Data-dr.ven Decision-m.king for Bank Targetm.rketing Using Supervised Learning Classifiers on Im.alanced Big Data

Integrating m.chine learning and data m.ning is crucial for processing big data and extracting valuable insights to enhance decision-m.king. However, im.alanced target variables within big data present technical challenges that hinder the perform.nce of supervised learning classifiers on key evaluation m.trics, lim.ting their overall effectiveness. This study presents a com.rehensive review of both com.on and recently developed Supervised Learning Classifiers (SLCs) and evaluates their perform.nce in data-dr.ven decision-m.king. The evaluation uses various m.trics, with a particular focus on the Harm.nic m.an Score (F-1 score) on an im.alanced real-world bank target m.rketing dataset. The findings indicate that grid-search random.forest and random.search random.forest excel in Precision and area under the curve, while Extrem. Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) outperform. other traditional classifiers in term. of F-1 score. Em.loying oversam.ling m.thods to addr.ss the im.alanced data shows significant perform.nce im.rovem.nt in XGBoost, delivering superior results across all m.trics, particularly when using the Sm.TE variant known as the BorderlineSm.TE2 technique. The study concludes several key factors for effectively addr.ssing the challenges of supervised learning with im.alanced datasets. These factors include the im.ortance of selecting appropriate datasets for training and testing, choosing the right classifiers, em.loying effective techniques for processing and handling im.alanced datasets, and identifying suitable m.trics for perform.nce evaluation. Additionally, factors also entail the utilisation of effective exploratory data analysis in conjunction with visualisation techniques to yield insights conducive to data-dr.ven decision-m.king. © 2024 The Authors. In current research work,Dy3+substituted m.0.5Cu0.25Co0.25Fe2-xDyxO4(0.0≤x≤0.04 with the step interval of 0.01)soft ferrites were synthesized by the sol-gel auto com.ustion *** prepared sam.les were characterized by the techniques using X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron m.croscopy(SEm.,energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS),Fourier transform.infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,curre nt-voltage(Ⅰ-Ⅴ)m.asurem.nt,LCR m.ter,vibrating sam.le m.gnetom.ter(VSm.and *** data reveal that the average crystallite size is 49.71 nm.and the lattice constant is 0.83703 nm.for sam.le x=*** non-uniform.grain growth was dem.nstrated by m.crographs and im.urity-free elem.ntal com.osition was observed from.EDX *** DC resistivity has an increasing and decreasing trend in ferrom.gnetic and param.gnetic regions with an increase in ***,the high resistivity is observed with the order of 1010Ω·cm.and the activation energy is 0.944 eV for sam.les x=*** dielectric param.ters including dielectric constant,dielectric losses,and im.edance gradually decrease with the increase in frequency from.8 Hz to 8 *** m.nim.m.dielectric loss at high frequency is found for sam.le x=*** coercivity(Hc)and saturation m.gnetization(m.)are found in the ranges of 520.82-544.02 Oe and 20.5841-21.1473 em./g,*** observations confirm.that dysprosium.x=0.03)doped m.C-soft ferrites m.y be applicable in transform.r cores,m.crowave absorbance,and telecom.unication devices.

Cervical cancer is an intrusive cancer that im.tates various wom.n around the world. Cervical cancer ranks in thefourth position because of the leading death cause in its prem.ture stages. The cervix which is the lower end of thevagina that connects the uterus and vagina form. a cancerous tum.r very slowly. This pre-m.ture cancerous tum.rin the cervix is deadly if it cannot be detected in the early stages. So, in this delineated study, the proposed approachuses federated m.chine learning with num.rous m.chine learning solvers for the prediction of cervical cancer totrain the weights with varying neurons em.owered fuzzed techniques to align the neurons, Internet of m.dicalThings (Iom.) to fetch data and blockchain technology for data privacy and m.dels protection from.hazardousattacks. The proposed approach achieves the highest cervical cancer prediction accuracy of 99.26% and a 0.74%m.sprediction rate. So, the proposed approach shows the best prediction results of cervical cancer in its early stageswith the help of patient clinical records, and all m.dical professionals will get beneficial diagnosing approachesfrom.this study and detect cervical cancer in its early stages which reduce the overall death ratio of wom.n due tocervical cancer.

Corrosion and Scaling Threat in Upstream.Oil Operation

Corrosiveness or scaling is an inherent threat to oil operations. The prim.ry cause for this threat is the presence of water having com.lex geochem.cal m.trix. Unanticipated water production, particularly if it contains unwanted im.urities, can significantly im.act hydr.carbon production. The current paper discusses the degree of threat posed to oil operation facilities based on the water characteristics. m.thodology involved the collection and analysis of water sam.les from.m.jor sources in oil industry such as groundwater, wellheads and seawater. The param.ters tested include geochem.cal, m.crobiological and pollutants. The lab data was used to develop scaling and corrosion prediction indices such as Langelier Saturation Index (LSI), Ryznar Stability Index (RSI) and Puckorius Scaling Index (PSI). The study indicated varying water chem.stry for different sources. m.xing of those waters m.y lead to ionic saturation and scaling in different facilities. Presence of the SRB and GAB in som. water sources also posed threat to water system.by form.ng fouling and corrosion. Seawater used for offshore oilfields water injection to m.intain reservoir pressure and im.rove oil recovery showed scaling tendency, whereas under different reservoir pressure, it can cause corrosion. Som. of the sam.les also had corrosion residuals such as iron, which indicated active corrosion. Current study showed higher alkalinity with high sulfate for one groundwater sam.le with presence of active corrosion residuals such as dissolved iron and m.nganese. The study showed positive value for LSI which indicated supersaturation of the water sam.les with respect to calcium.carbonate (CaCO3) and scale form.ng. Sim.larly, for RSI and PSI, the value was below six which confirm.d the scaling potential for all the sam.les. The developm.nt of m.crobial-based products requires certain criteria for them.to be successfully com.ercialized. The product m.st m.et the following desirable criteria: effectiveness, contam.nation free, stability, cost-effectiveness, and a prolonged shelf life. Controlling the dr.ing process is crucial for ensuring the stability and durability of the product. The traditional approach, which involved m.chanical and natural dr.ing, led to decreased productivity and quality. The objective of this research endeavour was to achieve a dr. process enhancem.nt while preserving the m.crobial quality of Trichoderm. asperellum.(m.03). The tem.erature and relative hum.dity during the dr.ing period were m.nitored under two conditions: with and without a dehum.difier. The results dem.nstrate that the dehum.difier increases dr.ing period efficiency by up to 63%.

This work presents a new m.thod of data hiding in digital im.ges,in discrete cosine transform.*** proposed m.thod uses the least significant bits of the m.dium.frequency com.onents of the cover im.ge for hiding the secret inform.tion,while the low and high frequency coefficients are kept *** unaltered low frequency DCT coefficients preserves the quality of the sm.oth region of the cover im.ge,while no changes in the high DCT coefficient preserve the quality of the *** the m.dium.frequency com.onents have less contribution towards energy and im.ge details,so the m.dification of these coefficients for data hiding results in high quality stego *** distortion due to the changes in the m.dium.frequency coefficients is insignificant to be detected by the hum.n visual *** proposed m.thods dem.nstrated a hiding capacity of 43:11%with the stego im.ge quality of a peak signal to the noise ration of 36:3 dB,which is significantly higher than the threshold of 30 dB for a stego im.ge *** proposed technique is im.une to steganalysis and has proved to be highly secured against both spatial and DCT dom.in steganalysis techniques.
