对于研究生而言,撰写论文摘要是一项具有挑战性的任务。这是因为论文摘要不仅需要将整个研究内容精炼地概括成几句话,还必须融入相关的背景知识,以便向学术界清晰地传达研究成果。本研究旨在深入探究工科研究生在面对首次发表论文的摘要写作时的应对策略。为达到这一目的,研究者基于一个丰富的学习者语料库,该语料库共计收录了1,746篇摘要,总词数达到117,535个。值得注意的是,这些摘要均由母语为非英语的学生在攻读硕士学位期间,分别使用英语和塞尔维亚语撰写而成。本研究以Hyland的分类法为依据,着重探讨交互式框架标记、交互式参与标记以及元杂名词的应用与影响。经过对塞尔维亚语和英语子语料库中绝对频率、相对频率、统计显著性以及对数可能性的详尽对比分析,可得出结论:学生在塞尔维亚语写作中运用框架标记的频度,显著高于在相同语境下英语写作时的频度。至于参与标记,研究生的摘要显示出非常频繁地使用指令;在两个子语料库中,指令的使用率是框架标记的两倍,而在英语子语料库中,指令的使用率高于塞尔维亚语子语料库。经过严格的定性和定量分析,研究结果和比较揭示了学生在阐述研究目的时所采用的一系列框架标记和元话语名词,以及他们在吸引读者参与研究并进而增强研究可信度时所使用的参与标记所具有的教学意义。

The temporal fluctuations and development of faecal microbiota in commercial layer flocks

A study of pulmonary embolism after abdominal surgery in patients undergoing prophylaxis

AIM： To determine risk factors for pulmonary embolism and estimate effects and benefits of prophylaxis. METHODs： We included 78 patients who died subsequently to a pulmonary embolism after major abdominal surgery from 1985 to 2003. A first, retrospective analysis involved 41 patients who underwent elective surgery between 1985 and 1990 without receiving any prophylaxis. In the prospectively evaluated subgroup, 37 patients undergoing major surgery between 1991 and 2003 were enrolled： all of them had received a prophylaxis consisting in lowmolecular weight heparin, given subcutaneously at a dose of 2850 IU AXa/0.3 mL （body weight 〈 50 kg） or 5700 IU AXa/0.6 mL （body weight ≥ 50 kg）. REsULTs： A higher incidence of thromboembolism （43.9% and 46.34% in the two groups, respectively） was found in older patients （〉 60 years）. The incidence of pulmonary embolism after major abdominal surgery in patients who had received the prophylaxis was significantly lower compared to the subjects with the same condition who had not received any prophylaxis （P 〈 0.001, OR = 2.825; 95% CI, 1.811-4.408）. Furthermore, the incidence of pulmonary embolism after colorectal cancer surgery was significantly higher compared to incidence of pulmonary embolism after other abdominal surgical procedures. Finally, the incidence of pulmonary embolism after colorectal cancer surgery among the patients who had received the prophylaxis （11/4316, 0.26%） was significantly lower compared to subjects undergoing a surgical procedure for the same indication but without prophylaxis （10/1562, 0.64%）（P 〈 0.05, OR = 2.522; 95% Ct, 1.069-5.949）. CONCLUsION： Prophylaxis with low molecular weight heparin is highly recommended during the preoperative period in patients with diagnosis of colorectal cancer due to high risk of pulmonary embolism after elective surgery.

Trends in in ovo sexing technologies:insights and interpretation from papers and patents

Numerous researchers and institutions have been developing in ovo sexing technologies to improve animal welfare by identifying male embryos in an early embryonic stage and disposing of them before pain *** review gives a complete overview of the technological approaches reported in papers and patents by performing a thorough search using Web of science and Patstat/Espacenet databases for papers and patents,*** on a total of 49 papers and 115 patent families reported until May 2023 worldwide,11 technology categories were defined:6 non-optical and 5 optical *** category was described for its characteristics while assessing its potential for ***,the dynamics of the publications of in ovo sexing techniques in both paper and patent fields were described through growth curves,and the interest or actual status was visualized using the number of paper citations and the actual legal status of the *** comparing the reported technologies in papers to those in patents,scientific gaps were observed,as some of the patented technologies were not reported in the scientific literature,e.g.,ion mobility and mass spectrometry ***,more diverse approaches in all categories were found in patents,although they do require more scientific evidence through papers or industrial adoption to prove their ***,although there is a recent trend for non-invasive techniques,invasive methods like analyzing DNA through PCR or hormones through immunosensing are still being reported(and might continue to be)in papers and *** was also observed that none of the technologies complies with all the industry requirements,although 5 companies already entered the *** the one hand,more research and harmony between consumers,industry,and governments is *** the other hand,close monitoring of the market performance of the currently available techniques will offer valuable insights into the potential an

Antibacterial, antifungal and cytotoxic activity of terrestrial cyanobacterial strains from serbia

Cyanobacteria are known to be a rich source of biologically active compounds some of which can have pharmaceutical importance. In this work we present the screening results of cyanobacterial strains for their antibacterial, antifungal, and cytotoxic activity. Cyanobacterial strains were isolated from various soil types in province of Vojvodina and Central serbia, Republic of serbia. The screening included 9 strains of Anabaena and 9 strains of Nostoc. Both, extracellular products (from the culture liquid) and cellular crude lipophilic extracts were tested against 13 bacterial strains and 8 fungal strains. Cytotoxic activity was tested against three human cell lines. Methanol extracts were prepared according to ?stensvik. Antibacterial and antifungal activities were determined measuring inhibition zone, 48 h after inoculation. The cytotoxic activity was determined by sulforhodamine B (sRB) colorimetric assay. Of all cyanobacterial strains tested, 52% showed some antifungal and 41% antibacterial activity. Two out of six tested strains possessed cytotoxic activity. The cytotoxic activity of Anabaena strain s12 was found both in culture liquid and crude cell extract. It occurred specifically between the 21st and 42nd day of cultivation against HeLa and MCF7 cells, but had no activity against cell line derived from a healthy tissue. A high percentage of the active strains among the tested strains justify the effort of screening cyanobacteria that are isolated from terrestrial environments. The most promising strains for the fur- ther study are Anabaena strain s12 which showed strong cytotoxic and antibacterial activity and Ana- baena strain s20 which produces a potent antifungal compound. The future work, besides further screening and chemical identification of the active compounds, should also include the development of culture techniques that would lead to more efficient production of biologically active compounds.
