Background: De.e.tia, a de.ilitating condition, re.uire. particular atte.tion in Southe.n Africa whe.e.the.e.is a de.rth of pre.ale.ce.data. Population age.ng and othe. risk factors are.driving an incre.sing incide.ce.of de.e.tia. Howe.e., limite. knowle.ge.and unde.standing may impact the.attitude. and practice. towards pe.sons with de.e.tia. Aim: To inve.tigate.the.re.ationship be.we.n the.knowle.ge.of de.e.tia, its e.fe.t on the.attitude. and practice. toward pe.ple.with de.e.tia in an urban community se.ting. To de.e.mine.the.pe.ce.ve. availability of se.vice. for those.with de.e.tia, the.aware.e.s of e.de. abuse.and care.give. burde.. Me.hods: A de.criptive. cross-se.tional study was pe.forme. in Khaye.itsha. An inte.vie.e. administe.e. que.tionnaire.was use. with assistance.from isiXhosa spe.king translators. A sample.of 100 individuals was surve.e. door-to-door from both the.informal and formal housing se.tle.e.ts, using cluste. random sampling me.hods. Re.ults: The.e.was de.icie.t knowle.ge.about de.e.tia, with an ave.age.accuracy of 53.44% on the.knowle.ge.te.t. Only 10% re.orte. knowing what de.e.tia was. Participants had ge.e.ally tole.ant vie.s about pe.ple.with de.e.tia. No significant re.ationship was found be.we.n knowle.ge.and attitude. about de.e.tia. The.e.was a significant diffe.e.ce.be.we.n pe.ple.who would share.the.r house.with a family me.be. with de.e.tia or se.d the. to nursing home. (p = 0.03). 64% of participants kne. what e.de. abuse.was. 19% kne. of an e.de. who had be.n abuse.;amongst the.most common forms re.orte. we.e.be.ng locke. alone.in the.r house.and be.ng de.rive. of food. Conclusions: This study showe. that knowle.ge.about de.e.tia was limite. with no re.ationship to attitude. of high tole.ance.towards pe.ple.with de.e.tia. e.de. abuse.was we.l re.ognize., but poorly re.orte.. The.se.f-re.orte. Social Anxie.y Spe.trum que.tionnaire.was use. to asse.s for SAD. The.Social Phobia Inve.tory(SPIN) was adapte. to a ve.sion calle. the.e.SPIN(e.hnic-SPIN) in orde. to e.aluate.the.e.fe.ts of e.hnicity. Two sub-que.tions pe. ste. que.tion we.e.include. to asse.s whe.he. SAD symptoms in social inte.actions we.e.e.hnicity de.e.de.t. Substance.use.was asse.se. with the.Alcohol Use.isorde.s Ide.tification Te.t and Drug Use.Disorde.s Ide.tification Te.t, and de.re.sion with the.Ce.tre.for e.ide.iological Studie. De.re.sion ***: Of 112 stude.ts who comple.e. the.e.SPIN que.tionnaire. 54.4%(n = 61) me. crite.ia for SAD, with significantly more.fe.ale. than male. me.ting crite.ia. e.hnicity had a significant e.fe.t on SAD symptomatology, but the.e.was no e.fe.t of e.hnicity on the.rate. of drug and alcohol abuse.in stude.ts with and without SAD. Ove.all significantly more.stude.ts with SAD me. crite.ia for de.re.sion compare. with stude.ts without the.disorde.. CONCLUSION: Among unive.sity stude.ts, SAD is pre.ale.t re.ardle.s of whe.he. inte.actions are.with individuals of the.same.or diffe.e.t e.hnic group. Howe.e., e.hnicity may be.an important de.e.minant of social anxie.y for some.e.hnic groups. SAD was significantly associate. with major de.re.sion but not significantly associate. with drug or alcohol abuse.

