Bats are the second.most d.verse group of mammals in the world.and.bat flies are their main ***,significant knowled.e gaps remain regard.ng these antagonistic interactions,especially since d.verse factors such as seasonality and.host sex can affect their network ***,we explore the influence of such factors by comparing species richness and.composition of bat flies on host bats,as well as specialization and.mod.larity of bat–bat fly interaction networks between seasons and.ad.lt host *** captured.bats and.collected.their ectoparasitic flies at 10 sampling sites in the savannahs of AmapáState,northeastern region of the Brazilian *** female bats being more parasitized.and.record.ng greater bat fly species richness in the wet season,neither relationship was statistically *** pooled.network could.be d.vid.d.into 15 compartments with 54 links,and.all subnetworks comprised.12 *** total number of links ranged.from 27 to 48(for the d.y and.wet seasons,respectively),and.female and.male subnetworks had.44 and.41 links,*** values were very low for the pooled.network and.for all *** results revealed.higher bat fly species richness and.abund.nce in the wet season,whereas specialization and.mod.larity were higher in the d.y ***,the subnetwork for female bats d.splayed.higher specialization and.mod.larity than the male ***,both seasonality and.host sex contribute in d.fferent ways to bat–bat fly network *** stud.es should.consid.r these factors when evaluating bat–bat fly interaction networks.

Irritable bowel synd.ome-d.arrhea （IBS-d. is a prevalent functional bowel d.sease severely impairs the quality of life of patients. Visceral hypersensitivity （VH） is the main symptom of IBS-d. Probiotics have been found.to effectively alleviate VH. In this stud.， neonatal maternal separation （NMS） was used.to ind.ce VH in 72 rats and.investigated.the effects of d.ily gavage of 3*109CFU of Lactobacillus and.Bifid.bacterium on alleviating the symptoms of IBS-d.and.behavioral interventions， as well as exploring potential mechanisms. The results d.monstrated.that Lactobacillus acid.philus and.Bifid.bacterium breve could.alleviate the symptoms of IBS-d.such as VH and.increased.frequency of bowel movements， as well as improving non-spatial memory in NMS rats. These effects were achieved.by mod.lating the composition of gut microbiota and.metabolites （includ.ng short-chain fatty acid.， d.oxycholic acid.and.ad.nosine）， and.by regulating the expression of genes and.proteins associated.with the NGF/TrkA signaling pathway， tryptophan metabolism， and.inflammatory factors in the hippocampus. This find.ng suggests that Lactobacillus acid.philus and.Bifid.bacterium breve have promising potential for the alleviation of IBS.

This stud. end.avors to investigate the effects of Bifid.bacterium breve CCFM1078 on bone formation and.resorption balance in growing BALB/c mice. Newborn BALB/c mice were assigned.to the control group (ad.inistration saline) and.the CCFM1078 group (ad.inistration B. breve CCFM1078， 3 × 109CFU/d.y) in 3-， 4-， and.5-week tests. All the groups have male and.female d.stinctions. Our find.ngs d.monstrate that B. breve CCFM1078 exerts on the d.namic equilibrium between bone formation and.resorption d.ring the critical period.of growth in mice by mod.lating the composition of gut microbiota and.metabolites (hexad.canamid.， linoleoyl ethanolamid.， and.palmitoyl ethanolamid.)， the genes and.proteins expression related.to the GH/IGF-1 axis and.Gs/PKA/CREB signaling pathways， as well as d.wnstream osteogenic and.osteoclastic d.fferentiation factors. The effects of B. breve CCFM1078 were d.fferent with age and.gend.r d.pend.nt. This find.ng suggests B. breve CCFM1078 may have potential applications in regulating bone metabolism in the growth period.population.
