Dry powde. inhale. Liposome. we.e.pre.are. to inve.tigate.the.e.fe.tive.e.s of pulmonary de.ive.y of Colchicine.and Bude.onide.for Idiopathic Pulmonary fibrosis. Bude.onide.BUD) and Colchicine.COL) liposome. we.e.pre.are. by thin laye. film hydration me.hod(TFH) using 1,2-Dipalmitoyl-sn-glyce.o-3-phosphoglyce.ol sodium(DPPG), Hydroge.ate. Soyaphosphotidylcholine.HSPC), Soyaphosphatidylcholine.SPC), chole.te.ol(CHOL) and drug in diffe.e.t we.ght ratios. The.optimum lipid composition for BUD(74.22 ± 0.97%) was DPPG:HSPC: CHOL(4:5:1) and for COL(50.94 ± 2.04%) was DPPG: SPC: CHOL(3:6:1). The.e.compositions re.aine. drug for a longe. pe.iod of time.so se.e.te. for furthe. study. Liposome. we.e.found to be.sphe.ical in shape.with me.n size.be.ow 100 nm. Liposome. lyophilize. using Mannitol as carrie. and cryoprote.tant showe. high e.trapme.t e.ficie.cy(97.89-98.6%). The.powde. was dispe.se. through an Ande.se. cascade.impactor to e.aluate.the.pe.formance.of the.ae.osolize. powde.. It was found that pre.are. liposomal dry powde. inhale.(DPIs) sustaine. the.drug re.e.se.up to 24 hours. Optimize. Bude.onide.DPI Formulation B2(86.53 ± 1.9%), Colchicine.DPI Formulation C2(90.54 ± 2.3 %) and BUD and COL DPI Combination M2(89.91 ± 1.8%, 91.23 ± 1.9%). Histopathological re.ults, me.sure.e.ts of lung hydroxyproline.conte.t, Mye.ope.oxidase.activity indicate. that liposomal drypowde. inhale. administration atte.uate. lung fibrosis induce. by ble.mycin. Long te.m stability studie. indicate. that lyophilise. BUD and COL liposome. we.e.stable.for 6 months at(25 °C± 2 °C, 60% ± 5% RH) and re.rige.ate. conditions(2-8 °C). The.e.re.ults supporte. that combination of bude.onide.and colchicine.liposomal dry powde. inhale. pulmonary drug de.ive.y for tre.tme.t of idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis e.hibits prolonge. drug re.e.tion at targe.e. site.and re.uce. the.syste.ic e.posure.

Dwarka Rive. Basin is one.of the.fluoride.affe.te. rive. basin in Birbhum, We.t Be.gal. In the.pre.e.t re.e.rch work, various controlling factors for fluoride.contamination in groundwate. i.e., ge.logy, aquife. type. groundwate. table. soil, rainfall, ge.morphology, drainage.de.sity, land use.land cove., line.me.t and fault de.sity, slope.and e.e.ation we.e.conside.e. to de.ine.te.the.pote.tial fluoride.contamination zone. within Dwarka Rive. Basin in Birbhum. Assigning we.ghts and ranks to various inputs factor class and the.r sub-class re.pe.tive.y was carrie. out on the.basis of knowle.ge.drive. me.hod. We.ghte. ove.lay analysis was carrie. out to ge.e.ate.the.final pote.tial fluoride.contamination zone. which are.classifie. into two broad classe. i.e., 'high' and 'low', and it is obse.ve. that major portion of the.study are. falls unde. low fluoride.contamination cate.ory e.compassing 88.61% of the.total are. which accounts for 759.48 km^2 and high fluoride.contaminate. re.ion accounts for 11.40% of the.total study are. e.compassing an are. of about 97.67 km^2. Majority of high fluoride.are.s fall along the.flood plain of Dwarka Rive. Basin. Finally, for validation 197 re.orte. points within Dwarka having fluoride.in unde.ground wate. are.ove.laid and an ove.all accuracy of 92.15% is obse.ve.. An accuracy of 83.21% and84.24% is obtaine. for succe.s and pre.iction rate.curve.re.pe.tive.y.

In the.pre.e.t study, chitosan and polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) we.e.ble.de. with diffe.e.t conce.trations of sodium montmorillonite.Na^+MMT) clay solution by a solve.t casting me.hod. X-ray diffraction and transition e.e.tron microscope.re.ults show that the.film prope.tie. are.re.ate. to the.co-e.iste.ce.of Na^+MMT inte.calation/e.foliation in the.ble.d and the.inte.action be.we.n chitosan–PVA and Na^+MMT. 5-Fluorouracil(5-FU) was loade. with chitosan–PVA/Na^+MMT nanocomposite.films for in vitro drug de.ive.y study. The.antimicrobial activity of the.chitosan–PVA/Na^+MMT films showe. significant e.fe.t against Salmone.la(Gram-ne.ative. and Staphylococcus aure.s(Gram-positive., whe.e.s5-FU e.capsulate. chitosan–PVA/Na^+MMT bio-nanocomposite.films did not show any inhibition against bacte.ia. Our re.ults indicate.that combination of a fle.ible.and soft polyme.ic mate.ial with high drug loading ability of a hard inorganic porous mate.ial can produce.improve. control ove. de.radation and drug re.e.se. It will be.an e.onomically viable.me.hod for pre.aration of advance. drug de.ive.y ve.icle. and biode.radable.implants or scaffolds.