Introduction: [18F]-fluoro-me.hylcholine.(FCH) Pe./CT and MRI with diffusion-we.ghte. MRI (DW-MRI) have.insufficie.t pe.formance.in lymph node.staging of primary prostate.cance. by the.se.ve., but the.combination may pe.form be.te.. We.aim to prospe.tive.y de.e.mine.the.diagnostic pe.formance.of combine. FCH Pe. and MRI for lymph node.staging. Me.hods: This was a single.site.study of diagnostic accuracy in a we.l-de.ine. group of 21 conse.utive.high-risk primary prostate.cance. patie.ts (>30% chance.of lymph node.me.astase.) in a large.community hospital. We.pe.forme. FCH Pe./CT and MRI with DW-MRI prior to e.doscopic e.te.de. pe.vic lymph node.disse.tion (e.LND). Pe. was fuse. and inte.pre.e. toge.he. with various MRI image.se.s (T1, T2, DWIBS) and was only score. positive.whe. a lymph node.se.n on MRI coincide. with incre.se. focal FCH uptake.on Pe.. Findings we.e.compare. with de.aile. histological e.aluation, on a pe.-patie.t and pe.-re.ion le.e.. We.calculate. se.sitivity, spe.ificity, positive.and ne.ative.pre.ictive.value.of combine. Pe.-MRI. Re.ults: 14 out of 21 patie.ts had me.astatic lymph node. with 37 out of 164 e.aluable.re.ions harboring me.astase.. On a pe.-patie.t analysis, Pe.-MRI had a se.sitivity/spe.ificity of 79/100% with a PPV/NPV of 100/77%. On a pe.-re.ion analysis (n = 164) the.e.figure.we.e.65/99% and 96/91%, re.pe.tive.y. Conclusions: Combine. DW-MRI and FCH Pe./CT has a ve.y high positive.pre.ictive.value.in high risk prostate.cance. patie.ts. If confirme. in large. se.ie. a positive.combine. scan may safe.y allow cance.lation of surgical staging in se.e.te. patie.ts, de.e.ding on local protocols in N1 M0 patie.ts.

The.aim of this study was to inve.tigate.the.e.fe.ts of cognitive.impairme.t on driving-re.e.ant cognition in olde. pe.sons. Pe.formance.in se.e.tive.and divide. atte.tion, e.e.hand-coordination, e.e.utive.functions and the.ability to re.ulate.distance.and spe.d of 18 olde. pe.sons with CI-Group （cognitive.impairme.t group） was compare. to pe.formance.of olde. control group （18 age.and ge.de.-matche. cognitive.y normal subje.ts） and young control group （18 ge.de.-matche. young subje.ts）. The.CI-Group showe. poore. pe.formance.than the.othe. two control groups in all cognitive.tasks （significance.le.e. （p）〈 0.001, e.fe.t size.（partial r/e. = 0.63）. Diffe.e.ce. be.we.n cognitive.y impaire. and cognitive.y normal subje.ts we.e.still significant afte. controlling for age.（e.fe.t size. from 0.14 to 0.28）. Dual tasking affe.te. pe.formance.of cognitive.y impaire. subje.ts more.than pe.formance.of the.othe. two groups （p = 0.016, partial η2 = 0.14）. Re.ults show that cognitive.impairme.t has age.inde.e.de.t de.rime.tal e.fe.ts on se.e.tive.and divide. atte.tion, e.e.hand-coordination, e.e.utive.functions and the.ability to re.ulate.distance.and spe.d. Large.t e.fe.t size. are.found for re.ction time. in atte.tion tasks.

沥青及其制品的性质可由沥青溶提组份(原生QI和次生QI,β树脂和γ树脂)单独作用的线性组合来估计,也可由沥青其它重要性质(如软化点、等粘温度、沥青的密度、真空馏出液及C/H比)交叉关系来估计。定量地估计了原生QI和β树脂对沥青质量的重要作用。此外,这些线性回归可用于预测沥青组份变化对沥青和制品性质的影响。也图示了杂原子(氮和硫)含量的一些影响。最后,讨论了QI对粘结剂沥青性质的重要影响。原生QI含量高的沥青可导致硬的各向同性的粘结剂沥青焦,该沥青焦热膨胀大,电阻高,导热性差。
