Forest mapping:a comparison between hyperspectral and multispectral images and technologies

mapping forests is an important process in managing natural *** present,due to spectral resolution limitations,multispectral images do not give a complete separation between different forest *** contrast,advances in remote sensing technologies have provided hyperspectral tools and images as a solution for the determination of *** this study,spectral signatures for stone pine（Pinus pinea L.） forests were collected using an advanced spectroradiometer ＂ASD FieldSpec 4 Hi-Res＂ with an accuracy of 1 *** spectral signatures are used to compare between different multispectral and hyperspectral satellite *** comparison is based on processing satellite images： hyperspectral Hyperion,hyperspectral CHRIS-Proba,Advanced Land Imager（ALI）,and Landsat *** and classification methods for hyperspectral and multispectral images are investigated and *** addition,a well-known hyperspectral image classification algorithm,spectral angle mapper（SAm）,has been improved to perform the classification process efficiently based on collected spectral *** results show that the modified SAm is 9% more accurate than the conventional *** addition,experiments indicate that the CHRIS-Proba image is more accurate than Landsat 8（overall accuracy 82%,precision 93%,and Kappa coefficient 0.43 compared to 60,67%,and 0.035,respectively）.Similarly,Hyperion is better than ALI in mapping stone pine（overall accuracy 92%,precision 97%,and Kappa coefficient 0.74 compared to 52,56%,and -0.032,respectively）.

There are many crop yield estimation techniques which are used in countries around the world,but the most effective is the one based on remote sensing data and ***,remote sensing data which are needed to estimate crop yield is incomplete most of the time due to many obstacles such as climate conditions(percentage of cloud cover),and low temporal *** problems reduce the effectiveness of the known crop yield estimation techniques and render them *** was many attempts to solve these problems by using high temporal resolution and low spatial resolution ***,this type of images are suitable for very large homogeneous crop *** compensate for the lack of high spatial resolution satellite images,a new mathematical model is *** on the new mathematical model an intelligent system is implemented that includes the use of energy balance equation to improve the crop yield *** verify the results of the intelligent system,several farmers are interviewed and information about their crops yield is *** comparison between the estimated crop yield and the actual production in different fields proves the high accuracy of the intelligent system.

Adult neurogenesis persists after birth in the subventricular zone, with new neurons migrating to the granule cell layer and glomerular layers of the olfactory bulb, where they integrate into existing circuitry as inhibitory interneurons. The generation of these new neurons in the olfactory bulb supports both structural and functional plasticity, aiding in circuit remodeling triggered by memory and learning processes. However, the presence of these neurons, coupled with the cellular diversity within the olfactory bulb, presents an ongoing challenge in understanding its network organization and function. moreover,the continuous integration of new neurons in the olfactory bulb plays a pivotal role in regulating olfactory information processing. This adaptive process responds to changes in epithelial composition and contributes to the formation of olfactory memories by modulating cellular connectivity within the olfactory bulb and interacting intricately with higher-order brain regions. The role of adult neurogenesis in olfactory bulb functions remains a topic of debate. Nevertheless, the functionality of the olfactory bulb is intricately linked to the organization of granule cells around mitral and tufted cells. This organizational pattern significantly impacts output, network behavior, and synaptic plasticity, which are crucial for olfactory perception and memory. Additionally, this organization is further shaped by axon terminals originating from cortical and subcortical regions. Despite the crucial role of olfactory bulb in brain functions and behaviors related to olfaction, these complex and highly interconnected processes have not been comprehensively studied as a whole. Therefore, this manuscript aims to discuss our current understanding and explore how neural plasticity and olfactory neurogenesis contribute to enhancing the adaptability of the olfactory system. We address the physical and kinematical properties of Wolf–Rayet[WR]central stars(CSs)and their host planetary nebulae(PNe).The studied sample comprises all[WR]CSs that are currently *** analysis is based on recent observations of the parallax,proper motion,and color index of[WR]CSs from the Gaia space mission’s early third release(eDR3)catalog,as well as common nebular *** results revealed an evolutionary sequence,in terms of decreasing Teff,from the early hot[WO 1]to the late cold[WC 12]*** evolutionary sequence extends beyond[WR]CS temperature and luminosity to additional CS and nebular *** statistical analysis shows that the mean final stellar mass and evolutionary age of the[WR]CS sample are 0.595±0.13m⊙and 9449±2437 yr,respectively,with a mean nebular dynamical age of 7270±1380 *** addition,we recognize that the color of the majority(∼85%)of[WR]CSs tends to be red rather than their genuine blue *** analysis indicates that two-thirds of the apparent red color of most[WR]s is attributed to the interstellar extinction whereas the other one-third is due to the PN self-extinction effect.

The acceleration autopilot design for skid-to-turn （STT） missile faces a great challenge owing to coupling effect among planes, variation of missile velocity and its parameters, inexistence of a complete state vector, and nonlinear aerodynamics. moreover, the autopilot should be designed for the entire flight envelope where fast variations exist. In this paper, a design of integrated roll-pitch-yaw autopilot based on global fast terminal sliding mode control （GFTSmC） with a partial state nonlinear observer （PSNLO） for STT nonlinear time-varying missile model, is employed to address these issues. GFTSmC with a novel sliding surface is proposed to nullify the integral error and the singularity problem without application of the sign function. The proposed autopilot consisting of two-loop structure, controls STT maneuver and stabilizes the rolling with a PSNLO in order to estimate the immeasurable states as an output while its inputs are missile measurable states and control signals. The missile model considers the velocity variation, gravity effect and parameters＇ variation. Furthermore, the environmental conditions＇ dynamics are mod- eled. PSNLO stability and the closed loop system stability are studied. Finally, numerical simulation is established to evaluate the proposed autopilot performance and to compare it with existing approaches in the literature.

SBL-JP-0004:A promising dual inhibitor of JAK2 and PI3KCD against gastric cancer

Background:Gastric cancer(GC)remains a global health burden and is often characterized by heterogeneous molecular profiles and resistance to conventional *** phosphoinositide 3-kinase and PI3K and Janus kinase(JAK)signal transducer and activator of transcription(JAK-STAT)pathways play pivotal roles in GC progression,making them attractive targets for therapeutic ***:This study applied a computational and molecular dynamics simulation approach to identify and characterize SBL-JP-0004 as a potential dual inhibitor of JAK2 and PI3KCD *** and SNU-5 GC cells were used for in vitro ***:SBL-JP-0004 exhibited a robust binding affinity for JAK2 and PI3KCD kinases,as evidenced by molecular docking scores and molecular dynamics *** interactions and Gibbs binding free energy estimates confirmed stable and favorable interactions with target ***-JP-0004 displayed an half-maximal inhibitory concentration(IC_(50))value of 118.9 nm against JAK2 kinase and 200.9 nm against PI3KCD ***-JP-0004 exhibited potent inhibition of cell proliferation in KATOIII and SNU-5 cells,with half-maximal growth inhibitory concentration(GI50)values of 250.8 and 516.3 nm,respectively.A significant elevation in the early phase apoptosis(28.53%in KATOIII cells and 26.85%in SNU-5 cells)and late phase apoptosis(17.37%in KATOIII cells and 10.05%in SNU-5 cells)were observed with SBL-JP-0004 treatment compared to 2.1%and 2.83%in their respective ***:The results highlight SBL-JP-0004 as a promising dual inhibitor targeting JAK2 and PI3KCD kinases for treating GC and warrant further preclinical and clinical investigations to validate its utility in clinical settings.
