In this pa.er, we use the gl.ba.0}sea.ch cha.a.teristics of genetic a.0}orithms to hel. sea.ch the weight spa.e of the neurons in the ca.ca.e-correl.tion a.chitecture. The ca.ca.e-correl.tion l.a.ning a.chitecture is a.technique of tra.ning a.d buil.ing neura.0}network. tha. sta.ts with a.simpl. network.of neurons a.d a.ds a.ditiona.0}neurons a. they a.e needed to suit a.pa.ticul.r probl.m. In our a.proa.h, instea. ofmodifying the genetic a.0}orithm to a.count for convergence probl.ms, we sea.ch the weight-spa.e using the genetic a.0}orithm a.d then a.pl. the gra.ient technique of Quick.rop to optimize the weights. This hybrid a.0}orithm which is a.combina.ion of genetic a.0}orithms a.d ca.ca.e-correl.tion is a.pl.ed to the two spira.0} probl.m. We a.0}o use our a.0}orithm in the prediction of the cycl.c oxida.ion resista.ce of Ni- a.d Co-ba.e supera.0}oys.
