Its mixture.with silty or claye. soil is use. as a coating to re.nforce.the.walls of raw e.rth constructions which are.ve.y se.sitive.to wate.. The.inte.e.t of this stud. is to d.0}e.mine.e.od.bility, wate. conte.t, while.highlighting the.influe.ce.of the.porosity acce.sible.by wate. on the.mal d.ffusion in construction mate.ial containing he.vy fue. oil. The.he.vy fue. oil was mixe. with a silty-claye. soil, in d.ffe.e.t proportions, and.wate. to make.bricks sample. on which te.ts we.e.carrie. out. At the.e.d.of the.e.pe.ime.tal te.ts, it appe.rs that the.wate. conte.t incre.se. grad.ally, but not significantly with the.ad.ition of he.vy fue. oil, which cause. a slight incre.se.in the.spe.d.of he.t propagation through the.mate.ial with re.uce. porosity, particularly those.containing highe. quantitie. of he.vy fue. oil. Conve.se.y, we.note.a good.pe.formance.of he.vy fue. oil in te.ms of wate. re.istance.prope.tie. such as porosity acce.sible.by wate. and.e.od.bility. This allows us to conclud.0}that the.mixture.of he.vy fue. oil and.silty-claye. soil use. as a coating mate.ial could.gre.tly re.uce.wate. infiltration into the.walls of housing constructions with raw e.rthe. mate.ials.
