Preparation of a functional fracturing fluid with temperature-and salt-resistance,and low damage using a double crosslinking network

Fracturing fluids(FFs)have been widely used to stimulate the tight ***,current FFs will not only lose their rheological property at high temperatures and high salt but also show an incomplete gel-breaking ***,a double crosslinking network FF with pretty superiorities in rheology and low damage to the core was constructed by introducing both physical crosslinking and chemical crosslinking into the *** construction of double crosslinking networks enhanced the rheology of this functional *** particle sizes of gel-breaking fluids are mainly distributed in 1.0e10,000 nm;furthermore,for every 10,000 mg/L increase in salinity,the particle size of the gel-breaking fluid is decreased by almost *** adsorption capacity(mg/g)gradually decreased with the increase of salinity at 20℃.moreover,the adsorption of gel-breaking fluids on the rock decreased first and then kept stable with temperature increasing at a salinity of ≤30,000 mg/L,however,showed the opposite trend at 40,000 mg/*** results of rheology,particle size,static adsorption,and core damage showed that this functional FF could be an alternative for the stimulation of a tight reservoir with high temperature and recycling of produced water with high salinity.

Three-dimensional thermohaline anomaly structures of rings in the Kuroshio extension region

Using AVISO satellite altimeter observations during 1993–2015 and a manual eddy detection method, a total of 276 anticyclonic rings and 242 cyclonic rings shed from the Kuroshio extension(Ke) were identified, and their three-dimensional(3D) anomaly structures were further reconstructd based on the Argo float data and the Japan Agency for marine-earth Science and Technology(JAmSTeC) cruise and buoy data through an interpolation method. It is found that the cyclonic(anticyclonic) rings presented consistent negative(positive) anomalies of potential temperature;meanwhile the relevant maximum anomaly center became increasingly shallow for the cyclonic rings whereas it went deeper for the anticyclonic rings as the potential temperature anomaly decreased from the west to the east. The above deepening or shoaling trend is associated with the zonal change of the depth of the main thermocline. moreover, the composite cold ring between 140° and 150°e was found to exhibit a double-core vertical structure due to the existence of mode water with low potential vorticity. Specifically, a relatively large negative(positive) salinity anomaly and a small positive(negative) one appeared for the composite cyclonic(anticyclonic) ring at the depth above and below 600 m, respectively. The underlying driving force for the temperature and salinity anomaly of the composite rings was also attempted, which varies depending on the intensity of the background current and the temperature and salinity fields in different areas of the Ke region, and the rings’ influences on the temperature and salinity could reach deeper than 1 000 m on average.

Objective This study aimed to determine the HIV-1 subtype distribution and HIV drug resistance(HIVDR)in patients with ART failure from 2014 to 2020 in Hainan,*** A 7-year cross-sectional study was conducted among HIV/AIDS patients with ART failure in *** used online subtyping tools and the maximum likelihood phylogenetic tree to confirm the HIV subtypes with pol *** resistance mutations(DRms)were analyzed using the Stanford University HIV Drug Resistance *** A total of 307 HIV-infected patients with ART failure were included,and 241 available pol sequences were *** 241 patients,CRF01_Ae accounted for 68.88%,followed by CRF07_BC(17.00%)and eight other subtypes(14.12%).The overall prevalence of HIVDR was 61.41%,and the HIVDR against non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors(NNRTIs),nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitors(NRTIs),and protease inhibitors(PIs)were 59.75%,45.64%,and 2.49%,*** patients,hypoimmunity or opportunistic infections in individuals,and samples from 2017 to 2020 increased the odd ratios of ***,HIVDR was less likely to affect female *** common DRms to NNRTIs were K103N(21.99%)and Y181C(20.33%),and m184V(28.21%)and K65R(19.09%)were the main DRms against *** The present study highlights the HIV-1 subtype diversity in Hainan and the importance of HIVDR surveillance over a long period.

Polyethylene oxide(PeO)-based solid polymer electrolytes(SPes)with flexibility,easy processability,low cost and especially strong ability to dissolve lithium salts have been regarded as promising alternatives to traditional flammable liquid electrolytes in next-generation highsafety and high-energy-density lithium metal ***,the inferior mechanical strength and thermostability of PeO-based SPes will raise the lithium dendritic penetration issue,further leading to the short circuit in *** this work,aiming at enhancing the interfacial stability against Li dendrites of PeO-based SPes,poly(mphenylene isophthalamide)(PmIA)is introduced as a reinforcing phase for the rational design of PeO/PmIA composite ***,PmIA chain with meta-type benzene-amide linkages significantly improves the mechanical strength(1.60 mPa),thermal stability(260℃)and ability to inhibit the growth of lithium dendrites(>300 h at 0.1 mA·cm^(-2))of ***,allsolid-state LiFePO_(4)‖PeO/PmlA‖Li cell demonstrates superior electrochemical performance in terms of high specific capacity(159.1 mAh·g^(-1)),remarkable capacity retention(82.2%after 200 cycles at 0.5 C)and excellent safety *** burning or explosion occurs under pressing,bending and cutting *** work opens a new door in developing high-performance PeObased electrolytes for advanced all-solid-state lithium metal batteries.

