a better effect of the enzyme cellulose treatment on the majority of physical and mechanical attributes.

Band Gap Determination from Diffuse Reflectance Measurements of Irradiated Lead Borate Glass System Doped with TiO<sub>2</sub>by Using Diffuse Reflectance Technique

Ultraviolet-visible UV-Vis diffuse reflectance measurements of irradiated lithium tetra-borate glass have been acquired using. Evolution 600 Spectrophotometer equipped with praying Mantis Diffuse Reflectance Accessory DRA base upon the onset of the diffuse reflectance spectra of the powdered or bulk materials. Also the absorption edge and band gap energies of the prepared glass were determined. The optical energy gap is calculated and found to be (3.0 - 3.5) eV. Which is in close agreement to the one calculated for r = 1/2, i.e. the transition mechanism, is accordingly direct allowed transition. The density increases from 3.1 to 3.9 gm/cm3 for the undoped and doped glass.

Dosimeter Film Based on Ethyl Violet-Bromophenol Blue Dyed Poly(Vinyl Alcohol)

Dyed poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) films, prepared by a simple technique of casting aqueous solutions of PVA containing a mixture of Ethyl violet and bromophenol blue (EV-BPB) on a horizontal glass plate, are useful as routine high-dose dosimeter in the 1 - 30 kGy range. The color of films changes from violet to yellow when exposed to gamma radiation. The response of this dosimeter depends up on the concentration of chloral hydrate (CH) in the polymer material. The radiation chemical yield (G-value) of PVA dyed film was calculated and found to increase by increasing concentration of chloral hydrate. Post-irradiation storage on the response of the films are discussed. The overall combined uncertainty (at 2σ) associated with measurement of response (ΔA mm-1) at 600 nm for dose range 1 - 15 kGy is 5.6%.

Adaptive Backstepping Compensation of Drives with Sandwiched Deadzone Nonlinearity

In this paper, a nonlinear robust adaptive controller is proposed for gear transmission servo system (GTS) containing a sandwiched deadzone due to improper gear meshing. The controller is robust to dynamic uncertainties and can compensate the effect caused by the sandwiched nonlinearity which is separated from the control input through drive compliance. The proposed design methodology does not require an adaptive inverse deadzone function and does not require the knowledge of its parameter and only the knowledge of upper bounds is required.

Observer Based Control for a Class of Systems with Output Deadzone Nonlinearity

In this paper, a combination of model based adaptive design along with adaptive linear output feedback controller is used to compensate for robotic manipulator with output deadzone nonlinearity. The deadzone dynamics are utilized to adaptively estimate the deadzone parameter and a switching function is designed to eliminate the error produced in the adaptive observer dynamics. The overall design of the closed loop system ensures stability in the BIBO criterion.
