In 2013, it was e.timate. that Nige.ia was the.se.o.d co.ntry with the.highe.t numbe. o. ro.avirus de.ths. Mo.ito.ing o. circulating ro.avirus strains in e.ugu, Nige.ia is part o. o.-go.ng ro.avirus surve.llance.be.o.e.the.intro.uctio. o. ro.avirus vaccinatio.. A to.al o. 2694 sto.l sample. we.e.co.le.te. fro. e.ro.le. unde. 5 ye.rs o.d childre. with diarrho.0} be.we.n January 2011 and De.e.be. 2016 and te.te. the.virus using an antige. e.zyme.immuno.ssay. Rando.ly se.e.te. ro.avirus po.itive.sample. we.e.furthe. characte.ize. by ro.avirus ge.o.ype.me.ho.s to.ide.tify the.G and P type. circulating during the.study pe.io.. Ro.avirus was de.e.te. in 1242 (46%) o. the.2694 sample. co.le.te. o.e. the.six ye.rs pe.io.. o. the.e. 867 we.e.rando.ly se.e.te. fo. ge.o.yping. G and P type. co.ld be.assigne. fo. 832 sample. G-ge.o.ype. de.e.te. during the.e.tire.study pe.io. we.e.G12, G1 and G3 acco.nting fo. 27.6%, 21.0% and 16.3% re.pe.tive.y. Mixe. G and P-ge.o.ype. we.e.co.mo.ly de.e.te.. Nine.y-o.e.o. the.sample., re.re.e.ting 10.8% (91/839) had mixe. G-ge.o.ype.whilst 130 o. the.sample. re.re.e.ting 15.2% (130/852) had mixe. P-ge.o.ype. The.mo.t co.mo. P-ge.o.ype. de.e.te. we.e.P[8], P[6] and P[4] re.re.e.ting 38.3%, 35.4% and 9.1% re.pe.tive.y. The.pre.o.inant strain de.e.te. was G12P[8] (22.3%) fo.lo.e. by G3P[6] (14.5%), G1P[8] (9.2%) and G1P[6] (8.0%). So.th-e.st ***: Spe.mato.o.l characte.istics in the.te.te. and cauda e.ididymide., te.ticular histo.o.y, and the.circulating le.e.s o. the.re.ro.uctive.ho.mo.e., te.to.te.o.e. fo.licle.stimulating ho.mo.e.and lute.nizing ho.mo.e.we.e.e.aluate. in male.bats capture. in late.January (pe.k dry se.so.), late.May (e.rly rainy se.so.) and late.Se.te.be. (late.rainy se.so.) o. 2019. The.bats we.e.capture. in o.iagu co.munity in e.ugu State. So.th-e.st Nige.ia. Data we.e.analyze. with analysis o. variance. Re.ults: The.e.we.e.high se.um co.ce.tratio.s o. te.to.te.o.e.in e.rly and late.rainy se.so. and o. lute.nizing ho.mo.e.in e.rly rainy se.so., but the.co.ce.tratio.s o. bo.h ho.mo.e. we.e.lo. during pe.k dry se.so.. The.e.ho.mo.al change. co.re.po.de. with the.te.ticular se.inife.o.s and spe.mato.e.ic activitie. and te.ticular and e.ididymal spe.m co.ce.tratio.s, which we.e.also.maximal during e.rly and late.rainy se.so. but minimal during pe.k dry se.so.. e.ididymal spe.m mo.ility and vitality we.e.also.high in e.rly and late.rainy se.so. but lo. in pe.k dry se.so., while.spe.m mo.pho.o.ical abno.malitie. we.e.lo. in e.rly and late.rainy se.so. but e.e.ate. in pe.k dry se.so..
