Li.tle.i. known about the.pe.ce.ti.n of pre.nant wome. about obste.ri. fi.tula and thi. group of wome. are.those.who are.at ri.k of the.di.e.se. Our ai. the.e.ore.was to e.aluate.the.le.e. of aware.e.s of ve.i.ovagi.al fi.tula among pre.nant wome. atte.di.g ante.atal cli.i. i. a rural hospi.al. Me.hodology: Thi. was a cross se.ti.nal study conducte. at Mi.e.4 mi.si.nary Hospi.al, Abakali.i. be.we.n 1st of May and 1st of July, 2017. Data was colle.te. wi.h the.use.of que.ti.nnai.e. e.hi.al cle.rance.was gotte. from the.i.sti.uti.ns e.hi.al commi.te.. Re.ults: The.r me.n age.was 27 ± 5 ye.rs and me.n pari.y was 2 ± 2. Aware.e.s of ve.i.ovagi.al fi.tula was 57.8%. Ri.k factors i.e.ti.i.0} for ve.i.ovagi.al fi.tula we.e.prolonge. obstructe. labour, i.strume.tal vagi.al de.i.e.y, cae.are.n se.ti.n and short stature. Only 80 (39.2%) be.i.0}e. ve.i.ovagi.al fi.tula could be.tre.te.. Conclusi.n: Aware.e.s of ve.i.ovagi.al fi.tula i. the.study populati.n was 57.8%. The.r age.range. from 14 to 43 wi.h a me.n age.of 27 ± 5 ye.rs. One.hundre. and se.e.ty two wome. (82.3%) have.he.rd of cae.are.n se.ti.n i. the.past. e.ghte.n (8.6%) have.had cae.are.n se.ti.n i. the.past whi.e.5 we.e.not wi.li.g to unde.go the.proce.ure.agai.. Si.ty (28.7%) are.not wi.li.g to unde.go cae.are.n se.ti.n e.e. whe. i. i. i.di.ate.. Conclusi.n: De.pi.e.aware.e.s of cae.are.n se.ti.n, wome. do not appe.r to have.a posi.i.e.atti.ude.towards the.proce.ure.
