Episodic autobiographical memory(AM) allows one, through the recollection of sensory-perceptual details, thoughts and feelings, to become aware of an event as belonging to one's own past as well as being able to project into one's future. Because AM provides a sense of self-continuity, contributes to the integrity of the self, and helps predicting future experiences, any deficit of AM may have debilitating consequences for everyday life functioning. Understanding AM failure and the underlying neural mechanisms has the potential to shed light on brain reorganization mechanisms and engagement of compensatory processes. Functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI) provides the most promising imaging method to tackle these issues. We reviewed evidence from the few studies that used fMRI to investigate the functionality of the residual tissue, the neural reorganization and compensatory mechanisms in patients with neurological conditions due to impaired medial temporal lobe. Overall, these studies highlight the importance of the left hippocampus, which when atrophied and not functional leads to AM deficits but its residual functionality may support relatively normal AM recollection. When damaged hippocampal tissue is not functional, other brain regions(e.g., the medial prefrontal cortex) may be involved to compensate impairment, but they appear generally ineffective to support detailed episodic recollection.

The inverse problem of seismology for media with attenuation is considered in this paper. Generalized standard Linear solid is used to describe viscoelastic media. In the numerical solution certain parameterizations can be coupled, it means that true heterogeneity of the only one of parameters can be restored only as a perturbation of another. This is why important to investigate reliability of parameters recovery. By using method based on diffraction patterns it is possible to see whether the parameters are coupled. singular value decomposition was used to study the possibility of recovering the parameters in practice. It was investigated the possibility of reconstructing of the density, impedances and attenuation properties. Coupling appears on the attenuation properties and impedances separately corresponding to the P-wave and s-wave. It is also should be noted that coupling decreases with increasing frequency range and the condition number.

Breast cancer is the most common type of malignant tumor among women and their second leading cause of cancer-related *** most common method for screening and diagnosis is ***,two main problems have been ***,the dose of radiation received during the test prevents the method from the use on women who are 〈 40 years ***,there can be mammogram failure owing to the lack of tumor contrast with the fibrous ***,there is a need for screening methods that will help to identify high-risk *** developed a biological marker test that can help to identify *** levels of sialic acid （sA） in saliva are known to correlated with breast *** this study,we evaluated the feasibility of Raman spectroscopy as a method for quantification of sA in saliva,using citrate-reduced silver nanoparticles （cit-Ag-NPs） as a surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy （sERs） *** of sA was accomplished by measuring its intensity in saliva and comparing it with a calibration curve of sA *** mean sA concentration in saliva was found to be significantly higher among 100 breast cancer patients （18.3 ＆#177; 9.4 mg＆#183;dL-1;mean ＆#177; sD） than among 106 healthy controls （3.5 ＆#177; 1.0 mg＆#183;dL-1）.The sERs test showed sensitivity of 94% and specificity 98% for detection of patients with breast cancer,assuming that sA concentration 〉 7 mg＆#183;dL-1 is a cutoff for positive test *** findings prove the usefulness of this sERs technique as a simple,convenient,and highly sensitive method of quantitative analysis of sA in *** simplicity of this nanotechnological test may help to substantially reduce the mortality among patients with breast cancer by providing women with a simple,noninvasive screening test that can be applied regardless of age or density of breast tissue.

Optical bound states in the continuum(BICs)provide a way to engineer very narrow resonances in photonic *** extended interaction time in these systems is particularly promising for the enhancement of nonlinear optical processes and the development of the next generation of active optical ***,the achievable interaction strength is limited by the purely photonic character of optical ***,we mix the optical BIC in a photonic crystal slab with excitons in the atomically thin semiconductor Mose_(2) to form nonlinear exciton-polaritons with a Rabi splitting of 27 meV,exhibiting large interaction-induced spectral *** asymptotic BIC-like suppression of polariton radiation into the far field toward the BIC wavevector,in combination with effective reduction of the excitonic disorder through motional narrowing,results in small polariton linewidths below 3 *** with a strongly wavevector-dependent Q-factor,this provides for the enhancement and control of polariton–polariton interactions and the resulting nonlinear optical effects,paving the way toward tuneable BIC-based polaritonic devices for sensing,lasing,and nonlinear optics.

神经退行性病变是一种可导致神经细胞渐进性退变或死亡的不可治愈性疾病。该疾病可诱发功能性运动障碍以及精神问题,比如痴呆。在诸多种类的神经退行性病变中,阿尔茨海默病占据最大比例。瞬时受体电位M2型(TRPM2)离子通道是一个可通过钙离子的非选择性阳离子通道。研究表明,TRPM2离子通道有可能通过不同路径(包括炎症路径)参与阿尔茨海默病的病理过程。本综述主要通过对TRPM2与Aβ、氧化应激以及钙离子之间关系的讨论,总结概括了TRPM2在阿尔茨海默病病理学中的作用,也对近期TRPM2药理学领域的研究进展进行了探讨,并对如何进一步研究TRPM2在阿尔茨海默病中的作用进行了展望。

The severity of septic arthritis of the hand and the prospects for restoration of joint function are determined by a complex of factors. Among them, the leading role belongs to local changes in tissue structures. This includes the destruction of articular cartilage and bone tissue with the development of osteomyelitis, the involvement of paraarticular soft tissues in the purulent process, and the destruction of the flexor/extensor tendons of the fingers. The currently missing specialized classification of septic arthritis could help in systematizing the diseases, determining treatment tactics, and predicting the results of *** classification of septic arthritis of the hand proposed for discussion is based on the following principle: Joint-Wound-Tendon(Jx Wx Tx);Jx characterizes damage to the osteochondral structures of the joint, Wx is the presence of paraarticular purulent wounds or fistulas, and Tx is destruction of the flexor/extensor tendons of the finger. The classification of the diagnosis makes it possible to assess the nature and severity of damage to the structures of the joint and may also be useful when comparing the results of treatment of septic arthritis of the hand.

The vibraimage technology is applied to evaluate the multiple intelligences by presenting the line-opposite stimuli. The analysis of testing results of 161 and 91 first-year students from two technical universities, st. Petersburg, Russia, is presented. A new method has been introduced for the assessment of the level of introversion and extraversion of a person being tested. Various equations for calculating the psychophysiological state have been studied and common patterns of the psychophysiological responses to the stimuli were revealed. The experiments showed a prevailing negative correlation between the parameters of a person’s energy consumption and information exchange detected by the vibraimage technology. The article discusses the possibility of extending the obtained results to other psychophysiological tests.
