At present the most promising principal solution of the divertor problemappears to be the use of liquid metals and primarily of lithium Capillary-Pore Systems (CPS) as ofplasma facing materials. A solid CPS filled with liquid lithium will have a high resistance tosurface and volume damage because of neutron radiation effects, melting, splashing and thermalstress-induced cracking in steady state and during plasma transitions to provide the normaloperation of divertor target plates and first-wall protecting elements. These materials will not bethe sources of impurities inducing an increase of Z_(eff) and they will not be collected as dust inthe divertor area and in ducts. experiments with lithium CPS under simulating conditions of plasmadisruption on a hydrogen plasma accelerator MK-200 [~ (10 - 15) MJ/m^2, ~ 50 μs] have beenperformed. The formation of a shielding layer of lithium plasma and the high stability of thesesystems have been shown. The new lithium limiter tests on an up-graded T-11M tokamak (plasma currentup to 100 kA, pulse length ~0.3 s) have been performed. Sorption and desorption of plasma-forminggas, lithium emission into discharge, lithium erosion, deposited power of the limiter areinvestigated in these experiments. The first results of experiments are presented.

Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) negatively affect quality of life, causing pain and restricted jaw movements. This study evaluates the effectiveness of Transcutaneous electrical Nerve Stimulation (TeNS) on TMD patients before orthodontic treatment at the Juarez Autonomous University of Tabasco. A quantitative, quasi-experimental study was conducted with 30 patients who met the inclusion criteria: aged 18 to 65 years, with TMJ pain symptoms, diagnosed with temporomandibular disorders using the Helkimo index, and who had provided informed consent for the study. The range of mandibular movement and the visual Analog Scale (vAS) were measured to record values before therapy. The electrodes of the TeNS therapy were positioned on both sides of the jaw in the preauricular area and the masseter muscle, the therapy was administered for 40 minutes, utilizing a frequency of 2 - 4 Hz and a pulse duration of 300 microseconds. Following this, the range of mandibular movement and the vAS were reassessed to evaluate the outcomes., significantly improved maximum mouth opening (37.7 ± 6.4 mm to 44.6 ± 5.88 mm), right laterality (3.86 ± 1.57 mm to 5.43 ± 1.21 mm), left laterality (3.13 ± 1.63 mm to 4.53 ± 1.61 mm), protrusion (4.01 ± 1.7 mm to 5.36 ± 1.32 mm), and pain perception (4.56 ± 2.045 to 2.03 ± 1.5) (P eNS therapy enhances mandibular movement and reduces pain, making it a well-tolerated, non-invasive complementary treatment for TMD.

Chronic kidney disease is commonly diagnosed in dogs,and clinical signs may be aggravated when infected agents are *** this case report,33 dogs with chronic kidney disease were clinically evaluated and serologically tested for Leptospira spp.,ehrlichia canis,and Anaplasma *** seroprevalence for Leptospira *** 39.4%.The most frequent serovars found were Pyrogenes,Canicola,Bratislava and Australis,with serological titers between 1:100 to 1:*** signs included fever,depression,decreased body condition,vomiting and hema‑*** laboratory fndings were anemia,leukocytosis,thrombocytopenia,increased liver enzymes,urea and creatinine,hyperbilirubinemia and *** leptospira seronegative dogs were positive for one or both monitored homoparasites(i.e.,*** and ***);only three leptospira seropositive dogs were positive for one or both *** also suggest that endemic hemoparasites of dogs should be moni‑tored in dogs with a kidney condition for a better clinical picture of the patients and therapeutic approach.

TiO2 compounds possess relatively high adsorption abilities and exhibit high photocatalytic activities that exhibit potential for the destruction of organic pollutants in natural and waste *** potassium polytitanates modified using transition metals and their oxides/hydroxides generate new nanomaterials that operate in the visible spectral *** study presents the synthesis and investigation of the structure,composition and photocatalytic activity of powdered nanoscale quasi-amorphous potassium polytitanates particles modified with iron,zinc,copper,cobalt and nickel sulfate in aqueous *** of the powders investigated in this work exhibit a high adsorption capacity for methylene blue dye（15-20mg/g） related to the welldeveloped surface of the layered potassium polytitanate *** transition metals and their oxides/hydroxides influences the electronic structure of the obtained systems.A high photocatalytic activity was observed for systems containing iron,zinc,nickel and their oxides/hydroxides in the ultraviolet and visible ranges.

Background Immunization is a cornerstone of public health. Despite great success, China’s National Immunization Program (NIP) faces challenges, such as the integration of several World Health Organization-recommended vaccines and other systemic issues. The Innovation Laboratory for vaccine Delivery Research (vaxLab), supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and established in 2021 at Duke Kunshan University, focuses on enhancing China’s NIP through research and policy advocacy. This editorial aims to summarize the key findings of the manuscripts published in the collection contributed by vaxLab team and set the future research *** findings The collection contains eleven manuscripts discussing China’s immunization landscape and strategies to improve coverage, particularly for non-NIP vaccines like human papillomavirus vaccine (HPv), pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCv),haemophilus influenzae type b vaccine (Hib), and rotavirus vaccines. Key findings include: (i) The COvID-19 vaccination campaign demonstrated China’s capacity for rapid, large-scale immunization efforts, suggesting potential for broader vaccine coverage improvements; (ii) efforts in combating cervical cancer through the HPv vaccine indicate progress but also highlight challenges like vaccine supply and equitable access; (iii) The lag in adopting higher-valent paediatric combination vaccines in China needs attention to address regulatory and health system hurdles; (iv) Disparities in access to non-NIP vaccines underscore the need for government initiatives to improve vaccine coverage, especially for remote areas and marginalized populations; (v) Original studies emphasize the influence of caregivers’ knowledge, health workers’ financial incentives, and concerns about vaccine efficacy on immunization rates; (vi) Case studies from the Weifang City of China and Indonesia to introduce PCv offer insights on successful vaccine introduction strategies and the impact of innovative financing and g

The singular manifold method is used to obtain two general solutions to a (2+1)-dimensional breaking soliton equation, each of which contains two arbitrary functions. Then the new periodic wave solutions in terms of the Jacobi elliptic functions are generated from the general solutions. The long wave limit yields the new types of dromion and solitary structures.
