The Effects of Cropping Methods on Growth, Crop Index and Yield Response to Water of Rice （Oryza sativa L.） in Rainfed Agriculture

In this study, four combinations of crops： rice （C）, rice-maize （MCSI）, rice-cassava （MCS2） and rice-maize-cassava （MCS3） with 3 m × 3 m each plots at two field areas--Saptosari and Tanjungsari were observed. Both field areas are located in Gunungkidul district, South-Central of Java Island, with that 93% at those areas are 185 m to 500 m above sea level and high proportion of multiple cropping systems （MCS）. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of different cropping method on growth, crop index and yield response to water of rice in rainfed agriculture. Mathematical models were developed to describe rice growth. The rice height was followed monomolecular function and the number of tillers followed exponential polynomial function. Crop index was calculated from climate data during plant growth phase. And yield response to water was calculated from actual evapotranspiration （ETa） and the maximum evapotranspiration （ETm）. The results showed that the height of rice was not significantly different between each combination （P 〉 0.05）. Number of tillers was also not significant （P 〉 0.05）. However, monoculture treatment had more number of tillers than rice in MCS. Crop index of rice at Saptosari was higher than at Tanjungsari. Based on the calculation of evapotranspiration （ET）, water deficit at initial was less than at mid-season （ETa 〈 ETm） and affected water stress. Statistical analysis showed that cropping methods did not significantly affect rice growth and yield （P 〉 0.05）.

业主在授予合同、给承包商分配工作时，最常采用的机制就是合同投标。为了在合同授予期间保持公开、公正的竞争，并且提高中国建筑业的透明度，投标机制自20世纪引入中国。投标机制作为国际进程的一部分，应该贯彻用于项目投标。而当合同签订完成时，投标反馈信息应当提供给所有参与者，以改善投标商的绩效，也能为项目业主带来一个更加可信的投标过程。反馈在任何学习过程中都是十分重要的。在任何产业中都是同样的道理;反馈被用来修正错误。尤其是提到建筑业，更应该提供反馈。由于项目和环境自身的特点以及产业的复杂性，反馈能够帮助把错误降到最低。在建筑业，绝大部分投标商都可能利用反馈信息来回顾、评估过去的投标绩效，改善未来的投标绩效。本文思考了当合同基于价格授予和基于多重标准授予时，业主提供的投标反馈以及投标商想要的投标反馈之间不同层次的差异，并且研究了投标反馈在建筑投标过程中的重要意义以及目的。结果发现，业主所提供的投标反馈与投标商想要的信息并不一样。此外，本文还将把过去几年不同研究者的研究做对比。此项研究利用了一个真实的案例研究。研究方法划分为三个部分，回顾年度报告和过往投标绩效，选择性访谈及分发调查问卷。选择性访谈的目的是更深入地理解一个大型SOE（国有公司）以及其公司背景。在第二阶段，我们把调查问卷发给了这个公司。为了了解投标过程，我们询问了各种类型的问题，比如业主是否应该给出反馈，业主应该给出什么样的反馈，投标商希望得到什么样的反馈。结果表明，业主通常都没有给出充分的反馈信息，尤其是当合同授予是基于最低报价的时候。大部分投标商都想要从竞争者或其他途径那里寻找信息。我们发现，尤其是当合同授予仅仅基于报价时，投标商愿意获得所有投标价格的升序或降序信息。让人感到惊讶的是，不管承包商经验丰富还是经验缺乏，大部分受试者都认为反馈时非常重要的。他们想要利用这些信息来分析过去的投标绩效，并为未来的项目做参考。

The objective of this study was to examine the phytochemical components, antioxidant activity and antibacterial property of ethyl acetate extract of the stem bark of garlic tree （Scorodocarpus borneensis）. The dried stem bark of S. borneensis were collected and homogenized after drying at room temperature （32℃） for 30 d. The stem barks were extracted by macerated method using 95% ethanol and then fractionated with ethyl acetate. The dried ethyl acetate extract was subjected to phytoehemical screening to determine the presence of bioactive components using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry （GC-MS）. Antioxidant activity of the extract in vitro was examined by 2,2-diphenyl-l-picryl-hydrazyl （DPPH） radical scavenging assay. The antibacterial activity against gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus aureus and gram-negative bacteria Escherichia coli was performed by disc diffusion assay. GCMS results revealed the presence of 14 different phytocompounds, viz, tetratriacontyl trifluoroacetate （41.61%）, 2-pentanone （13.65%）, oxacyclotetradecane-2,11-done （7.87%）, cinnamic acid （7.53%）, 10-octadecanoic acid （6.50%）, 1,2-benzeno dicarboxylix acid （4.99%）, octadecanoic acid （4.51%）, hexadecanoic acid （4.16%）, beta tumerone （3.01%）, 9-octadecenoic acid （1.70%）, tricosanol （1.38%）, hexadecano-phenone （1.36%）, 1-nonadecanol （0.93%） and n-nonadecanol （0.82%）. In vitro antioxidant activity （IC50） was found at 55.524 ppm as high powerful. The results of agar diffusion method showed that the ethyl acetate extracts had an antibacterial activity of 6.687 ± 0.800 mm againts S. aureus at 10% （w/v） and 7.500 ± 0.735 mm against E. coli at 10% （w/v） as moderate category. These findings suggest that S. borneensis stem bark is a valuable sources of bioactive compounds with promising as antioxidant and antibacterial sources.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the psychosocial dysfunction of adolescents with stunted and normal height. This was a cross-sectional study using pediatric symptom checklist-17 (PSC-17), subjected to adolescents (age: 11 to 14 years) in Suburban, West Java Indonesia. Two variables of the subjects’ characteristics (sex and body height) were included in the multivariate analysis because the p was <0.25 (p = 0.22, p = 0.07). It was found that 53 subjects had psychosocial dysfunction (25 stunted, 4 severely stunted, and 24 normal heights) with significant comparing proportion between severely stunted and normal height (p = 0.04). In severely stunted adolescents, the risk of psychosocial dysfunction is 6.33 more than in normal stature group. Examination was done on those 53 adolescents resulted in several psychosocial disorders: 12 psychosocially low self-esteem, 12 family problems, and others ranging from other several aspect problems. Forty-one from the 53 adolescents were with psychopathology symptoms. There was psychosocial dysfunction just in adolescents with severely stunted.

