Present of wind power is sporadically and cannot be utilized as the only fundamental load of energy *** paper proposes a wind-solar hybrid energy storage system(HeSS)to ensure a stable supply grid for a longer period.A multi-objective genetic algorithm(MOGA)and state of charge(SOC)region division for the batteries are introduced to solve the objective function and configuration of the system capacity,***/Simulink was used for simulation *** optimization results show that for a 0.5 MW wind power and 0.5 MW photovoltaic system,with a combination of a 300 Ah lithium battery,a 200 Ah lead-acid battery,and a water storage tank,the proposed strategy reduces the system construction cost by approximately 18,000 ***,the cycle count of the electrochemical energy storage systemincreases from4515 to 4660,while the depth of discharge decreases from 55.37%to 53.65%,achieving shallow charging and discharging,thereby extending battery life and reducing grid voltage fluctuations *** proposed strategy is a guide for stabilizing the grid connection of wind and solar power generation,capability allocation,and energy management of energy conservation systems.

FeA-Sketch: flow entries assisted sketch for heavy flow detection in software-defined networking

Software-defined networking decouples the control plane from the data plane to enable centralized flow-level network management, while requiring periodically collecting traffic statistics from the data plane to enforce optimal management. As one of the most important traffic measurement tasks, heavy flow detection has received wide attention for its providing fundamental statistics in various practical applications. existing studies have proposed sketch-based detection solutions to address the mismatch problem between massive traffic and limited high-speed memory resources for measurement in the data plane. However,they overlook the potential of integrating the flow table, where each entry simultaneously enforces forwarding rules for specific flows and records flow statistics into the sketch design, leading to redundant measurement between the flow table and sketch and being unable to utilize their statistics to jointly enhance estimation accuracy. We propose flow entries assisted sketch(FeA-Sketch) in this work, which employs a differentiated flow recording strategy to record flow statistics jointly using the flow table and sketch for memory-efficient and computationally efficient heavy flow detection. We also propose an optimization-based estimation algorithm to accurately recover per-flow sizes for the flows that only have aggregated statistics due to the sharing of entries in the table(or counters in the sketch). We extend the FeA-Sketch to the distributed measurement setting with a hop-based collaborative measurement strategy, which reduces the measurement workload on switches across the network by avoiding redundant measurements. The experimental results on real Internet traces show that the accuracy of heavy flow detection is improved up to 1.95 times, and the bias of flow size estimation is improved up to 2.99 times, demonstrating that integrating flow entries can significantly improve the performance of heavy flow detection.

Liposarcoma is one of the most common soft tissue sarcomas,however,its occurrence rate is still rare compared to other *** to its rarity,in vitro experiments are an essential approach to elucidate liposarcoma *** cell culture-based research(2D cell culture)is still playing a pivotal role,while several shortcomings have been recently under *** vivo,mouse models are usually adopted for pre-clinical analyses with expectations to overcome the issues of 2D cell ***,they do not fully recapitulate human dedifferentiated liposarcoma(DDLPS)***,three-dimensional(3D)culture systems have been the recent research focus in the cell biology field with the expectation to overcome at the same time the disadvantages of 2D cell culture and in vivo animal models and fill in the gap between *** the liposarcoma rarity,we believe that 3D cell culture techniques,including 3D cell cultures/co-cultures,and Patient-Derived tumor Organoids(PDOs),represent a promising approach to facilitate liposarcoma investigation and elucidate its molecular mechanisms and effective therapy *** this review,we first provide a general overview of 3D cell cultures compared to 2D cell *** then focus on one of the recent 3D cell culture applications,Patient-Derived Organoids(PDOs),summarizing and discussing several PDO ***,we discuss the current and future applications of PDOs to sarcoma,particularly in the field of liposarcoma.

