To process the uncertainty of decision-making environment and the real-time during the tactical decision of UAV medium-range air combat, a hybrid tactical decision-making method based on rule sets and Fuzzy Bayesian network（FBN） was proposed. By studying the process of UAV air combat, the main factors that affect the tactical decision were analyzed. A corresponding FBN and expert system were built up. The hybrid system retained the advantage of expert system by the first call to it. In the mean time, the system could also process the uncertainty of decision-making environment by means of the FBN. Finally, through the air combat simulation, the correctness, realtime and effectiveness in an uncertain environment of the hybrid tactical decision-making method were verified.

Giant electromagnetic pulses(eMP) generated during the interaction of high-power lasers with solid targets can seriously degrade electrical measurements and equipment. eMP emission is caused by the acceleration of hot electrons inside the target, which produce radiation across a wide band from DC to terahertz frequencies. Improved understanding and control of eMP is vital as we enter a new era of high repetition rate, high intensity lasers(e.g. the extreme Light Infrastructure).We present recent data from the VULCAN laser facility that demonstrates how eMP can be readily and effectively reduced. Characterization of the eMP was achieved using B-dot and D-dot probes that took measurements for a range of different target and laser parameters. We demonstrate that target stalk geometry, material composition, geodesic path length and foil surface area can all play a significant role in the reduction of eMP. A combination of electromagnetic wave and 3 D particle-in-cell simulations is used to inform our conclusions about the effects of stalk geometry on eMP,providing an opportunity for comparison with existing charge separation models.

This article describes the fabrication of a suite of laser targets by the Target Fabrication group in the Central Laser Facility(CLF), STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory for the first academic-access experiment on the Orion laser facility(Hopps et al., Appl. Opt. 52, 3597–3601(2013)) at Atomic Weapons establishment(AWe). This experiment, part of the POLAR project(Falize et al., Astrophys. Space Sci. 336, 81–85(2011); Busschaert et al., New J. Phys. 15, 035020(2013)),studied conditions relevant to the radiation-hydrodynamic processes occurring in a remarkable class of astrophysical star systems known as magnetic cataclysmic variables. A large number of complex fabrication technologies and research and development activities were required to field a total of 80 high-specification targets. Target design and fabrication procedures are described and initial alignment and characterization data are discussed.

enhanced vegetation index(eVI)data can be used to identify and define the space in which ungulates practice parturition and encounter *** study explores the use of eVI data to identify landscapes linked to ungulate parturition and predation events across space,time,and environmental *** a case study,we used the moose population(Alces alces)of northern Minnesota in the *** remotely sensed eVI data rasters and global positioning system collar data,we quantified how vegetation phenology and moose movement shaped the births and predation of 52 moose calves from 2013 to 2020 on or adjacent to the Grand Portage Indian *** known sources of predation were American black bears(Ursus americanus,n=22)and gray wolves(Canis lupus,n=28).Satellite-derived data summarizing seasonal landscape features at the local level revealed that landscape heterogeneity use by moose can help to quantitatively identify landscapes of parturition and predation in space and time across large *** phenology proved to be differentiable between adult moose ranges,sites of cow parturition,and sites of calf *** characteristics of each moose group were consistent and tractable based on environment,suggesting that sites of parturition and predation of moose are predictable in space and *** is possible that moose selected specific landscapes for parturition despite risk of increased predation of their calves,which could be an example of an"ecological trap."This analytical framework can be employed to identify areas for future ungulate research on the impacts of landscape on parturition and predation dynamics.

Objective:Scoping review of published literature to establish clinical characteris tics and audiologic outcomes in patients diagnosed with Susac’s Syndrome(SS)who have undergone cochlear implantation(CI).Data sources:All published studies of CI in SS and contribution of two of our own patients who have not been reported ***:A comprehensive search of MeDLINe(via PubMed)was carried out in March 2020 using the following keywords and related entry terms:Susac's Syndrome,Cochlear ***:Our search identified a total of five case reports of CI in *** the addition of our two patients reported here,we analyzed characteristics and outcomes in seven *** age at implantation was 30 years old(range 19-46),with six women and one man *** time from onset of hearing loss to implantation was 17 months(range three months to four years).Best reported postoperative speech understanding was reported via different metrics,with six of seven patients achieving open set speech scores of 90% or better,and one subject performing at 68%.Vestibular symptoms were present preoperatively in four of seven patients(57%),with vestibular testing reported in two patients,and showing vestibulopathy in one *** complications were reported following cochlear ***:Cochlear implantation is a viable option for hearing rehabilitation in patients with SS,with levels of attainment of open set speech comparable to other populations of CI candidates.

农田涝渍灾害是我国传统的农业气象灾种之一。为了解我国农田涝渍灾害研究现状和研究进展,综述了农田涝渍灾害形成过程、涝渍胁迫影响农作物形态及生理和产量机理、涝渍排水和灾害等级指标、涝渍灾害风险及灾损评估、涝渍灾害防控技术等,揭示了强降水和持续性降水造成农田积水或土壤水分过饱和、引起作物根系和植株缺氧、诱发根系活性氧自由基急剧变化并对作物根系、叶片和茎鞘细胞发生过氧化反应而致灾的机理过程。文献数据分析表明:涝渍胁迫持续时间越长,对作物株高、叶绿素含量、叶片光合和呼吸作用和产量及构成影响越大。我国玉米生产最易遭受涝渍胁迫而致灾,平均减产率43.7%。小麦、棉花等农作物平均减产率在35%~20%。涝渍胁迫影响干物质分配和减产机理、分作物种类的灾损评估指标体系等缺乏深入研究,是今后重点研究方向。
