Autoimmune enteropathy(AIe)is a rare immune mediated disorder primarily affecting children,characterized by chronic diarrhea,malabsorption,vomiting,weight loss and villous *** has also been observed in adults presenting diagnostic and treatment challenges due to its overlap with other gastrointestinal disorders such as celiac *** diagnostic criteria for AIe include small bowel villous atrophy,lack of response to dietary restrictions,presence of anti-enterocyte antibodies,and predisposition to autoimmunity without severe *** criteria emphasize characteristic histological findings and exclusion of other causes of villous *** is associated with various autoimmune disorders and can present with overlapping features with Celiac disease,including villous atrophy but without significant intraepithelial *** primarily involves immunosuppression using corticosteroids,calcineurin inhibitors,and anti-tumor necrosis factor therapy,alongside nutri-tional *** the challenges,understanding AIe’s diverse manifest-ations and improving diagnostic criteria are essential for effective management and improved patient *** research is needed to elucidate the pathogenesis,disease progression and long-term outcomes of AIe.

This work has two main purposes：（i） introducing the basic concepts of molecular dynamics analysis to material scientists and engineers, and （ii） providing a better understanding of instrumented indentation measurements, presenting an example of nanoindentation and scratch test simulations. To reach these purposes, three-dimensional molecular dynamics （MD） simulations of nanoindentation and scratch test technique were carried out for generic thin films that present BCC crystalline structures. Structures were oriented in the plane （100） and placed on FCC diamond substrates. A pair wise potential was employed to simulate the interaction between atoms of each layer and a repulsive radial potential was used to represent a spherical tip indenting the sample. Mechanical properties of this generic material were obtained by varying the indentation depth and dissociation energy. The load-unload curves and coefficient of friction were found for each test; on the other hand, dissociation energy was varied showing a better mechanical response for films that present grater dissociation energy. Structural change evolution was observed presenting vacancies and slips as the depth was varied.

Acoustic classification systems and the Sediment Trend Analysis method were used to identify and map the bed diversity in a very shallow(n,pappas lagoon,Western Greece. Analogue acoustic data,collected by means of a 100 kHz side scan sonar system,were digitized and classified into six acoustic classes using recently developed acoustic classification systems (SonarClass,TargAn).By comparing the acoustic classes to ground truth data consisting of sediment grain size and visual inspection of the lagoon-bed,it is demonstrated that the six acoustic classes correlate well with the predominant surface sediment types and *** the spatial distribution of the classes can be considered to represent the spatial pattern of the sedimentary assemblages of the *** grain size trend analysis identified three dominant sediment pathways and directional trends which could be related to the predominant wind direction,the sediment influx through the inlets and the sediment supply from a small stream in the southern part of the *** integration of acoustic and sedimentological data together with advanced data processing systems leads to a better understanding of the sedimentary,morphological and biological processes in a shallow lagoon in different spatial and temporal scales and will therefore be beneficial to both sedimentological and biotic-diversity studies.

Ruminal bacteria lipopolysaccharides:an immunological and microbial outlook

Lipopolysaccharides(LpS)are outer membrane components of Gram-negative bacteria made of three regions:the O-antigen;the core oligosaccharide;and a glucosamine disaccharide linked to hydroxy fatty acids,which is named lipid *** number phosphate groups,and hydroxy fatty acid chains is associated with the immunopotency and the immunomodulatory activity of LpS,where six-acyl chain lipid A with two phosphate groups is found in virulent strains and five-or four-acyl chain lipid A with one phosphate group are found in non-virulent bacteria *** bacteria are predominantly Gram-negative and their LpS have not been thoroughly *** the rumen,LpS is comprised of mixed ruminal *** upon a body of theoretical and applied work,this paper aims to critically review the scientific literature regarding single-species and mixed ruminal bacteria LpS,highlighting the importance of ruminal LpS to the ***,future research directions are suggested in order to further our understanding of the roles of LpS in the *** suggestions for further understanding ruminal LpS include(1)in silico evaluation of major bacteria contributing to ruminal LpS,(2)structural characterization of LpS from prominent ruminal bacteria species,such as ruminal selenomonads and Megasphaera elsdenii,and,(3)ruminal epithelial tissue immune response evaluation from single-species and mixed ruminal *** conclusion,this review identifies numerous areas for future research,including setting the basis for future modeling and simulation of host microbiome interactions in ruminants.

