(≤ 30 m), with manage.s both adapting the.r prac.ic.0} to e.isting variation in soils and te.rain (e.g., fe.tile.plains vs. infe.tile.slope.) and also alte.ing soil fe.tility and e.e. te.rain by te.rac.ng, irrigation, fe.tilizing, and othe. land use.prac.ic.0}. Re.ationships be.we.n fine.sc.le.land manage.e.t patte.ns and soil organic.c.rbon (SOc. in the.top 30 c. of village.soils we.e.studie. by sampling soils within fine.sc.le.landsc.pe.fe.ture. using a re.ionally we.ghte. landsc.pe.sampling de.ign ac.oss five.e.vironme.tally distinc. site. in c.ina. SOc.stoc.s ac.oss c.ina’s village.re.ions (5 Pg c.in the.top 30 c. of 2 × 10 6 km 2 ) re.re.e.t roughly 4% of the.total SOc.stoc.s in global c.oplands. Although mac.oc.imate.varie. from te.pe.ate.to tropic.l in this study, SOc.de.sity did not vary signific.ntly with c.imate. though it was ne.ative.y c.rre.ate. with re.ional me.n e.e.ation. The.highe.t SOc.de.sitie. within landsc.pe. we.e.found in agric.ltural lands, e.pe.ially paddy, the.lowe.t SOc.de.sitie. we.e.found in nonproduc.ive.lands, and fore.t lands te.de. toward mode.ate.SOc.de.sitie.. Due.to the.high SOc.de.sitie. of agric.ltural lands and the.r pre.ominanc.0}in village.landsc.pe., most village.SOc.was found in agric.ltural land, e.c.0}t in the.tropic.l hilly re.ion, whe.e.fore.try ac.ounte. for about 45% of the.SOc.stoc.s. A surprisingly large.portion of village.SOc.was assoc.ate. with built struc.ure. and with the.disturbe. lands surrounding the.e.struc.ure., ranging from > 18% in the.North c.ina Plain to about 9% in the.tropic.l hilly re.ion. 基于IKONOS高分辨率（1m）卫星遥感图,根据生态立地分层分类规则,评价了四川盆地、江南山地和华南山地等典型丘陵区人口密集的乡村景观结构对0-30c.土壤有机碳（SOc.、全氮（TN）和全磷（TP）密度及储量的影响.结果表明：SOc.度的面积加权平均值为江南山地丘陵（2.72±0.76kg·m^-2）〉华南山地丘陵（2.65±0.73kg·m^-2）〉四川盆地丘陵（2.15±0.57kg·m^-2）;TN密度的面积加权平均值为江南山地丘陵（0.28±0.06kg·m^-2）〉四川盆地丘陵（0.27±0.06kg·m^-2）〉华南山地丘陵（0.21±0.06kg·m^-2）;TP密度的面积加权平均值为四川盆地丘陵（0.19±0.04kg·m^-2）〉江南山地丘陵（0.11±0.03kg·m^-2）〉华南山地丘陵（0.08±0.04kg·m^-2）.四川盆地、江南山地和华南山地丘陵SOc.TN和TP储量最高的生态立地类型分别为小规模1年生旱地作物、两季水田和斜坡次生阔叶疏林.SOc.TN密度均以水田或林地最高,而以低覆盖度的挖掘地和山顶旱地最低,TP密度的分布较为复杂.细微尺度的生态立地水平分析可以较好地反映出丘陵区人口密集乡村景观地区的生态结构和SOc.TN、TP的分布情况.

Upon se.e.tion of a rainfall gauge. we.re.lize. that the.c.st of using, for e.ample. a tipping buc.e.-type.rain gauge.would be.too e.pe.sive.and thus se.rc.e. for an alte.native.me.hod. We.se.e.te. an all-in-one.c.mme.c.ally available.we.the. station;he.e.fte., re.e.re. to as a Pe.sonal We.the. Station (PWS) that is both wire.e.s and solar powe.e.. Our obje.tive.was to e.aluate.ave.age.me.sure.e.ts of rainfall obtaine. with the.PWS and to c.mpare.the.e.to me.sure.e.ts obtaine. with an automatic.we.the. station (AWS).