Contribution of China's carbon budget on global radiative forcing

China is the world's largest carbon dioxide（CO2） emitter and a major trading country. Both anthropogenic and natural factors play a critical role in its carbon budget. However,previous studies mostly focus on evaluating anthropogenic emissions or the natural carbon cycle separately, and few included trade-related（import and export） CO2emissions and its contribution on global warming. Using the CarbonTracker CT2019 assimilation dataset and China trade emissions from the Global Carbon Project, we found that the change trend of global CO2flux had obvious spatial heterogeneity, which is mainly affected by anthropogenic CO2flux. From 2000 to 2018, carbon emissions from fossil fuels in the world and in China all showed an obvious increasing trend, but the magnitude of the increase tended to slow *** 2018, the radiative forcing（RF） caused by China's import and export trade was-0.0038 W m-2, and the RF caused by natural carbon budget was-0.0027 W m-2, offsetting 1.54% and 1.13% of the RF caused by fossil fuels that year, respectively. From 2000 to 2018, the contribution of China's carbon emission from fossil fuels to global RF was 11.32%. Considering China's import and export trade, the contribution of anthropogenic CO2emission to global RF decreased to 9.50%. Furthermore, taking into account the offset of carbon sink from China's terrestrial ecosystems, the net contribution of China to global RF decreased to 7.63%. This study demonstrates that China's terrestrial ecosystem and import and export trade are all mitigating China's impact on global anthropogenic warming, and also confirms that during the research process on climate change, comprehensively considering the carbon budget from anthropogenic and natural carbon budgets is necessary to systematically understand the impacts of regional or national carbon budgets on global warming.

The southeastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau is a crucial region to understand the mechanisms of plateau uplift and deformation. This region is seismically active and has experienced multiple large earthquakes, resulting in significant human and economic losses. Constructing velocity and anisotropic tomography models is crucial for understanding the seismogenic mechanism and deep structural deformation in this area. In this study, we extract high-quality P-wave first-arrival data from the earthquake catalog of the China earthquake Administration and use them to construct both common-receiver and commonsource differential traveltime datasets. We then apply a novel adjoint-state traveltime tomography approach to obtain new Pwave velocity and azimuthal anisotropy models for the region. This method eliminates the need for ray tracing, thereby reducing the potential bias from the ray theory and ray tracing. A comparison between our results and previous imaging models and shearwave splitting measurements reveals several new details. The results indicate weak anisotropy in the shallow depth of the central Chuandian block. Two low-velocity anomalies are identified beneath the Songpan-Ganzi and Lijiang-Xiaojinhe fault zones, as well as beneath the Xiaojiang Fault. The distinct anisotropic characteristics of these two low-velocity anomalies suggest different tectonic contexts: Beneath the Songpan-Ganzi and Lijiang-Xiaojinhe fault zones, the azimuthal anisotropy aligns north-south and northeast-southwest, while beneath the Xiaojiang Fault, it aligns northwest-southeast. In addition, the anisotropy of the upper mantle in the southern part of the study area has a significant east-west feature. The earthquake relocation results reveal intensified seismic activity in regions with significant velocity contrasts and near fault zones. This article describes a pilot study aiming at generating social interactions between a humanoid robot and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), through the practice of a gesture imitation game. The participants were a 17-year-old young lady with ASD and intellectual deficit, and a control participant: a preadolescent with ASD but no intellectual deficit (Asperger syndrome). The game is comprised of four phases: greetings, pairing, imitation, and closing. Field educators were involved, playing specific roles: visual or physical inciter. The use of a robot allows for catching the participants’ attention, playing the imitation game for a longer period of time than with a human partner, and preventing the game partner’s negative facial expressions resulting from tiredness, impatience, or boredom. The participants’ behavior was observed in terms of initial approach towards the robot, positioning relative to the robot in terms of distance and orientation, reactions to the robot’s voice or moves, signs of happiness, and imitation attempts. Results suggest a more and more natural approach towards the robot during the sessions, as well as a higher level of social interaction, based on the variations of the parameters listed above. We use these preliminary results to draw the next steps of our research work as well as identify further perspectives, with this aim in mind: improving social interactions with adolescents with ASD and intellectual deficit, allowing for better integration of these people into our societies.

This study was conducted to investigate the properties of Pr3+-Dy3+doped Zn2Y-type hexaferrite for potential technological applications.X-ray diffraction（XRD）,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FTIR） and field-emission scanning electron microscopy（FeSeM） were used to analyze structural *** crystallite size in the synthesized samples varies between 57.54 and 68.57 *** vibrational bands at 400 and 600 cm-1,common to all hexaferrites,were confirmed through *** FeSeM analysis reveals an agglomeration of magnetic grains and a decrease in the average grain size from 1.24 to1.06 μ*** M-H loops show that,with x values of 0.0,0.1,and 0.2,the saturation magnetization is determined to be 34.76,34.23,and 32.52 emu/g,*** corresponding coercivity values are21.24,30.39,and 33.99 ***-visible spectroscopy using Tauc theory reveals an increase in the optical band gap from 2.32 to 2.50 eV,indicating a tunable energy band structure by incorporating Pr3+-Dy3+*** dielectric constant increases,whereas AC conductivity decreases with increased Pr3+-Dy3+*** obtained results suggest the potential suitability of these materials for various technological applications.
