lanthanum promoting bone formation by regulating osteogenesis,osteoclastogenesis and angiogenesis

With lanthanum(la) in agriculture, medicine, and the chemical industry, la shows accumulation in the body, especially in the bone, because of its similar structure to calcium. Moreover, la has a direct role in bone formation regulating osteoblasts and osteoclasts. Nevertheless, bone formation is complex under the regulation of osteogenesis, osteoclastogenesis, and angiogenesis in the bone microenvironment. It is difficult to comprehensively understand the regulation of bone homeostasis from a single kind of ***, some bone microenvironment-related cells and mouse calvaria culture models were used to study the regulatory effect of la-based compound-lanthanum nitrate(la(NO_(3))_(3)) on bone ***(NO_(3))_(3) has good biological safety, and the osteogenic differentiation is significantly increased under la(NO_(3))_(3) treatment for bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMMSC). In contrast, the differentiation,maturation, and bone erosion ability of osteoclasts are significantly decreased. Meanwhile, the angiogenesis ability of human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVEC) is significantly promoted when treated with la(NO_(3))_(3). Furthermore, bone metabolism and angiogenesis are improved under la(NO_(3))_(3) treatment in the calvaria ex vivo culture model and BMMSC-HUVEC co-culture system. These results suggest that la has the beneficial effect of promoting bone metabolism and improving bone formation in the bone microenvironment.

Electrolyte interface resistance and low ionic conductivity are essential issues for commercializing solid-state lithium metal batteries(SSLMBs).This work details the fabrication of a double-layer solid composite electrolyte(DLSCE)for *** composite comprises poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene)(PVDF-HFP)and poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA)combined with 10 wt.%of Li_(6.4)la_(3)Zr_(1.4)Ta_(0.6)O_(12)(LLZTO),synthesized through an ultraviolet curing *** ionic conductivity of the DLSCE(2.6×10^(-4) S·cm^(-1))at room temperature is the high lithium-ion transference number(0.57),and the tensile strength is 17.8 *** this DLSCE was assembled,the resulted LFP/DLSCE/Li battery exhibited excellent rate performance,with the discharge specific capacities of 162.4,146.9,93.6,and 64.0 mA·h·g^(-1) at 0.1,0.2,0.5,and 1 C,***,the DLScE demonstrates remarkable stability with lithium metal batteries,facilitating the stable operation of a Li/Li symmetric battery for over 200 h at both 0.1 and 0.2 mA-cm^(-2).Notably,the formation of lithium dendrites is also effectively inhibited during *** work provides a novel design strategy and preparation method for solid composite electrolytes.

Aqueous perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA)elimination has raised significant concerns due to its persistence and ***β-PbO_(2)plate anodes have shown efficient mineralization of PFOA,it remains unclear whether PFOA can be effectively degraded usingβ-PbO_(2)reactive electrochemical membrane(REM).Herein,we assessed the performance of Ti/SnO_(2)-Sb/la-PbO_(2)REM for PFOA removal and proposed a possible degradation *** a current density of 10 mA/cm2and a membrane flux of 8500(liters per square meter per hour,LMH),the degradation efficiency of 10 mg/L PFOA was merely8.8%,whereas the degradation efficiency of 0.1 mg/L PFOA increased to 96.6%.Although the porous structure of theβ-PbO_(2)REM provided numerous electroactive sites for PFOA,the generated oxygen bubbles in the pores could block the pore channels and adsorb PFOA *** hindered the protonation process and significantly impeded the degradation of high-concentration *** experiments indicated that·OH played dominant role in PFOA *** electrical energy per order to remove 0.1 mg/L PFOA was merely 0.74 Wh/L,which was almost an order of magnitude lower than that of other anode *** study presents fresh opportunities for the electrochemical degradation of low-concentration PFOA usingβ-PbO_(2)REM.

该研究采用宏基因组测序技术对胀袋生抽酱油微生物类群进行了解析,对其微生物菌株进行了分离鉴定,并对分离株是否可导致酱油胀气进行了验证。宏基因组结果表明,胀袋生抽酱油样品中平均相对含量大于1.0%的微生物主要由嗜盐四联球菌(Tetragenococcus halophilus)、酸鱼联合乳杆菌(Ligilactobacillus acidipiscis)、植物乳植物杆菌(lactiplantibacillus plantarum)、耐酸乳杆菌(lactobacillus acetotolerans)、棒状腐败乳杆菌(Loigolactobacillus coryniformis)、短促生乳杆菌(Levilactobacillus brevis)和屎肠球菌(Enterococcus faecium)构成,平均相对含量分别为28.01%、25.50%、9.45%、2.49%、1.83%、1.53%和1.33%;采用纯培养技术,分离出的49株细菌被鉴定为6个属下的11个种,其中枯草芽孢杆菌(Bacillus subtilis)、破布子联合乳杆菌(Ligilactobacillus pobuzihii)、蛋白原酶腐败乳杆菌(Loigolactobacillus rennini)和***分离株占总分离株数的39.22%、19.61%、11.76%和9.80%,分离出的2株酵母菌均被鉴定为扣囊复膜酵母(Saccharomycopsis fibuligera);产气验证实验发现,所有分离株均不能单独引起生抽酱油的胀袋现象。由此可见,胀袋生抽酱油具有较高的微生物多样性,在后续研究引入培养组学策略以获得更多的分离株,亦或考虑多菌株的协同作用,对酱油涨袋这一产业问题的解决可能具有积极的意义。
