Topological supramolecular polymers are responsible for design of innovative materials with unique physical properties but remain a challenging task to prepare by means of supramolecular *** this contribution,we present a novel method of region-confined amphiphilic supramolecular polymerization(RASP)in a controllable two-step self-organization pathway,which was certified by a new type of pyridine-oxadiazole alternating 48-membered macrocycles with structurally regional distribution of distinct self-assembling groups that can self-organize into circular supramolecular ***,water molecule plays a crucial role in RASP,and the water content in nonpolar solvent chloroform is sensitive to trigger controllable amphiphilic ***,differing from the traditional rodlike micelles formed by self-assembly of linearly amphiphilic molecules,this approach of RASP exclusively gives rise to the formation of circularly assembled supramolecular polymers.

Comparison between several multi-parameter seismic inversion methods in identifying plutonic igneous rocks

With the objective of establishing the necessary conditions for 3-D seismic data from a Permian plutonic oilfield in western China, we compared the technology of several multi-parameter seismic inversion methods in identifying igneous rocks. The most often used inversion methods are Constrained Sparse Spike Inversion (CSSI), Artificial Neural Network Inversion (ANN) and GR Pseudo-impedance Inversion. Through the application of a variety of inversion methods with log curves correction, we obtained relatively high-resolution impedance and velocity sections, effectively identifying the lithology of Permian igneous rocks and inferred lateral variation in the lithology of igneous rocks. By means of a comprehensive comparative study, we arrived at the following conclusions: the CSSI inversion has good waveform continuity, and the ANN inversion has lower resolution than the CSSI inversion. The inversion results show that multi-parameter seismic inversion methods are an effective solution to the identification of igneous rocks.

Early Paleozoic black organic sediments and bentonites occur widely in the craton basin within the Yangtze block and are generally believed to be genetically related to a specific tectonic setting on the cratonic ***,the intimate relationship between their origins and the dynamic mechanisms are unclear,as exemplified by the genesis of the black shale series and bentonites from the Wufeng Formation during the Ordovician–Silurian transition(OST).In order to reveal the relationship between the Wufeng Formation and the convergence of the Yangtze and Cathaysia blocks(i.e.,the intracontinental Kwangsian Orogeny),two stratigraphic sections respectively in Zhaotong area(Northeast Yunnan)and Puyi area(Northwestern Guizhou)that were located in the semi-restricted inner Yangtze Sea during the OST were systematically studied,on the basis of whole-rock geochemical composition,pyriteδ^(34)S(δ^(34)Spy),total organic carbon(TOC),stable Sr isotope,pyrite framboid size distribution and zircon U-Pb age,trace *** evidence shows that the paleo-oceanic environment changed significantly at the turn of the early–late Katian and formed the black shale series in the Wufeng *** acritarch assemblages were formed in the transition process of the Upper Yangtze Basin from passive continental margin basin to foreland basin during this *** on previous research on the genetic relationship between black shale series and plate tectonic movement,a basin-mountain evolution model suitable for South China in the Late Ordovician is *** two bentonites in the Wufeng Formation with U-Pb ages of 445.5±0.8 Ma and 441.9±2.4 Ma primarily originated from the intermediate–acid volcanic eruption during the collision and convergence between the Yangtze and Cathaysia blocks in the Late Ordovician,the provenance region probably being located in the Jiangnan orogenic ***,we believe that the appearance of the black shale series and bentonite in the Wufeng Forma

Active DNA demethylation effectively modulates gene expression during plant development and in response to ***,little is known about the upstream regulatory factors that regulate DNA *** determined that the demethylation regulator 1(demr1)mutant exhibits a distinct DNA methylation profile at selected loci queried by methylation-sensitive polymerase chain reaction and globally based on whole-genome bisulfite ***,the transcript levels of the DNA demethylase gene REPRESSOR OF SILENCING 1(ROS1)were lower in the demr1 *** established that DEMR1 directly binds to the ROS1 promoter in vivo and in vitro,and the methylation level in the DNA methylation monitoring sequence of ROS1 promoter decreased by 60%in the demr1 *** 40%of the hyper-differentially methylated regions(DMRs)in the demr1 mutant were shared with the ros1-4 *** analysis indicated that DEMR1 acts upstream of ROS1 to positively regulate abscisic acid(ABA)signaling during seed germination and seedling establishment ***,the loss of DEMR1 function also caused a rise in methylation levels of the mitochondrial genome,impaired mitochondrial structure and an early flowering ***,our results show that DEMR1 is a novel regulator of DNA demethylation of both the nuclear and mitochondrial genomes in response to ABA and plant development in Arabidopsis.

Macro-and micro-segregation formed upon twin-roll casting(TRC)can be inherited from sub-rapid solid-ification to solid-state transformation,even to plastic deformation,thus deteriorating drastically mechan-ical properties of as-produced thin *** many works focusing mainly on controlling fields of thermal,concentration and convection have been reported,how to control artificially and quantitatively the segregation using a theoretical connection between processing parameters and solidification models,has not been realized,*** it,a systematical framework integrating non-equilibrium dendritic growth and overall solidification kinetics with the TRC parameters,was constructed applying a general-ized stability(GS)conception deduced from transient thermodynamic driving force△G^(t)and transient ki-netic energy barrier Q_(eff)^(t)evolving upon *** from this framework considering synergy of thermodynamics and kinetics(i.e.,thermo-kinetic synergy),a criterion of high△G^(t)-high GS guaranteed that the macro(i.e.,the centerline)and the micro(i.e.,the edge)segregation can be suppressed by in-creasing△G^(t)and GS at the beginning and the ending stage of sub-rapid solidification,*** typical thermo-kinetic combination producing the microstructure can be inherited into the plastic de-formation,as reflected by corresponding strength-ductility *** work realized quantitative controlling of TRC by a theoretical connection between processing parameters and solidification models,where,an optimization for sub-rapid solidification segregation using the GS conception including△G^(t)and Q_(eff)^(t)has been performed.

Earthquake-related electromagnetic observation aims at finding abnormal electromagnetic variation associated with earthquake possibly. The existing studies have proved that this method is, to a large extent, effective in short-term and impending earthquake predication. This paper summarizes progress and discusses some related problems in this field. Some requirements for observation system have been proposed to improve monitoring level. As a case observation using the reformed observation system in Jinghai seismologie station, Tianjin, some results are given.
