New reagents for immunofluorescence analysis of carbazole series containing fluorinated β-dicarbonyl fragments and carboxylic substituent groups separated by spacers of different lengths from the light-gathering carbazole scaffold have been developed. The markers in complex with eusup>3+sup> ions possess stability in the aqueous phase, intense and prolonged luminescence (τ 550 - 570 μs) with characteristic emission maxima in the region of 615 nm and excitation wavelengths in the region of 380 - 390 nm, which distinguishes them from most of the analogs used. In the study of marker conjugation with streptavidin, a reagent containing 4 - 5 europium labeling complexes based on spacer-containing carbazole tetraketone was obtained. The marker-doped silicate nanoparticles exhibit intense and long-lived luminescence in the characteristic region.

The aim of this study was to develop self-healable and robust elect roconductive film based on polyaniline copolymer for application as electrode in flexible *** this purpose,the electroconductive polymer brushes(ePB)was *** synthesis of ePB is based on graft polymerizations of acrylamide(AAm)on poly(vinyl alcohol)(PvA)with formation of PvA-PAAm polymer brush and subsequent graft copolymerization of aniline and p-phenylenediamine on PvA-PAAm resulting in formation of ePB with electroconducting copoly(aniline-co-pphenylenediamine)(PAPh DA).It was found that the ratio between PvA and PAAm at the first stage greatly influence the electrochemical performance of the *** films were prepared by casting of ePB solution with subsequent *** of electrical current distribution through the film with AFM reveal more uniform distribution of PAPhDA in ePB in comparison with reference PvA-PAPhDA and PAAm-PAPhDA *** was demonstrated that mechanical cha racteristics and electrical conductivity values of films restore at large extent after curring and self-healing under optimal relative humidity level(58%).The flexile supercapacitor cell with ePB film electrodes demon strate specific capacitance 602 mF·cm^(-2)at the current density of 1 mA·cm^(-2)and retention 94%of initial capacitance after 5000 charge/discharge cycles.

Introduction: The manifestations of syphilis are.varied, and serology can establish the diagnosis early, especially in rare cases. We report a case of chancre redux (a rare recurrence of primary syphilis), which was embedded within a secondary syphilitic penile skin plaque. There were missed opportunities at earlier diagnosis as serology for syphilis was not ordered. Case presentation: A 56-year-old man presented with thickened penile plaques for five months. He reported a small penile ulcer approximately one month prior. There was no history of other skin lesions or rash. However, clinically there was an asymptomatic, indurated ulcer embedded within a plaque which was swab-positive for syphilis by PCr. A punch biopsy of a plaque was spirochaete-positive using an immunoperoxidase stain. The patient's lesions resolved three weeks after treatment with intramuscular benzathine penicillin. Discussion: Uncommonly reported even in the preantibiotic era, chancre redux is now rare. The ulcer usually recurs at or near the site of the original chancre, and has similar morphological features. The skin lesions of secondary syphilis can exhibit remarkable morphological variety. The most common skin manifestation, a generalized macular rash, was not present at any time in this case. rather, there were only a couple of nonspecific penile plaques. If biopsy is performed, histologic findings are.variable, though typically the inflammatory infiltrate includes plasma cells. A special immunoperoxidase stain can highlight spirochaetes in biopsy sections. Conclusion: This case highlights the importance of considering syphilis in the differential diagnosis of persistent, atypical penile lesions and underscores the need for appropriate serological testing in such instances. Mountain streams act as conveyors of sediments within the river continuum,where the physical transport of sediments between river reaches through the catchment or between individual parts(e.g.,between hillslopes and channels)of the catchment is *** study focused on sediment connectivity analysis in the slavíčriver catchment in the MoravskoslezskéBeskydy Mts in the eastern part of the Czech *** connectivity index and connectivity index target modelling were combined with an analysis of anthropogenic ***,field mapping,grain size of bed sediments and stream power analysis were used to obtain information about connectivity in the *** on the analysis and obtained results,terrain topography is the current main driving factor affecting the connectivity of sediment movement in the slavíčriver ***,the modelling provided valuable information about high sediment connectivity despite different recent land use conditions(highly forested area of the catchment)than those in historical times from the 16th to 19th centuries when the slavíčriver catchment was highly deforested and sediment connectivity was probably *** analysis of anthropogenic inte.ventions,field mapping,grain size of bed sediments and stream power analysis revealed more deceleration of sediment movement through the catchment,decreased sediment connectivity with bed erosion,and gradual river channel process transformation in some *** mapping has identified various natural formations and human-induced changes impacting the longitudinal and lateral connectivity in the slavíč*** instance,embankments along 48%of the river's length,both on the right and left banks,significantly hinder lateral sediment supply to the *** power index analysis indicates increased energy levels in the flowing water in the river's upper reaches(up to 404.8 W m^(-2)).This high energy is also obse.ved in certain downstream sections(up to 337.6 W
