In this work,as an extension of previous machine learning studies,three novel techniques,namely local inter-pretable model-agnostic explanations(LIMe),neural network pattern recognition and association rule mining(ARM)were utilized for proton exchange membrane(PeM)and anion exchange membrane(AeM)electrolyzer database for hydrogen *** main goal of LIMe was to determine the positive or negative effects of a variety of descriptor variables on current density,power density and *** this technique,it was possible to uncover rules or paths that lead to high current density,low power density and low *** provided the dominant rules leading to high current density such as using eLAT as the cathode gas diffusion layer,using pure Pt on the cathode surface and using pure carbon as the cathode *** addition,LIMe and neural network pattern recognition successfully uncovered the importance of catalytic materials such as cath-ode/anode support/surface elements,operational variables like K_(2)CO_(3) or KOH concentration in the electrolyte,certain membrane types,gas diffusion layers,and applied potential on current *** was then concluded that machine learning can help determine the ideal conditions for developing a PeM and AeM electrolyzer to maximize hydrogen generation,which can also guide future research.

Phosphoribulokinase （PRK）, a nuclear-encoded plastid-localized enzyme unique to the photosynthetic carbon reduction （Calvin） cycle, was cloned and characterized from the stramenopile alga Vaucheria litorea. This alga is the source of plastids for the mollusc （sea slug） elysia chlorotica which enable the animal to survive for months solely by photoautotrophic CO2 fixation. The 1633-bp V. litorea prk gene was cloned and the coding region, found to be interrupted by four introns, encodes a 405-amino acid protein. This protein contains the typical bipartite target sequence expected of nuclearencoded proteins that are directed to complex （i.e. four membrane-bound） algal plastids. de novo synthesis of PRK and enzyme activity were detected in e. chlorotica in spite of having been starved of V. litorea for several months. Unlike the algal enzyme, PRK in the sea slug did not exhibit redox regulation. Two copies of partial PRK-encoding genes were isolated from both sea slug and aposymbiotic sea slug egg dnA using PCR. each copy contains the nucleotide region spanning exon 1 and part of exon 2 of V litorea prk, including the bipartite targeting peptide. However, the larger prk fragment also includes intron 1. The exon and intron sequences of prk in e. chlorotica and V/itorea are nearly identical. These data suggest that PRK is differentially regulated in V. litorea and e. chlorotica and at least a portion of the V. litorea nuclear PRK gene is present in sea slugs that have been starved for several months.

The synovium is the soft tissue lining diarthrodial joints, tendon sheaths and bursae and is composed of intimal and subintimal layers. The intimal layer is composed of type A cells(macrophages) and type B cells(fibroblasts); in health, the subintima has few inflammatory cells. The synovium performs several homeostatic functions and is the primary target in several inflammatory arthritides. Inflammatory states are characterised by thickening of the synovial lining, macrophage recruitment and fibroblast proliferation, and an influx of inflammatory cells including lymphocytes, monocytes and plasma cells. Of the various methods employed to perform synovial biopsies arthroscopic techniques are considered the "gold standard", and have an established safety record. Synovial biopsy has been of critical importance in understanding disease pathogenesis and has provided insight into mechanisms of action of targeted therapies by way of direct evidence about eventsin the synovial tissue in various arthritides. It has been very useful as a research tool for proof of concept studies to assess efficacy and mechanisms of new therapies, provide tissue for in vitro studies, proteomics and microarrays and allow evaluation for biomarkers that may help predict response to therapy and identify new targets for drug development. It also has diagnostic value in the evaluation of neoplastic or granulomatous disease or infection when synovial fluid analysis is noncontributory.

Plants coordinate their development using long-distance signaling. The vascular system provides a route for long-distance movement, and specifically the xylem for root-to-shoot signaling. Root-to-shoot signals play roles communicating soil conditions, and these signals are important for agricultural water conservation. Using genetic approaches, the Arabidopsis bypass1 （bpsl） mutant, which over-produces a root-derived signal, was identified. Although bpsl mutants have both root and shoot defects, the shoot can develop normally if the roots are removed, and the mutant root is sufficient to induce arrest of the wild-type shoot. BYPASS1 encodes a protein with no functionally characterized domains, and BPSl-like genes are found in plant genomes, but not the genomes of animals. Analyses of hormone pathways indicate that the mobile compound that arises in bpsl roots requires carotenoid biosynthesis, but it is neither abscisic acid nor strigolactone. The current model suggests that BPS1 is required to prevent the synthesis of a novel substance that moves from the root to the shoot, where it modifies shoot growth by interfering with auxin signaling.

