3D Road Network Modeling and Road Structure Recognition in Internet of Vehicles

Internet of Vehicles (IoV) is a new system that enables individual vehicles to connect with nearby vehicles,people, transportation infrastructure, and networks, thereby realizing amore intelligent and efficient transportationsystem. The movement of vehicles and the three-dimensional (3D) nature of the road network cause the topologicalstructure of IoV to have the high space and time complexity.Network modeling and structure recognition for 3Droads can benefit the description of topological changes for IoV. This paper proposes a 3Dgeneral roadmodel basedon discrete points of roads obtained from GIS. First, the constraints imposed by 3D roads on moving vehicles areanalyzed. Then the effects of road curvature radius (Ra), longitudinal slope (Slo), and length (Len) on speed andacceleration are studied. Finally, a general 3D road network model based on road section features is established.This paper also presents intersection and road section recognition methods based on the structural features ofthe 3D road network model and the road features. Real GIS data from a specific region of Beijing is adopted tocreate the simulation scenario, and the simulation results validate the general 3D road network model and therecognitionmethod. Therefore, thiswork makes contributions to the field of intelligent transportation by providinga comprehensive approach tomodeling the 3Droad network and its topological changes in achieving efficient trafficflowand improved road safety.

Cognitive radio devices can utilize the licensed channels in an opportunistic manner to solve the spectrum scarcity issue occurring in the unlicensed spectrum.However,these cognitive radio devices(secondary users)are greatly affected by the original users(primary users)of licensed channels.Cognitive users have to adjust operation parameters frequently to adapt to the dynamic network environment,which causes extra energy consumption.Energy consumption can be reduced by predicting the future activity of primary users.However,the traditional prediction-based algorithms require large historical data to achieve a satisfying precision accuracy which will consume a lot of time and memory space.Moreover,many of these schemes lack methods to deal with the very busy network environments.In this paper,one semi-supervised learning algorithm,i.e.,tri-training,has been employed to investigate the prediction of primary activity.Based on the prediction results of tri-training,a duty-cycle mechanism and an intermediate node selection approach are proposed to improve the energy efficiency.Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Internet of Things Based Solutions for Transport Network Vulnerability Assessment in Intelligent Transportation Systems

Intelligent Transportation System(ITS)is essential for effective identification of vulnerable units in the transport network and its stable operation.Also,it is necessary to establish an urban transport network vulnerability assessment model with solutions based on Internet of Things(IoT).Previous research on vulnerability has no congestion effect on the peak time of urban road network.The cascading failure of links or nodes is presented by IoT monitoring system,which can collect data from a wireless sensor network in the transport environment.The IoT monitoring system collects wireless data via Vehicle-to-Infrastructure(V2I)channels to simulate key segments and their failure probability.Finally,the topological structure vulnerability index and the traffic function vulnerability index of road network are extracted from the vulnerability factors.The two indices are standardized by calculating the relative change rate,and the comprehensive index of the consequence after road network unit is in a failure state.Therefore,by calculating the failure probability of road network unit and comprehensive index of road network unit in failure state,the comprehensive vulnerability of road network can be evaluated by a risk calculation formula.In short,the IoT-based solutions to the new vulnerability assessment can help road network planning and traffic management departments to achieve the ITS goals.

Unraveling role of double-exchange interaction in electrochemical water oxidation by external magnetic field

Double-exchange(DE) interaction plays an important role in electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction(OER).However,precise achievement of DE interaction often requires foreign dopants or vacancy engineering,leading to destabilization of the catalysts and deterioration of performance.By contrast,the utilization of environmentally friendly,contactless,and continuously adjustable magnetic fields to study the OER process is profitable to avoid aforementioned interference factors and further elucidate the direct relationship_(0.5)between DE interaction and OER activity.Here,by using cobalt hydroxide carbonate(Co(OH)(CO_(3))·xH_(2)O,CoHC) nanostructures as a proof-of-concept study,external magnetic fields are carefully implemented to verify the role of DE interaction during water oxidation reaction.Detailed studies reveal that external magnetic fields effectively enhance the reaction rate of the catalyst,the overpotential decreases from 386 to 355 mV(100 mA·cm^(-2)),while Tafel slopes drastically decline from 93 to 67 mV·dec^(-1)(1.0 T).Moreover,magnetic field increment exhibits robust durability.Through in situ Raman and impedance measurements under external field,it can be found that magnetic field promotes the electron migration between Co^(2+) and Co^(3+) in the CoHC catalysts with the assistance of DE interactions,thus boosting the OER efficiency.