Compact object candidates with K/m-dwarf companions from LAmOST low-resolution survey

Searching for compact objects(black holes,neutron stars,or white dwarfs)in the milky Way is essential for understanding the stellar evolution history,the physics of compact objects,and the structure of our *** objects in binaries with a luminous stellar companion are perfect targets for optical *** compact objects can be achieved by monitoring the radial velocities of the companion ***,most of the spectroscopic telescopes usually obtain stellar spectra at a relatively low efficiency,which makes a sky survey for millions of stars practically *** efficiency of a large-scale spectroscopic survey,the Large Sky Area multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopy Telescope(LAmOST),presents a specific opportunity to search for compact object candidates,i.e.,simply from the spectroscopic ***-type K/m stars are the most abundant populations in our *** to the relatively large Keplerian velocities in the close binaries with a K/m-dwarf companion,a hidden compact object could be discovered and followed-up more *** this study,compact object candidates with K/mdwarf companions are investigated with the LAmOST low-resolution stellar *** on the LAmOST Data Release 5,we obtained a sample of 56 binaries,each containing a K/m-dwarf with a large radial velocity variation △VR>150 km s^(-1).Complemented with the photometric information from the Transiting exoplanet Survey Satellite,we derived a sample of 35 compact object candidates,among which,the orbital periods of 16 sources were revealed by the light *** two sources as examples,we confirmed that a compact object existed in the two systems by fitting the radial velocity *** study demonstrates the principle and the power of searching for compact objects through LAmOST.

Constraints on axion-like particles with different magnetic field models from the PKS 2155–304 energy spectrum

Axion-like particles(ALPs) are a promising kind of dark matter candidate particle that are predicted to couple with photons in the presence of magnetic fields. The oscillations between photons and ALPs traveling in the magnetic fields have been used to constrain ALP properties. In this work, we obtain some new constraints on the ALP mass ma and the photon-ALP coupling constant g with two different magnetic field models through TeV photons from PKS 2155–304. The first is the discrete-Φ model in which the magnetic field has the orientation angle Φ that changes discretely and randomly from one coherent domain to the next, and the second is the linearly-continuous-Φ model in which the magnetic field orientation angle Φ varies continuously across neighboring coherent domains. For the discrete-Φ model, we can obtain the best constraints on the ALP mass m1 = ma/(1 neV)= 0.1 and on the photon-ALP coupling constant g11= g/(10^-11 GeV^-1)= 5. The reasonable range of the ALP mass m1 is 0.08 ~ 0.2 when g11 = 5,and the only reasonable value of the photon-ALP coupling constant is g11 = 5 when m1 = 0.1. For the linearly-continuous-Φ model, we can obtain the best constraints on the ALP mass m1 = 0.1 and on the photon-ALP coupling constant g11 = 0.7. The reasonable range of the ALP mass m1 is 0.05 ~ 0.4 when g11= 0.7, and the reasonable range of the photon-ALP coupling constant g11 is 0.5 ~ 1 when m1 = *** of the results are consistent with the upper bound(g eV^-1, i.e., g11 et by the CAST experiment.

Optimizing VO_(2)film properties for use in SAW devices

The aim of this study is to optimize the conditions for producing thin VO_(2)films for their use in SAW *** used the pulsed laser deposition(PLD)method to produce VO_(2)*** used a metallic vanadium *** dependence of the oxygen pressure during PLD on the resistive metal-insulator transition(mIT)on substrates of c-sapphire and LiNbO_(3)YX/128°was *** resulting films had sharp metal-insulator temperature transitions on c-Al_(2)O_(3).The most high-quality films showed resistance change by four orders of *** the lower point of the hysteresis,the resistance of these samples was in the range of 50-100Ω.The synthesized VO_(2)films had a sharp temperature transition and a relatively small width of thermal *** SAW damping during its passage through a VO_(2)/ZnO/LiNbO_(3)YX/128°film at the metal-insulator phase transition temperature was *** SAW decreases with increasing temperature from 52 dB/cm to 0 dB/cm.
