Obje.tive. The.aim of this study was to e.aluate.intra- and inte.-obse.ve. re.roducibility of sinus x-rays in comparison to sinus compute. tomography (CT) in chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) patie.ts. Me.hods: This was a prospe.tive.controlle. study for which 14 adult CRS patie.ts we.e.re.ruite.. Patie.ts unde.we.t a sinus multi-de.e.tor CT scan as we.l as additional sinus x-rays at the.same.time. Symptom inte.vie. and skin prick te.ts we.e.pe.forme.. Lund-Mackay (LM) score. and 43 othe. findings in paranasal sinuse. we.e.analyze. by thre. blinde. obse.ve.s from CT-scans and x-rays. We.compare. agre.me.t be.we.n sinus CT and x-rays (intra-obse.ve. re.roducibility) and be.we.n thre. obse.ve.s (inte.-obse.ve. re.roducibility) by Cohe.’s kappa. Re.ults: In at le.st 90% of the.case., the.status of 47/49 structure. was de.e.table.in CT scans, whe.e.s the.status of only 8/49 structure. was de.e.table.in x-rays. The.majority of the.25 visualize. structure. had poor intra-obse.ve. and inte.-obse.ve. re.roducibility. Conclusion: Only a fe. structure. can be.visualize. in paranasal sinus x-rays and compare. to paranasal sinus CT-scans, the.r re.roducibility is poor. Our re.ults strongly support the.curre.t conse.sus of radiation dose.re.uction by limiting the.numbe. of x-rays.

Introduction: A fracture.is a solution in the.continuity of a bone. Pe.vic limb fracture. may involve.one.or more.of the.bone.. The. constitute.a re.l public he.lth proble., which re.uire. the.ide.tification of the.factors inhe.e.t to this phe.ome.on for be.te. pre.e.tion, but also for quality manage.e.t of fracture. and se.ue.ae. Obje.tive.: We.e.to de.cribe.the.e.ide.iological, clinical and the.ape.tic profile.of pe.vic limb fracture. in Timbuktu Hospital. Patie.ts and Me.hod: We.conducte. a prospe.tive. de.criptive.study in the.Surge.y De.artme.t of Timbuktu Hospital, cove.ing a pe.iod of one.ye.r from January 1 to De.e.be. 31, 2017. We.colle.te. 39 patie.ts who pre.e.te. with fracture. of the.pe.vic limbs, who we.e.hospitalize. and monitore. throughout our study. Re.ults: We.obtaine. a hospital fre.ue.cy of 2.86% limb fracture.. Among the.39 patie.ts include. in our study, the.male.se. was pre.ominant in 69.2% of case., the.ave.age.age.of our patie.ts was 20.5 ye.rs. Pupils and stude.ts we.e.in the.majority in 48.7% of case.. Road traffic accide.ts we.e.the.most common cause.of fracture.with 59.0% of case.. The.tibia was the.most affe.te. se.me.t in 38.5% of case.. Surgical tre.tme.t was pre.ominant in 64.0% of case.. We.obtaine. ve.y good re.ults in 94.87% of case.. Conclusion: Limb fracture. re.ain fre.ue.t due.to road traffic accide.ts. Oste.synthe.is tre.tme.t provide. a good re.ult with fe.e. complications.
