Visceral leishmaniasis(VL)is a neglected tropical disease,and this review has summarized the current treatment scenario and its *** also highlights alternative approaches used by research groups in India and around the world to develop cutting-edge and potent anti-leishmanial *** though numerous medications could be utilized to treat VL,the limitations of current treatments including their toxicity,cost,route of administration,and duration of doses,have contributed to the emergence of *** therapy might be a better option due to its shorter duration,easier route of administration,and ability to extend the lifespan of individual ***,there is a risk of not delivering both the drugs to the target site together,which can be overcome by the liposomal entrapment of those drugs and at a time knock an opportunity to reduce the dosage of amphotericin B if the combination drug provides a synergistic effect with ***,this review presents a novel strategy to fight against VL by introducing dual drug-loaded liposomes.

Objective:To explore the therapeutic effects of the novel wild edible mushroom Astraeus hygrometricus(Pers.)Morgan(***)on human acute lymphoblastic leukemia ***:Extensive screening of the antiproliferative and chemopreventive potential of different extracts from 5 wild mushrooms,***,Phallus sp.,Lentinus sp.,Tricholoma sp.,and Serpula *** performed against a panel of 6 cancer cell lines and normal cells using the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT)*** determination,cell cycle profiling,intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS)and reactive nitrogen species(RNS),and mitochondrial membrane potential were analyzed by flow *** activity of caspases was measured colorimetrically,and the expression pattern of mitochondrial proteins was ***:The methanol extract of *** and MOLT-4 cells were identified as the most potent extract exhibiting antiproliferative activity and most sensitive cell line,*** mushroom extract induced robust selective apoptosis in MOLT-4 cells and arrested cell cycle progression at the G0/G1 *** extract disrupted the mitochondrial membrane potential and enhanced ROS production in MOLT-4 *** methanol extract induced apoptosis by downregulating the expression of Bcl-2,increasing the expression of Bax,and activating the caspase ***:The novel wild edible mushroom is a potential repository of biomolecules for the development of antileukemic drugs.

凤凰属物种因其深远的生态、经济和文化意义而闻名,已在亚洲范围内引起了广泛关注。然而,在该地区对凤凰属物种的研究趋势、状态、分布、民族植物学和药理活性的研究仍然有限。本研究旨在为亚洲凤凰属物种收集相关信息。我们采用了系统综述和荟萃分析的首选报告项目（PRISMA）方法,系统地审查了亚洲地区有关凤凰属物种的文献,分析了从2000年到2023年的亚洲凤凰属物种的研究趋势。结果共发现了42项相关研究,时间分布表明,多年来对凤凰属物种的关注度波动较大,显示出持续增长的研究兴趣, 2019年发表的文章数量达到了显著高峰。从地理分布上,研究的集中区域仅限于亚洲48个国家中的12个,鉴于凤凰属物种的广泛分布,因此需要进行更广泛的探索。目前研究的主题主要集中在药理学,其次是民族植物学、形态学、分类学、材料科学、环境工程和生态学。值得注意的是,研究不成比例地集中在Phoenix dactylifera属物种上,较少涉及其他物种。对研究重点、物种分布和地理代表性的分析强调了多样化研究主题的重要性,探索亚洲各地较少研究的凤凰属物种的生态、经济和文化意义,以揭示其在亚洲景观中的全部潜力和重要性。

目标:探讨新型野生食用菌硬皮地星（Astraeus hygrometricus）对人急性淋巴细胞白血病细胞的治疗作用。方法：采用3-(4,5-二甲基噻唑-2)-2,5-二苯基四氮唑溴盐(MTT)试验，对5种野生菌类（硬皮地星、竹荪、香菇、口蘑和干朽菌）的提取物针对6种癌细胞系和正常细胞的抗增殖及化学预防的潜力进行了广泛筛选。采用流式细胞术分析细胞凋亡、细胞周期、细胞内活性氧(ROS)和活性氮(RNS)以及线粒体膜电位进行检测。采用比色法测定半胱天冬酶活性，分析线粒体蛋白的表达模式。结果：硬皮地星甲醇提取物的抗增殖活性最强，且MOLT-4细胞系最为敏感。菌类提取物可诱导MOLT-4细胞的强选择性凋亡，并在G0/G1期阻滞细胞周期进程。提取物可破坏线粒体膜电位，增强MOLT-4细胞的ROS生成。甲醇提取物通过下调Bcl-2的表达，增加Bax的表达，以及激活caspase级联反应来诱导细胞凋亡。结论：这种新型野生食用菌为抗白血病药物的开发提供了潜在的生物分子库。

Bovine colostrum is defined as first milk by milching animals responsible for providing the innate immunity to the neonatal and possess many immunoglobulins for preventing the calf from diseases. Colostrum consist of many bioactive compounds like proteins, enzymes, growth factors, immunoglobulins and nucleotides that provides several benefits to human health. Numerous clinical and pre-clinical studies have demonstrated the therapeutic benefits of the bovine colostrum. This review focusses on bioactive compounds, their health benefits, potential of colostrum for developing several health foods and prevention of respiratory and gastrointestinal tract disorders. Processing can also be done to extend shelf-life and extraction of bioactive constituents either as encapsulated or as extracts. The products derived from bovine colostrum are high-end supplements possessing high nutraceutical value.

Growing a silicon(Si) layer on top of stacked Si-germanium(Ge) compressive layer can introduce a tensile strain on the former, resulting in superior device characteristics. Such a structure can be used for high performance complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CMOS) circuits. Down scaling metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors(MOSFETs) into the deep submicron/nanometer regime forces the source(S) and drain(D) series resistance to become comparable with the channel resistance and thus it cannot be neglected. Owing to the persisting technological importance of strained Si devices, in this work, we propose a multi-iterative technique for evaluating the performance of strained-Si/strained-Si_(1-y)Ge_y/relaxed-Si_(1-x)Ge_x MOSFETs and its related circuits in the presence of S/D series resistance, leading to the development of a simulator that can faithfully plot the performance of the device and related digital circuits. The impact of strain on device/circuit performance is also investigated with emphasis on metal gate and high-k dielectric materials.
