The spatial-temporal development of Cenozoic reactivation along Mesozoic suture zones in the Tibetan Plateau are first-order parameters needed for assessing models of plateau *** Ganzi-litang suture,in the eastern Tibetan Plateau,developed in the late Triassic because of subduction and closure along the eastern branch of the Paleo-Tethys *** the city of litang,the Ganzi-litang suture is defined by a melange sequence with faultbound,synorogenic nonmarine strata along the western and eastern flanks,suggesting post-Triassic structural *** present detrital zircon U-Pb geochronology and field data to determine the timing and style of reactivation along the Ganzi-litang suture,as w.l. as sedimentary provenance of nonmarine strata.A reverse fault placing melange rock on top of nonmarine strata along the eastern flank of the Ganzi-litang suture indicates a contractional deformational regime during *** clast counts indicate a local sediment source of recycled Ganzi-litang suture and Yidun terrane *** zircons indicate a localized provenance consisting of recycled material from Triassic Yidun Arc plutons and Triassic Yidun Group turbidite rock.A weighted mean average of Cenozoic zircon grains(n=10) establishes a maximum depositional age of41.5 ± 1.2 Ma for nonmarine strata in the Ganzi-litang *** interpret the maximum depositional age of the nonmarine strata to represent the upper-limit for structural reactivation along the Ganzi-litang suture while undeformed Neogene strata in the suture zone represent the lower-limit;thereby bracketing structural reactivation from ca.42-25 *** results provide enhanced spatial-temporal resolution for Cenozoic deformation in the eastern Tibetan Plateau.

Dear Editor,Afferent synapses of cochlear inner hair cells(IHCs)employ a unique molecular machinery(see extended background in Supplementary Materials).Otoferlin is a key player in this machinery and its defects cause human auditory synaptopathy(Moser and Starr,2016).Otoferlin,a tail-anchored(Vogl et al.,2016)multi-C_(2)-domain protein(Fig.1Ai)specific to hair cells(Roux et al.,2006),is a member of the ferlin protein family involved in membrane trafficking and repair that are of major disease relevance(Pangršičet al.,2012),also see Supplementary *** is distributed broadly within IHCs(Fig.2Ai-Aiii;Pangrsic et al.,2010;Roux et al.,2006).

Florida, along with Hawaii, has among the two worst invasive species problems in the USA, and the state is espe-cially susceptible to establishment by alien reptiles. Besides the large numbers of established non-native reptile species in Florida, many of these species present novel difficulties for management, or have other characteristics making effective management ex-tremely challenging. Moreover, initiation of management action requires more than recognition by experts that a potentially harmful species has become established. It also requires the political w.l. along with concomitant resources and appropriate per-sonnel to develop effective methods and apply them. we review the situation in Florida, including assessment of risk for estab- lishment, and we use a subset of prominent species to illustrate in more detail the array of invasive reptile species circumstances in Florida, including routes of introduction, impacts, and potential and implemented management actions. These examples not only highlight the severity of the invasive reptile problems in the state, but they also show the diversity in resolve and response towards them and the motivating factors [Current Zoology 57 （5）： 599-612, 2011].

The distribution control center(DCC)has evolved from a sideshow in the traditional distribution service center to a major centerpiece of the utility moving into the decentralized ***,this is the place where much of the action is happening due to new forms of energy that are coining into the distribution *** creates the flexibility of operation and in-creased complexity due to the need for increased coordination between the transmission control center and ***,the US and European utilities have adapted to this change in very different ***,we describe the research works done in a DCC and their evolutions from the perspectives of major US utilities,and those enhanced by the European perspective focusing on the coordination of distribution system operator and transmission system operator(DSO-TSO).we pres-ent the insights into the systems used in these control centers and the role of vendors in their *** this paper,we present the perspectives of challenges,operational capabilities,and the involvement of various parties who w.l. be re-sponsible to make the transition *** differences are pointed out on how distribution operations are conducted between the US and Europe.

Spatial distributions of animals can affect interactions with their natural enemies,such as parasites,and thus have important implications for host-parasite *** spatial variation in infection risk has been explored in many systems at the landscape scale,less attention has been paid to spatial structure at smaller ***,we explore a hypothesized relationship between a common spatial variable,vertical position,and risk of parasite infection in a model aquatic system,larval frogs(Rana)and trematode(Digenea)*** position is relevant to this system given evidence that the densities of snail first intermediate hosts,tadpole second intermediate hosts,and trematode infective stages can vary with *** test the effects of depth on infection risk of larval frogs by trematodes,we performed two enclosure experiments,one in the laboratory and one in the field,in which larval frogs in cages just below the water surface or near the bottom of the water column were exposed to *** with near-surface cages,mean infection load(number of cysts)in tadpoles in near-bottom cages was 83%higher after 48-h exposures in the laboratory and 730%higher after 10-day exposures in the *** findings thus indicate that infection risk depends on depth,which may have adaptive significance,as tadpoles have previously been shown to change vertical position in response to parasite *** results motivate future work examining vertical variation in infection risk and may have broader implications for host-parasite dynamics and evolution of host and parasite behavior.

BACKGROUND Anti-programmed death-1/programmed death-ligand 1(PD-1/PD-l1)immuno-therapy has demonstrated promising results on gastric cancer(GC).However,PD-l1 can express differently between metastatic sites and primary tumors(PT).AIM To compare PD-l1 status in PT and matched lymph node metastases(lNM)of GC patients and to determine the correlation between the PD-l1 status and clinicopathological *** we retrospectively reviewed 284 GC patients who underwent ***-l1 was evaluated by immunohistochemistry(clone SP142)using the com-bined positive *** PD-l1+PT staged as pN+were also tested for PD-l1 expression in their ***-l1(-)GC with pN+served as the comparison *** Among 284 GC patients included,45 had PD-l1+PT and 24 of them had pN+.For comparison,44 PD-l1(-)cases with pN+were included(sample loss of 4 cases).Of the PD-l1+PT,54.2%(13/24 cases)were also PD-l1+in the *** PD-l1(-)PT,9.1%(4/44)had PD-l1+in the *** agreement between PT and lNM had a kappa value of *** tumor size and moderate/severe peritumoral inflammatory response were associated with PD-l1 positivity in both *** was no statistical difference in overall survival for PT and lNM according to the PD-l1 status(P=0.166 and P=0.837,respectively).CONClUSION Intra-patient heterogeneity in PD-l1 expression was observed between the PT and matched *** disagreement in PD-l1 status may emphasize the importance of considering different tumor sites for analyses to select patients for immunotherapy.
