This study examined whether family-owned firms have advantages for accessing external financial sources for *** in developing countries with imperfect markets,firms can face difficulties accessing external financing sources;however,family-owned firms might have some advantages in this regard over nonfamily *** previous studies,this study considered that,in the Turkish context,nonfamily firms are financially constrained while family firms are *** examine this hypothesis,we used the generalized method of moments(GMM)approach to analyze panel data from 2006 to *** findings showed that financing constraints were a significant obstacle to growth for nonfamily-owned manufacturing firms while the effect was not present for family firms since they are controlled by large,well-established family *** results elucidate the relationship between corporate ownership and growth among Turkish firms,especially those with strong links to large family-owned *** results also revealed that reputation and network may facilitate easier access to external financing sources,especially when considering the“Big Six”family ties of firms.

采用在平焊优化过的激光焊接参数对钛合金进行立焊,立向上焊时烧穿倾向较大,气孔倾向较小;立向下焊时烧穿倾向较小,气孔倾向较大.基于体积分数法(VOF)建立了追踪小孔界面的数值计算模型模拟小孔和熔池流动行为,分析了焊接位置对激光立焊烧穿和气孔倾向的影响机制.结果表明,立向上焊时焊接方向与重力相反,小孔所受静水压力较小,小孔易于长大,小孔空腔所需的液态金属得不到有效补充,烧穿倾向增加.立向下焊时焊接方向与重力一致,小孔振荡导致崩塌卷气,所生成的气泡缺乏逸出通道,气孔倾向增加.

The use of stem cells for regenerating damaged organs and tissues which are unable to heal on their own is a widely studied field in plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as medicine in general. Among various stem cell types, adipose-derived stem cells (ASCs) are especially considered to be an ideal stem cell population for several clinical situations. These cells could be harvested from fat with relatively less invasive methods with high yield rates. ASCs have proved to be worthy of more research to understand the mechanisms behind their regenerative abilities. However, it remains uncertain if ASCs show their main effects by their multipotency, or by secreting abundant amounts of cytokines and growth factors. The authors have performed a review of the current publications and literature on the ASCs'' immunophenotypical properties and isolation methods as well as basic and clinical science research about the mechanisms behind their regenerative effects. The purpose of this article is to synthesize information regarding ASCs'' paracrine effects and their ability to differentiate into other cell lines, comparing these aspects in order to lead future research for a more effective cell therapy utilizing these cells.

Deviation of the H+concentration from optimum values within the organelles is closely associated with irregular cellular functions that cause the onset of various ***,determining subcellular pH values in live cells and tissues is valuable for diagnostic *** this study,we report a novel ratiometric fluorescence probe 1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid,4-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)-3-(2,4-dihydroxy-3-methylphenyl)-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylicacid4-(2-benz othiazolyl)-5-(2,4-dihydroxy-3-methylphenyl),to which we will refer as ThiAKS Green(Thiazole AKyol shifting green),that is pH *** results presented here show that the probe can penetrate the celi membrane in iess than 30minutes and does not show any detectable *** measured color shifts up on pH change are linear and most significant around physiological pH(pKa=7.45),thus making this probe suitable for live-cell imaging and intracellular pH *** the long-incubation periods following the application of the probe and the fluorescent microscopy measurements,it shows stable properties and is easy to detect in live *** conclusion,the results suggest that ThiAKS Green can be used to obtain precise information on the H+distribution at various compartments of the live cells.

We hereby described two cases with unilateral Purtscher-like retinopathy. The first case occurred following an uneventful spontaneous vaginal delivery. The second case had no discernable cause despite having meticulous systemic work-up. Both eyes had low presenting visual acuity of hand movements and 20/200 consecutively. We elected to inject 1 mg triamcinolone acetolamide in-travitreally for the treatment. Though, there was some subjective visual and clinical improvement within time in both patients, we were not convinced that intravitreal injection was superior to no treatment approach.

Introduction and Objective: The aim of this research was to find out the interaction of anthropometric measurements particularly body mass and oral health status of Turkish young adult nationals regionally, depending on the effects of diet (food and fluid consumption), smoking and tooth brushing habits, which were determined by using the body mass index (BMI) and dental health index (DMFT). Material and Methods: The BMI and DMFT of 202 cases, with an age average 22.5 years, were recorded through physical and clinical examinations. Statistical evaluation of the data was checked by Cronbach’s Alpha Reliability Scale and performed by analysis of variance, Somer’s d and Pearson Chi-Square statistics, Poisson Regression and Odds Ratio analysis. Results: The results showed that the mean of BMI was at the optimum level (21.52) for all cases. The DMFT was higher for underweight females and for overweight males. The mean of DMFT according to sexes seemingly had no significant difference;however, females had 8.6% more DMFT than males. When the risk factors of dental caries were evaluated, the DMFT was found as 19.3% more for cases consuming high carbohydrate foods, 4.5% more for high beverage consumption and 18% more for smokers. Conclusions: In conclusion, tooth brushing 3 or more times a day is necessary to decrease the DMFT and tooth brushing 3 times a day as opposed to 1 or 2 times shows significant difference regarding oral health.