The gingiva, the masticatory portion of the oral mucosa, is excised and discarded frequently during routine dental treatments and following tooth extraction, dental crown lengthening, gingivectomy and periodontal surgeries. Subsequent to excision, healing eventually happens in a short time period after gingival surgery. Clinically, the gingival tissue can be collected very easily and, in the laboratory, it is also very easy to isolate gingival-derived mesenchymal stem cells (GMSCs) from this discarded gingival tissue. GMSCs, a stem cell population within the lamina propria of the gingival tissue, can be isolated from attached and free gingiva, inflamed gingival tissu-es, and from hyperplastic gingiva. Comparatively, they constitute more attractive alternatives to other dental-derived mesenchymal stem cells due to the availability and accessibility of gingival tissues. They have unique immunomodulatory functions and well-documented self-renewal and multipotent differentiation properties. They display positive signals for Stro-1, Oct-4 and SSeA-4 pluripotency-associated markers, with some co-expre-ssing Oct4/Stro-1 or Oct-4/SSeA-4. They should be considered as the best stem cell source for cell-based therapies and regenerative dentistry. The clinical use of GMSCs for regenerative dentistry represents an attrac-tive therapeutic modality. However, numerous biological and technical challenges need to be addressed prior to considering transplantation approaches of GMSCs as clinically realistic therapies for humans.

Steady detonation regimes, such as the detonation of explosive rate sticks, are of particular interest in studies of explosive reaction kinetics. If this is the case the detonation front shape as well as the fields of particle velocity, pressure etc. are steady in the system of coordinates linked to the detonation front. This facilitates the analysis of the experimental data obtained to verify or calibrate various detonation models.

Tomato production is influenced by shoot branching,which is controlled by different *** we produced tomato plants overexpressing the cytokinin-deactivating gene CYTOKInIn OXYdASe 2(CKX2).CKX2-overexpressing(CKX2-Oe)plants showed an excessive growth of axillary shoots,the opposite phenotype expected for plants with reduced cytokinin content,as evidenced by LC-MS analysis and ARR5-GUS *** TCP transcription factor SlBRC1b was downregulated in the axillary buds of CKX2-Oe and its excessive branching was dependent on a functional version of the GRAS-family gene LATeRAL SUPPReSSOR(LS).Grafting experiments indicated that increased branching in CKX2-Oe plants is unlikely to be mediated by root-derived *** CKX2-Oe plants with transgenic antisense plants for the strigolactone biosynthesis gene CAROTenOId CLeAVAGe dIOXYGenASe(CCd7-AS)produced an additive phenotype,indicating independent effects of cytokinin and strigolactones on increased *** the other hand,CKX2-Oe plants showed reduced polar auxin transport and their bud outgrowth was reduced when combined with auxin ***,CKX2-Oe basal buds did not respond to auxin applied in the decapitated *** results suggest that tomato shoot branching depends on a fine-tuning of different hormonal balances and that perturbations in the auxin status could compensate for the reduced cytokinin levels in CKX2-Oe plants.

BACKGROUnd Hemodynamic instability and shock are associated with untoward outcomes in gastrointestinal ***,there are no studies in the existing literature on the proportion of patients who developed these outcomes after gastrointestinal *** To determine the pooled event rates in the available literature and specify them based on the bleeding *** The protocol was registered on PROSPeRO in advance(CRd42021283258).A systematic search was performed in three databases(PubMed,eMBASe,and CenTRAL)on 14^(th) October *** proportions with 95%CI were calculated with a random-effects model.A subgroup analysis was carried out based on the time of assessment(on admission or during hospital stay).Heterogeneity was assessed by Higgins and Thompson’s I^(2) *** Joanna Briggs Institute Prevalence Critical Appraisal Tool was used for the risk of bias *** Reference Citation Analysis(https://***/)tool was applied to obtain the latest highlight *** We identified 11589 records,of which 220 studies were eligible for data *** overall proportion of shock and hemodynamic instability in general gastrointestinal bleeding patients was 0.25(95%CI:0.17-0.36,I^(2)=100%).In non-variceal bleeding,the proportion was 0.22(95%CI:0.14-0.31,I^(2)=100%),whereas it was 0.25(95%CI:0.19-0.32,I^(2)=100%)in variceal *** proportion of patients with colonic diverticular bleeding who developed shock or hemodynamic instability was 0.12(95%CI:0.06-0.22,I^(2)=90%).The risk of bias was low,and heterogeneity was high in all *** One in five,one in four,and one in eight patients develops shock or hemodynamic instability on admission or during hospitalization in the case of non-variceal,variceal,and colonic diverticular bleeding,respectively.
