Facial wound segmentation plays a crucial role in preoperative planning and optimizing patient outcomes in various medical *** this paper,we propose an efficient approach for automating 3D facial wound segmentation using a two-stream graph convolutional *** method leverages the Cir3D-FaIR dataset and addresses the challenge of data imbalance through extensive experimentation with different loss *** achieve accurate segmentation,we conducted thorough experiments and selected a high-performing model from the *** selectedmodel demonstrates exceptional segmentation performance for complex 3D facial ***,based on the segmentation model,we propose an improved approach for extracting 3D facial wound fillers and compare it to the results of the previous *** method achieved a remarkable accuracy of 0.9999993% on the test suite,surpassing the performance of the previous *** this result,we use 3D printing technology to illustrate the shape of the wound *** outcomes of this study have significant implications for physicians involved in preoperative planning and intervention *** automating facial wound segmentation and improving the accuracy ofwound-filling extraction,our approach can assist in carefully assessing and optimizing interventions,leading to enhanced patient ***,it contributes to advancing facial reconstruction techniques by utilizing machine learning and 3D bioprinting for printing skin tissue *** source code is available at https://***/SIMOGroup/WoundFilling3D.

this study uses iso-geometric investigation,which is based on the non-uniform rational B-splines(NURBS)basis function,to investigate natural oscillation of bi-directional functionally graded porous(BFGP)doublycurved shallow microshells placed on Pasternak foundations with any boundary *** characteristics of the present material vary in both thickness and axial directions along the *** be more specific,a material length-scale coefficient of the microshell varies in both thickness and length directions as the material's mechanical *** is able to develop a differential equation system with varying coefficients that regulate the motion of BFGP double-curved shallow microshells by using Hamilton principle,Kirchhoff-Love hypothesis,and modified couple stress *** numerical findings are reported for thin microshells that are spherical,cylindrical,and hyperbolic paraboloidal,with a variety of planforms,including rectangles and *** validity and effectiveness of the established model are shown by comparing the numerical results given by the proposed formulations with previously published findings in many specific *** addition,influences of length scale parameters,power-law indexes,thickness-to-side ratio,and radius ratio on natural oscillation responses of BFGP microshells are investigated in detail.

Noise pollution tends to receive less awareness compared to other types of pollution,however,it greatly impacts the quality of life for humans such as causing sleep disruption,stress or hearing *** urban sound through the identification of noise sources in cities could help to benefit livability by reducing exposure to noise pollution through methods such as noise control,planning of the soundscape environment,or selection of safe living *** this paper,we proposed a self-attention long short-term memory(LStM)method that can improve sound classification compared to previous *** attention mechanism will be designed solely to capture the key section of an audio data *** is practical as we only need to process important parts of the data and can ignore the rest,making it applicable when gathering information with long-term *** dataset used is the Urbansound8k dataset which specifically pertains to urban environments and data augmentation was applied to overcome imbalanced data and dataset *** audio sources in the dataset were normalized to mono *** the dataset above,an experiment was conducted to confirm the suitability of the proposed model when applied to the mel-spectrogram and MFCC(Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients)datasets transformed from the original *** the classification accuracy depends on the machine learning models as well as the input data,therefore we have evaluated different class models and extraction methods to find the best *** combining data augmentation techniques and various extraction methods,our classification model has achieved state-of-the-art performance,each class accuracy is up to 98%.

this study contributes a rich set of quantitative methodologies including a nonparametric approach(Chi-plots and K-plots)as well as copulas(traditional and timevarying with Student’s t-copulas)to the existing literature in terms of determining the dependence structure in ASEAN stock *** on the emerging ASEAN equity returns of six countries from January 2001 to December 2017,we found that Student’s t-copulas under time-varying approach is the most appropriate approach to explain these *** all research return pairs,the dependence between Vietnam and other ASEAN equity indices has the lowest ***,all couples show left-and right-tail dependence by each pair for pre-and postfinancial ***,diversification across these pairs of equity markets from ASEAN is still adequate for international investors,though it might trigger contagion risks.

A novel approach for synthesis of hierarchical mesoporous Nd2O3 nanomaterials

A novel route to the fabrication of hierarchical mesoporous Nd_2O_3 nanostructures including nanospheres and nanoporous network was described. their structure and morphology evolution of the as-synthesized materials were determined by various techniques such as scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, Fourier transforminfrared spectra, nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherm, and a formation mechanism was proposed. the results revealed that the Nd_2O_3 nanospheres had the diameter of 300 nm, which were composed of small primary nanoparticles（NPs） with the size of 10 nm. the nanoporous structure also formed the NPs of ca. 10 nm which were connected with each other to form a three-dimensional（3D） texture. this simple and mild approach to fabricate hierarchical mesoporous Nd_2O_3 nanostructures could be easily scaled up and potentially extended to synthesize other oxide hierarchical structures.

In this study,we developed novel hybrid models namely Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System(ANFIS)optimized by Shuffled Complex Evolution(SCE)on the one hand and ANFIS with Artificial Bee Colony(ABC)on the other *** were used to predict compressive strength(Cs)of concrete relating to thirteen concrete-strength affecting parameters which are easy to determine in the *** and laboratory tests data of 108 structural elements of 18 concrete bridges of the Ha Long-Van Don Expressway,Vietnam were *** dataset was randomly divided into a 70:30 ratio,for training(70%)and testing(30%)of the hybrid *** of the developed fuzzy metaheuristic models was evaluated using standard statistical metrics:Correlation Coefficient(R),Root Mean Square Error(RMSE)and Mean Absolute Error(MAE).the results showed that both of the novel models depict close agreement between experimental and predicted ***,the ANFIS-ABC model reflected better convergence of the results and better performance compared to that of ANFIS-SCE in the prediction of the concrete ***,the ANFIS-ABC model can be used for the quick and accurate estimation of compressive strength of concrete based on easily determined parameters for the design of civil engineering structures including bridges.

A controllable approach that combines surface plasmon resonance and twodimensional(2D)graphene/MoS2 heterojunction has not been implemented despite its potential for efficient photoelectrochemical(PEC)water *** this study,plasmonic Ag-decorated 2D MoS2 nanosheets were vertically grown on graphene substrates in a practical large-scale manner through metalorganic chemical vapor deposition of MoS2 and thermal evaporation of *** plasmonic Ag-decorated MoS2 nanosheets on graphene yielded up to 10 times higher photo-to-dark current ratio than MoS2 nanosheets on indium tin *** significantly enhanced PEC activity could be attributed to the synergetic effects of SPR and favorable graphene/2D MoS2 *** Ag nanoparticles not only increased visible-light and near-infrared absorption of 2D MoS2,but also induced highly amplified local electric field intensity in 2D *** addition,the vertically aligned 2D MoS2 on graphene acted as a desirable heterostructure for efficient separation and transportation of photo-generated *** study provides a promising path for exploiting the full potential of 2D MoS2 for practical large-scale and efficient PEC water-splitting applications.