Abstract We study affine Jacobi structures （brackets） on an affine bundle π ： A → M, i.e. Jacobi brackets that close on affine functions. We prove that if the rank of A is non-zero, there is a one-toone correspondence between affine Jacobi structures on A and Lie algebroid structures on the vector bundle A^＋ = ∪p∈M Aff（Ap, R） of affine functionals. In the case rank A = 0, it is shown that there is a one-to-one correspondence between affine Jacobi structures on A and local Lie algebras on A^＋. Some examples and applications, also for the linear case, are discussed. For a special type of affine Jacobi structures which are canonically exhibited （strongly-affine or affine-homogeneous Jacobi structures） over a real vector space of finite dimension, we describe the leaves of its characteristic foliation as the orbits of an affine representation. These affine Jacobi structures can be viewed as an analog of the Kostant-Arnold-Liouville linear poisson structure on the dual space of a real finite-dimensional Lie algebra.

Fo screen or not to screen： the prostate cancer dilemma

The european Randomized Study of Screening for prostate （eRSpC） has updated their previous seminal report on prostate cancer mortality comparing screened men to controls. now with 13 years follow-up, the rate ratio of prostate cancer mortality was 0.79 favoring the screened population. The authors concluded that there was a ＂substantial reduction in prostate cancer mortality attributable to testing with prostate-specific antigen （pSA）＂ but they also stated that a＂quantification of harms＂ needed to be addressed. The issue of harms was not addressed by the eRSpC （at least not in this report） and hence this additional statement most likely reflects the controversy currently surrounding the risks associated with over-diagnosis and treatment of indolent diseases inadvertently detected by a screening protocol, In addition, the positive results from this trial conflict with those of the prostate, lung, colorectal and ovarian （pLCO）2 study and reouire further elaboration.

Determination of Deuteron Dipole Moment in nuclear Quark-Like Model

Using the quark-like model, we have improved the existing deviation between theoretical and experimental values of magnetic dipole moment of deuteron. Based upon pauli exclusion principle, the constituent quarks form a ground state for l = 0. The expectation value of the deuteron magnetic dipole moment operator is determined to be equal to 0.861 597 8μ n in better agreement with the measured value of 0.857 437 6μ n as compared to the shell model calculations.

Structure and property of metal melt Ⅲ—Relationship between kinematic viscosity and size of atomic clusters

The method of crucible rotating oscillation damping was employed to measure the kinematic viscosity of aluminum melt,and the curve of viscosity v versus temperature T from 935 to 1383 K was ***,based on the calculation model of the evolution behavior of atomic clusters in liquid structure,the curve of atomic clusters size d versus temperature was obtained,and the calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental *** analyzing experimental data,it was found that both the viscosity and the size of atomic clusters of aluminum melt are monodrome functions of temperature,and the relation between v(T) and d(T) is a linear function,i.e.,v = v 0 + K·d(T).This relation indirectly verifies the calculation model of the structural information of metal melt,which is of great significance for studying the relation between melt microstructure and macro-physical properties.

High mountain areas provide water resources for a large share of the world＇s population. The ongoing deglaciation of these areas is resulting in great instability of mountainous headwater regions, which could significantly affect water supply and intensify dangerous hydrological processes. The hydrological processes in mountains are still poorly understood due to the complexity of the natural conditions, great spatial variation and a lack of observation. A knowledge of flow-forming processes in alpine areas is essential to predict future possible trends in hydrological conditions and to calculate river runoff characteristics. The goal of this study is to gain detailed field data on various components of natural hydrological processes in the alpine areas of the north Caucasus and Central Tien Shan, and to investigate the possibility that the isotopic method can reveal important regularities of river flow formation in these regions. The study is based on field observations in representative alpine river basins in the north Caucasus （the Dzhankuat river basin） and the Central Tien Shan （the Chon-Kyzyl-Suu river basin） during 2013-2015. A mixing-model approach was used to conduct river hydrograph separation. Isotope methods were used to estimate the contribution of different nourishment sources in total runoff and its regime. ~80, ~D and mineralization were used as indicators. Two equation systems for the study sites were derived： in terms of water routing and runoff genesis. The Dzhankuat and Chon-Kyzyl-Suu river hydrographs were separated into 4 components： liquid precipitation/meltwaters, surface routed/subsurface routed waters.

Therapeutic potential of exercise-hormone irisin in Alzheimer's disease

Irisin is a myokine that is generated by cleavage of the membrane protein fibronectin type Ⅲ domain-containing protein 5(FnDC5) in response to physical exercise. Studies reveal that irisin/FnDC5 has neuroprotective functions against Alzheimer's disease, the most common form of dementia in the elderly, by improving cognitive function and reducing amyloid-β and tau pathologies as well as neuroinflammation in cell culture or animal models of Alzheimer's disease. Although current and ongoing studies on irisin/FnDC5 show promising results, further mechanistic studies are required to clarify its potential as a meaningful therapeutic target for alleviating Alzheimer's disease. We recently found that irisin treatment reduces amyloid-β pathology by increasing the activity/levels of amyloid-β-degrading enzyme neprilysin secreted from astrocytes. Herein, we present an overview of irisin/FnDC5's protective roles and mechanisms against Alzheimer's disease.
