b.ckground: Some.e.ide.ce.has shown that the.pre.ale.ce.of hypoactive.se.ual de.ire.and e.e.tile.dysfunction (e.) is associate. with te.toste.one.le.e.s whilst highe. le.e.s of te.toste.one.have.b.0}n re.orte. to incre.se.the.fre.ue.cy of inte.course. Availab.e.e.ide.ce.points towards an e.iologic role.for hypogonadism in the.causation of diab.0}e., me.ab.lic syndrome.(Me.s) and se.ual dysfunction (SD) e.e. though the.e.act pathophysiological linkage.is ye. to b.0}fully e.ucidate.. This study the.e.ore.sought to e.aluate.the.impact of te.toste.one.as we.l as its b.oactive.compone.ts on b.th the.Me.S and SD. Me.hod: Diab.0}ic me. e.gage. in a stab.e.he.e.ose.ual re.ationship for at le.st 2 ye.rs we.e.re.ruite. for this study. Participants we.e.at le.st 18 ye.rs and provide. an informe. and signe. conse.t to partake.in this study. Fasting b.ood sample. we.e.take. from the.participants for b.oche.ical and hormonal assay. The.participants we.e.the. e.aluate. using the.Golomb.k Rust Inve.tory of Se.ual Satisfaction for male. (GRISS-M). Me.ab.lic syndrome.was asse.se. using the.NCe.-ATP III, IDF and WHO crite.ia. All data analyse. we.e.pe.forme. using the.SPSS software. ve.sion 11.0 systat, Inc. Ge.many and GraphPad Prism, ve.sion 5.0, San Die.o California, USA. Re.ults: The.me.n total, fre. and b.oavailab.e.te.toste.one.as we.l as SHb. re.orde. among the.participants was 7.10 ± 1.23 ng/ml, 0.10 ± 0.01 ng/ml, 7.01 ± 1.41 ng/ml and 4.33 ± 1.12 nmol/l re.pe.tive.y. This study is a contrib.tion to improving rice.productivity on acidic plate.u soils of the.tropical rainfore.t zone. It is b.se. on taking into account the.cationic b.lance. of the.soil in orde. to optimize.the.phosphorus (P) nutrition of rice.on the.e.acidic soils, whe.e.this nutrie.t constitute. a limiting factor for agricultural production. Thre. (3) pot trials we.e.conducte. in Adiopodoumé in the.fore.te. south of Côte.d’Ivoire. The.inte.active.e.fe.ts of calcium carb.nate.(0, 25, 50 and 75 kg Ca ha−1) and magne.ium sulfate.(0, 25, 50 and 75 kg Mg ha−1) we.e.e.aluate. on the.re.ponse.of Ne.ICA 5 rice.at dose. 0, 25, 50 and 75 kg P ha−1 of natural phosphate.from Togo, applie. only once.at the.start of the.e.pe.ime.t. Additional fe.tilize.s of nitroge. (N) (100 kg N ha−1) and potassium (K) (50 kg KCl ha−1) we.e.adde. to e.ch of the.te.ts in a split-plot de.ice. The.te.t re.ults re.e.le. a paddy production pote.tial of approximate.y 3 to 5 t⋅ha−1 for Ne.ICA 5 on an acidic soil, unde. the.e.fe.t of the.inte.action of P, Ca and Mg. Outcome.(magnitude. se.sitivity, a late.t de.ision-making parame.e. de.ive. from computationally mode.ing succe.sive.choice. in a gamb.ing task, was also associate. with se.f-care.b.0}avior. This study was pe.forme. to asse.s the.root hormonal accumulation and ge.e.e.pre.sion in re.ponse.to Al toxicity in five.transge.ic miniature.dwarf tomatoe. cv. Micro-Tom (MT). MT and MT transge.ics to acid indole.ace.ic, cytokinin, gib.e.e.lin, ab.cisic acid and e.hyle.e.we.e.cultivate. in nutrie.t solutions containing diffe.e.t Al conce.trations. Root growth e.ongation was me.sure. and ce.lular damage.was visualize. b. staining e.ans’s b.ue. The.GUS re.orte. ge.e.staining te.hnique.was use. to visualize.hormonal change. in MT ape. root tissue.. Data indicate. that the.MT is se.sitive.to Al that induce. significant growth inhib.tion and ce.lular damage. Al conce.tration of 27 μM was significantly toxic, inducing root ape. darke.ing and inhib.tion of root de.e.opme.t.
