The. have.attracte. significant atte.tion in re.omme.de. syste. re.e.rch to e.plore.the.impact of change. in ce.tain prope.tie. on the.re.omme.dation me.hanism. Among se.e.al counte.factual re.omme.dation me.hods, ite.-base. counte.factual e.planation me.hods have.attracte. conside.able.atte.tion be.ause.of the.r fle.ibility. The.core.ide. of ite.-base. counte.factual e.planation me.hods is to find a minimal subse. of inte.acte. ite.s(i.e., short le.gth) such that the.re.omme.de. ite. would topple.out of the.top-K re.omme.dation list once.the.e.ite.s have.be.n re.ove. from use. inte.actions(i.e., good quality). Usually, e.planations are.ge.e.ate. by ranking the.pre.ompute. importance.of ite.s, which fails to characte.ize.the.true.importance.of inte.acte. ite.s due.to se.aration from the.e.planation ge.e.ation. Additionally, the.final e.planations are.ge.e.ate. according to a ce.tain se.rch strate.y give. the.pre.ompute. importance.
