Cation-anionicpalladium Complexes—New Types of Antitumor, immune Response-modulating and Radioprotective Agents

Here we report results of our investi.a.ions of new class of bi.a.tive palladium compounds (AH n ) m [PdCl 4 ], which were discovered as a result of systematic study of correlations between composition, structure and bi.a.tivity of different types of platinum metals coordi.a.ion compounds. For the first time we demonstrated in vivoa possibility of development of palladium compounds, which exceed cisplatin in antitumor activity and do not show immunosuppressive effects, and palladium compounds with immunostimulating and radioprotective activities. Combi.a.ions of cytostatic agents or radiation with palladium complexes lead to signifi.a.t synergism of their activities and high therapeutic efficiency exceeded an efficiency of their separated use.

Accounting for natural-cli.a.ic conditions in the design of roads in western Siberia

The paper proposes a methodologi.a. scheme that thoroughly accounts for natural-cli.a.ic conditions which can impair the stability and longevity of transport facilities （roadways）, to ensure the best possible quality of the initial road design. Factors determining the formation of water-heating mode subgrade soils are allocated, and an information database for mathemati.a. modeling of geocomplexes is shown. Values of strength and deformability of clay soils are calculated within the limits of the defined, homogeneous road districts in Western Siberia to provide the required level of reliability of design solutions.
