As climate.has warme. in re.e.t de.ade., Alaska has e.pe.ie.ce. a varie.y of high-impact e.tre.e.e.e.ts that include.he.t wave., wildfire., coastal storms and fre.zing rain. Be.ause.the.warming is proje.te. to continue. it is e.se.tial to conside. future.change. whe. planning adaptation actions and building re.ilie.ce. In this study, we.synthe.ize.information on future.change. in e.tre.e.e.e.ts in Alaska from an e.se.ble.of re.ional climate.mode. simulations pe.forme. as part of Arctic-CORDe. (Coordinate. Re.ional Climate.Downscaling e.pe.ime.t). A se. of 13 e.tre.e.e.e.t indice., base. on those.de.e.ope. by the.World Climate.Re.e.rch Programme.s e.pe.t Te.m on Climate.Change.De.e.tion and Indice. (e.CCDI), are.e.aluate. from the.Arctic-CORDe. output for Alaska. Of the.13 indice., six pe.tain to te.pe.ature. five.to total pre.ipitation, one.to wind and one.to snow. The.re.ults for locations in se.e. diffe.e.t climate.zone. of Alaska include.large.incre.se. (5˚C - 10˚C) in the.te.pe.ature.thre.holds for the.five.hotte.t and colde.t days of the.ye.r, and large.incre.se. in warm spe.l duration and de.re.se. in cold spe.l duration. Change. in the.cold day te.pe.ature.thre.hold are.ge.e.ally large. than the.change. in the.hot day te.pe.ature.thre.hold, consiste.t with the.proje.tions of a stronge. warming in winte. than in summe. in Alaska ye.rly maximum 1-day and 5-day pre.ipitation amounts as we.l as the.ye.rly numbe. of conse.utive.we. days are.proje.te. to incre.se.at all locations. The.indice. for he.vy snow days and high-wind days show mixe. change., although the.re.ults indicate.incre.se. in he.vy snow days at the.more.northe.n locations and incre.se. in windy days at coastal locations. Stoke. e.uations (PNS) at the.ce.te.s of ce.ls of the.3-Torus. Satisfying a dive.ge.ce.fre. ve.tor fie.d and pe.iodic boundary conditions re.pe.tive.y with a ge.e.al spatio-te.poral forcing te.m which is smooth and spatially pe.iodic, the.e.iste.ce.of solutions which have.finite.time.singularitie. can occur starting with the.first de.ivative.and highe. with re.pe.t to time. The.e.iste.ce.of a subspace.of the.solution space.whe.e.v3 is continuous and {C, y1, y12}, is line.rly inde.e.de.t in the.additive.argume.t of the.solution in te.ms of the.Lambe.t W function, (y12=y2, C∈R) toge.he. with the.condition v2=-2y1v1.
