This study was conducted to investigate the properties of Pr3+-Dy3+doped Zn2Y-type hexaferrite.f.r potential technological applications.X-ray diffraction（XRD）,fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（fTIR） and field-emission scanning electron microscopy（feSeM） were used to analyze structural *** crystallite size in the synthesized samples varies between 57.54 and 68.57 *** vibrational bands at 400 and 600 cm-1,common to all hexaferrites,were confirmed through *** feSeM analysis reveals an agglomeration of magnetic grains and a decrease in the average grain size.f.om 1.24 to1.06 μ*** M-H loops show that,with x values of 0.0,0.1,and 0.2,the saturation magnetization is determined to be 34.76,34.23,and 32.52 emu/g,*** corresponding coercivity values are21.24,30.39,and 33.99 ***-visible spectroscopy using Tauc theory reveals an increase in the optical band gap from 2.32 to 2.50 eV,indicating a tunable energy band structure by incorporating Pr3+-Dy3+*** dielectric constant increases,whereas AC conductivity decreases with increased Pr3+-Dy3+*** obtained results suggest the potential suitability of these materials for various technological applications.

Developing cost-e.f.ctive and high-pe.f.rmance catalyst systems for dry reforming of methane(DRM)is crucial for producing hydrogen(H_(2))***,we investigate using iron(fe)as a promoter and major alumina support in Ni-based catalysts to improve their DRM *** addition of iron as a promotor was found to add reducible iron species along with reducible NiO species,enhance the basicity and induce the deposition of oxidizable *** incorporating 1 wt.%fe into a 5Ni/10ZrAl catalyst,a higher CO_(2) interaction and formation of reducible"NiO-species having strong interaction with support"was observed,which led to an∼80%H_(2) yield in 420 min of Time on Stream(TOS).further increasing the.f. content to 2 wt.%led to the.f.rmation of additional reducible iron oxide species and a noticeable rise in H_(2) yield up to 84%.Despite the severe weight loss on fe-promoted catalysts,high H_(2) yield was maintained due to the proper balance between the rate of CH_(4) decomposition and the rate of carbon deposit ***,incorporating 3 wt.%fe into the 5Ni/10ZrAl catalyst resulted in the highest CO_(2) interaction,wide presence of reducible NiO-species,minimumgraphitic deposit and an 87%H_(2) *** findings suggest that ironpromoted zirconia-alumina-supported Ni catalysts can be a cheap and excellent catalytic system for H_(2) production via DRM.

Aluminum alloys are widely used in industry due to their light *** alloys are generally exposed to abrasive wear,which diminishes their e.f.ctive *** wear resistance of these alloys is enhanced by adding various reinforcements,however,this enhancement comes at the cost of reduced fracture *** paradox of increased wear resistance versus decreased fracture toughness in aluminum alloys can be resolved by using functionally graded materials (fGMs).This study focuses on the abrasive wear behavior of functional graded aluminum matrix composites reinforced with Al_(3)Ti *** wear properties of the composites were investigated by considering the characteristics of the composite such as matrix type and various composite zones,as well as the wear parameters such as abrasive particle diameter,load,sliding speed and *** method was used in the abrasive wear tests in order to get more reliable results in a time.f.icient *** recipes were created based on the L_(27)(3^(6)) orthogonal *** a result of the study,it is observed that the wear resistance of the composites increases with an increase in Al_(3)Ti reinforcement content and hardness of the *** addition,the size of abrasive particles and the applied load are significant factors affecting abrasive wear.

Autoimmune enteropathy(AIe)is a rare immune mediated disorder primarily affecting children,characterized by chronic diarrhea,malabsorption,vomiting,weight loss and villous *** has also been observed in adults presenting diagnostic and treatment challenges due to its overlap with other gastrointestinal disorders such as celiac *** diagnostic criteria for AIe include small bowel villous atrophy,lack of response to dietary restrictions,presence of anti-enterocyte antibodies,and predisposition to autoimmunity without severe *** criteria emphasize characteristic histological findings and exclusion of other causes of villous *** is associated with various autoimmune disorders and can present with overlapping features with Celiac disease,including villous atrophy but without significant intraepithelial *** primarily involves immunosuppression using corticosteroids,calcineurin inhibitors,and anti-tumor necrosis factor therapy,alongside nutri-tional *** the challenges,understanding AIe’s diverse manifest-ations and improving diagnostic criteria are essential for e.f.ctive management and improved patient *** research is needed to elucidate the pathogenesis,disease progression and long-term outcomes of AIe.

Hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy (HAIC) is an advanced targeted therapeuticapproach for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), the most common type ofprimary liver cancer. HAIC has demonstrated significant potential in managingadvanced HCC, particularly in regions with high prevalence rates. Despite itspromise, several challenges and areas for future research remain. Clinical studieshave substantiated the e.f.cacy of HAIC in enhancing survival outcomes forpatients with advanced hepatic carcinoma. Notably, combination therapiesinvolving immune checkpoint inhibitors, such as lenvatinib and programmeddeath-1 inhibitors, have shown substantial improvements in median overallsurvival and progression-free survival compared to systemic *** combination therapies have also exhibited superior response rates anddisease control, with manageable and often less severe adverse events relative tosystemic treatments. This article is based on the review by Zhou et al and aims todiscuss the current status and future directions in the treatment of HCC, emphasizingthe role of HAIC and its integration with novel therapeutic agents.

This paper deals with the problem of recreating horizontal alignments of existing railway lines. The main objective is to propose a simple method for automatically obtaining optimized recreated alignments located as close as possible to an existing one. Based on a previously defined geometric model, two different constrained optimization problems are.f.rmulated. The.f.rst problem uses only the information provided by a set of points representing the track centerline while the second one also considers additional data about the existing alignment. The proposed methodology consists of a two-stage process in which both problems are solved consecutively using numerical techniques. The main results obtained applying this methodology are presented to show its pe.f.rmance and to prove its practical usefulness: an academic example used to compare with other methods, and a case study of a railway section located in Parga (Spain) in which the geometry of its horizontal alignment is successfully recovered.