As an effective strategy to improve the properties of electrocatalysts,magnetic field-assisted electrocatalytic water splitting has attracted increasing attention recently.However,the corresponding enhancements mostly depend on the exertion of an external magnetic field during electrochemical reactions,which results in a high cost of industrial production,and makes the magnetic field manipulation of electrocatalysis become a challenging task.In this work,instead of the external magnetic field,a bias magnetic field is self-supplied by the remanence state of a ferromagnetic electrocatalyst of FePt.Owing to the assistance of this bias magnetic field,the FePt film in the remanence state shows the overpotential of 229 mV during hydrogen evolution reaction,which is much lower than that in its demagnetization state(283 mV).Our findings demonstrate that the remanence in ferromagnetic electrocatalysts can improve the catalytic performance,which is attributed to the decrease in domain walls.

为了应对车联网中计算资源密集、可分离型任务的卸载环境动态变化和不同协同节点通信、计算资源存在差异的问题,提出了一种在V2X下多协同节点串行卸载、并行计算的分布式卸载策略。该策略利用车辆可预测的行驶轨迹,对任务进行不等拆分,分布式计算于本地、MEC及协同车辆,建立系统时延最小化的优化问题。为求解该优化问题,设计了博弈论的卸载机制,以实现协同节点串行卸载的执行顺序;鉴于车联网的动态时变特性,利用序列二次规划算法,给出了最优的任务不等拆分。仿真结果表明,所提策略能够有效减少计算任务系统时延,且当多协同节点分布式卸载服务时,所提策略在不同的参数条件下仍然能够保持稳定的系统性能。

严寒地区大型办公建筑的能耗强度高、节能潜力巨大,研究其形态节能设计规律具有典型性和现实性意义。研究从建筑光热性能角度,采用计算机性能模拟法和正交试验法,针对严寒C类地区高层办公建筑提出了形态设计参数对建筑能耗的影响规律。结果表明:1)光气候差异不能够成为造成同一热工分区建筑能耗差异的主导因素;2)平面体量、层高、窗墙比始终对建筑总能耗具有显著影响;3)总体上,围护结构性能的提升会降低形态设计参数对能耗的敏感度;4)最优参数组合和最差参数组合不会因光气候差异和围护结构性能差异而发生改变。研究结论从节能的角度可为建筑设计初级阶段提供参考和借鉴。

SEEPAGE CONTROL OF WEAKENED ROCK FOUNDATION OF GEZHOUBA ERJIANG-SLUICE

It is the presence of weakened intercalations that makes the foundation of Gezhouba Erjiang-Sluice complex. Seepage control installation must be able not only to reduce seepapge pressure, but also to protect weakened intercalations from encroachment of seepage. In this paper theoretical analysis has been conducted to prove that well system is highly effective seepage control installation meeting this demand. By means of in-situ monitoring it has been verified that proposed seepage control measure relying mainly on drainage is of success. Seepage stability of weakened intercalations must be considered in employing drains to control seepage, while the seepage deformation of weakened intercalations is different from that of ordinary sand-gravel. Mechanism of seepage deformation of weakened intercalations has been expounded. Seepage wedging is a special type of seepage deformation for weakened intercalations, It is shown clearly that seepage deformation of intercalations does not mean seepage failure of the foundation. In such a foundation as that of Gezhouba sluice, the permeability is distributed randomly. So the seepage field is an unstable, stochastic field.

以大召历史文化街区为研究对象,在构建风貌要素指标体系的基础上,采用民众风貌感知数据,运用有序Probit模型、边际效用分析与I-S评分法,研究风貌要素满意度对总体风貌满意度的影响机理,以此对风貌改造工作提出精准建议。结果表明:街道服务设施特点、灯光照明、景观特点与历史文化之“风”四个风貌要素满意度对总体风貌满意度具有显著影响;相比于男性,女性对街区风貌的要求更高,更不容易被满足;风貌要素优先提升权从高到低依次为街道服务设施特点、灯光照明、景观特点与历史文化之“风”。
