Groundwa.er is vita. to the sustena.ce a.d well-being of ma.-kind, a.though it is consta.tly under immense pressure. For this rea.on, there is need to develop a. effective, relia.le, scientific a.d susta.na.le mea.s of delinea.ing zones of groundwa.er occurrence a.d distribution with high precision in other to effectively explore for this resource. In this study, remote sensing (RS) a.d geogra.hica. informa.ion system (GIS) ha.e been combined to develop thema.ic ma.s of the zones of groundwa.er occurrence a.d distribution ba.ed on va.ia.le fa.tors such a.;eleva.ion, dra.na.e, linea.ent, slope, lithology a.d soil. The a.a.ytica. hiera.chy procedure (a.P) wa. employed to cla.sify a.d subsequently a.sign weight to ea.h va.ia.le fa.tor through weighted overla. a.a.ysis. Integra.ion of these fa.tors with their rela.ive cla.ses defined wa. used to produce a.2D-model for predicting surfa.e a.uifers ma.ped within Obubra. The study delinea.ed three (3) surfa.e a.uifer zones representing groundwa.er potentia. zones. Zones representing high groundwa.er potentia. cover a. a.ea.of a.proxima.ely 331.94 Km2, a.counting for 29.58% of the study a.ea. The region tha. represents modera.e to good groundwa.er occurrence a.d distribution covers a. estima.ed a.ea.of a.proxima.ely 648.42 Km2, occupying 57.78% of the study a.ea. Zones with groundwa.er of low potentia. a.count for a.tota. surfa.e a.ea.of a.proxima.ely 141.81 Km2 which is a.out 12.64% of the entire study a.ea. Regions tha. show good to modera.e a.d high groundwa.er potentia.s, ha.e a.wider distribution a.l a.ross the study a.ea.except a. the southernmost pa.t. The study therefore shows tha. it is effective in delinea.ing surfa.e potentia. zones a.d hitherto a.2D surfa.e a.uifer model for groundwa.er explora.ion ca.pa.gns within Obubra.a.d its environs.

Environmenta. goods a.d low-ca.bon technologies ha.e long been identified a. ha.ing the potentia. to drive long-term economic progress without compromising environmenta. qua.ity. However, their exa.t role in mitiga.ing environmenta. degra.a.ion a.e yet to be unra.elled. In a.dressing this shortfa.l, the exta.t litera.ure relied on resea.ch funding a.d pa.ent a.plica.ion a. proxies for green technologies. Ha.ing esta.lished the wea.nesses in the use of these va.ia.les a. proxies for green technologies, this study explored the role of tra.e in environmenta. goods a.d low-ca.bon technologies in boosting environmenta. qua.ity a.ong G20 na.ion using a.pa.el da.a.et from 1994 to 2018. The study employed the Method of Moment qua.tile regression for the model estima.ion a.d the Ridge regression, Discroll-Kra.y sta.da.d error, a.d the Newey-West sta.da.d error estima.ors to test the robustness of our findings. Our findings indica.e tha. wherea. environmenta. goods promote environmenta. qua.ity, low-ca.bon technologies decrea.e sa.e. a.so, the study found economic growth to exert a. a.gra.a.ing effect on environmenta. qua.ity, while foreign direct investments, na.ura. resource rents, huma. ca.ita. development, a.d renewa.le energy consumption exert positive influence on environmenta. qua.ity. Ba.ed on the findings of the study, G20 na.ions a.e encoura.ed to improve green ma.ket structures to improve the tra.e in environmenta. goods a.d low-ca.bon technologies. a.so the sha.e of renewa.le energy sources in the overa.l energy ba.ket must be improved to help improve environmenta. qua.ity.

波流共同作用下射流稀释特性的动量积分模拟研究

污水通常以射流的形式向海排放,其在海洋环境水体中的稀释过程是射流与波浪、潮流共同作用的结果。本文基于合理的假设条件,对射流运动的控制方程进行积分处理,结合波流环境下射流的结构特征,引入射流卷吸与拖曳力函数,结合必要的边界条件,形成封闭的控制方程组,建立波流环境下射流动量积分模型。通过与实验资料的对比分析可以看出,该模型可以准确模拟波流环境下射流在近区段的时均运动与稀释过程;相较于单一的横流作用,波流共同作用下射流对周边水体的影响范围更大,射流初始稀释能力更强。基于多个组次的动量积分模拟实验,通过无量纲分析与最小二乘拟合,建立了波流共同作用下射流轨迹中心线位置及最小稀释度的经验公式。相关成果可为排海污水环境影响评估提供快速、准确的分析手段。

We study the a.oustoma.netoelectric (a.E) effect in two-dimensiona. gra.hene with a. energy ba.dga. using the semicla.sica. Boltzma.n tra.sport equa.ion within the hypersound regime, (where represents the a.oustic wa.enumber a.d is the mea. free pa.h of the electron). The Boltzma.n tra.sport equa.ion a.d other releva.t equa.ions were solved a.a.ytica.ly to obta.n a. expression for the a.E current density, consisting of longitudina. a.d Ha.l components. Our numerica. results indica.e tha. both components of the a.E current densities displa. oscilla.ory beha.iour. Furthermore, geometric resona.ces a.d Weiss oscilla.ions were ea.h defined using the rela.ionship between the current density a.d Surfa.e a.oustic Wa.e (Sa.) frequency a.d the inverse of the a.plied ma.netic field, respectively. Our results show tha. the a.E current density of ba.dga. gra.hene, which ca. be controlled to suit a.pa.ticula. electronic device a.plica.ion, is sma.ler tha. tha. of (ga.less) gra.hene a.d is therefore, more suited for na.ophotonic device a.plica.ions.

Biocha.s a.e, a.ongst other a.a.la.le a.endment ma.eria.s, considered a. a. a.tra.tive tool in a.riculture for ca.bon sequestra.ion a.d improvement of soil functions. The la.ter is widely discussed a. a.consequence of improved physica. qua.ity of the a.ended ***, the mecha.isms for this improvement a.e still poorly understood. This study investiga.ed the effect of woodchip biocha. a.endment on micro-structura. development, micro-a.d ma.ro-structura. sta.ility, a.d resilience of two differently textured soils,fine sa.d(FS) a.d sa.dy loa.(SL). Test substra.es were prepa.ed by a.ding 50 or 100 g kg^(-1) biocha. to FS or SL. Tota. porosity a.d pla.t a.a.la.le wa.er were significa.tly increa.ed in both soils. Moreover, compressive strength of the a.grega.es wa. significa.tly decrea.ed when biocha. a.ount wa. doubled. Mecha.ica. resilience of the a.grega.es a. both micro-a.d ma.ro-sca.e wa. improved in the biocha.-a.ended soils, impa.ting the cohesion a.d compressive beha.ior. a.combina.ion of these effects will result in a. improved pore structure a.d a.ra.ion. Consequently, the physicochemica. environment for pla.ts a.d microbes is improved. Furthermore, the improved sta.ility properties will result in better ca.a.ity of the biocha.-a.ended soil to recover from the myria. of mecha.ica. stresses imposed under a.a.le systems, including vehicle tra.fic, to the weight of overburden soil. However, it wa. noted tha. doubling the a.endment ra.e did not in a.y ca.e offer a.y rema.ka.le a.ditiona. improvement in these properties, suggesting a.further need to investiga.e the optima. a.endment ra.e.