Iridovirus infection often causes death and considerable economic losses in the aquaculture industry. This research applies the co-agglutination method that is fast, cheap and accurate in confirming the diagnosis of the cause of an outbreak of illness caused by iridovirus in the field, so that remedial action can be taken quickly and appropriately to minimize the impact of wider losses. Samples were taken from the grouper and pomfret star farms that are experiencing outbreaks of infectious diseases in the months from May to August 2015, Tanjungpinang, Indonesia. The sick and allegedly attacked by iridovirus samples showed abnormal swimming clinical symptoms, weakness and the swollen spleen. The swollen spleen of sick fish created suspension in phosphate buffered saline （PBS） with pH 7.2, and then centrifuged at 8,000 rpm for I0 rain. The supernatant after centrifuge was used as the test sample. On a clean object glass, 50 μL of the supematant was treated with 50 μL kit co-agglutination pre-prepared. The positive results were shown by the agglutination reaction after 10-15 rain, while as a negative control, PBS was reacted with co-agglutination kit that looked homogeneous （no agglutination）. It was showed that the grouper （Epinepkelus sp.） on four farms and pomfret star （Thracinotus blochii） on one farm that experienced an outbreak of infectious disease in Tanjungpinang showed positively infected iridovirus. The same positive iridovirus result was also demonstrated by examination using polymerase chain reaction （PCR） at 570 bp. So, the causative agent of plague on grouper and pomfret star was iridovirus. In addition, the co-agglutination test based on serology is more quick, cheap and accurate.

本论文旨在研究富虾青素玉米对高峰期产蛋鸡生产性能、鸡蛋品质、虾青素富集、抗氧化能力和脂代谢指标的影响。选用270只海兰褐蛋鸡,按产蛋率无显著差异原则分3组,每组6重复,每重复15只鸡。对照组饲喂玉米-豆粕型基础饲粮,虾青素组饲喂来源于生血红球菌的虾青素粉,富含虾青素的玉米组饲喂富含虾青素的玉米,虾青素组与富虾青素玉米组饲粮虾青素含量计算值相同。预饲期1周,试验期8周。结果表明:虾青素和富虾青素玉米可显著降低平均日采食量（P＜0.05）,并对料蛋比具有降低趋势（P=0.078）。虾青素和富虾青素玉米均可显著提高蛋黄颜色（罗氏比色法）及蛋黄颜色a*值,并降低L*和b*值（P＜0.05）。其中,富虾青素玉米组b*值显著低于其他两组（P＜0.05）。虾青素和富虾青素玉米组蛋黄虾青素含量分别为13.67μg/g和14.15μg/g,且两组间富集效率均无显著差异（P＞0.05）。富虾青素玉米组蛋黄玉米黄质含量显著低于其他两组（P＜0.05）。与对照组相比,虾青素及富虾青素玉米组血清T-SOD具有升高趋势（P=0.098）,MDA含量显著降低（P＜0.05）各组间。各组间TG、T-CHO、LDL-C和HDL-C均无显著差异（P＞0.05）。综上,蛋鸡饲粮使用富虾青素玉米可与添加虾青素发挥同等营养作用,均可改善蛋鸡生产性能,提高蛋黄颜色,增强机体抗氧化能力并使蛋黄富集虾青素。

Objective: To analyze the effects of subchronic cypermethrin on the ovary and endometrium as well as the involvement of apoptosis in the toxicity of cypermethrin. Methods: A total of 32 female Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups, with 8 rats in each group. The control group received no treatment, and the other three groups received oral cypermethrin at 10, 15 or 20 mg/kg body weight for 28 days (sub-chronic). The granulosa cells were calculated histopathologically. The apoptotic index was determined by in situ technique. Histopathological examination was performed on the uterus and ovary. Results: There was no significant difference in the number of primary follicular granulosa cells between the treatment groups and the control group (P>0.05). However, the number of secondary and tertiary follicle granulosa cells in the treatment groups was significantly decreased compared to that of the control group (P all<0.05). The apoptotic index of primary follicular granulosa cells increased significantly in the groups treated with cypermethrin compared with the control group (P<0.05). The secondary, tertiary, and endometrial granulosa cell apoptosis index was significantly higher in all treatment groups compared to the control group (P<0.05). The higher the dose of cypermethrin was, the higher the apoptotic index of secondary, tertiary and endometrial granulosa cells was. There was a significant decrease in endometrial thickness in the three treatment groups compared to the control group (P<0.05). Thinning of the endometrial layer was seen in the cypermethrin exposure groups. Conclusions: Exposure to cypermethrin can suppress the number of secondary and tertiary follicular granulosa cells, and trigger thinning of the endometrium through induction of apoptosis.
