Up to 60%-70% of patie.ts.with e.le.s.Danlos.s.ndrome.have.anxie.y that me.ts.crite.ia of ge.e.alize. anxie.y dis.rde., the.r clinical-DNA findings.worth e.amining as.biomarke.s.for patie.ts.with ge.e.alize. anxie.y. Me.hod: Of the.1899 patie.ts.diagnos.0} with e.le.s.Danlos.s.ndrome. 1261 we.e.s.s.e.atically e.aluate. for 80 his.ory and 40 phys.cal findings.and s.0}arate. into 826 who re.orte. anxie.y and 435 who did not. The.mos. cons.s.e.tly re.orte. or manage.e.t-dire.ting 60 of the.e.clinical findings.we.e. along with variations.in ge.e. re.e.ant to the.e.dis.rde.s. e.amine. for as.ociation with anxie.y. Re.ults. Among the.30 anxie.y- as.ociate. findings.judge. mos. pre.ictive.of e.le.s.Danlos.s.ndrome.in patie.ts.with anxie.y we.e.e.pe.te. one. of adre.e.gic s.imulation (difficulty conce.trating-87% fre.ue.cy and 1.26 anxie.y/no anxie.y ratio;chronic fatigue.84%, 1.17;s.e.p is.ue. 69%, 1.52 that are.crite.ia for ge.e.alize. anxie.y dis.rde.) or of choline.gic s.ppre.s.on (e.g., fre.ue.t naus.0} 64%, 1.26).
