AIM:To investigate the trabecular-iris angle with ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) post cataract extraction after an acute attack of phacomorphic angle closure. ·METHODS:This prospective study involved 10 cases of phacomorphic angle closure that underwent cataract extraction and intraocular lens insertion after intraocular pressure (IOP) lowering. Apart from visual acuity and IOP, the trabecular-iris angle was measured by gonioscopy and UBM at 3 months post attack. ·RESULTS:In 10 consecutive cases of acute phaco-morphic angle closure from December 2009 to December 2010, gonioscopic findings showed peripheral anterior synechiae (PAS) ≤90° in 30% of phacomorphic patients and a mean Shaffer grading of (3.1±1.0). UBM showed a mean angle of (37.1°±4.5°) in the phacomorphic eye with the temporal quadrant being the most opened and (37.1°±8.0°) in the contralateral uninvolved eye. The mean time from consultation to cataract extraction was (1.4 ± 0.7) days and the mean total duration of phacomorphic angle closure was (3.6 ±2.8) days but there was no correlation to the degree of angle closure on UBM (Spearman correlation P =0.7). The presenting mean IOP was (50.5±7.4) mmHg and the mean IOP at 3 months was (10.5±3.4) mmHg but there were no correlations with the degree of angle closure (Spearman correlations P =0.9). CONCLUSION:Anopentrabecular-irisangleandnormal IOP can be achieved after an acute attack of pha-comorphic angle closure if cataract extraction is performed within 1 day-2 days after IOP control. Gonioscopic findings were in agreement with UBM,which provided a more specific and object angle measurement. The superior angle is relatively more narrowed compared to the other quadrants. All contralateral eyes in this series had open angles.

Dear Editor,In multicellular eukaryotes,Polycomb repression heritably si-lences gene expression programs not needed or detrimental for a given developmental stage or tissue(Schuettengruber et al.,2017).During cell fate reprogramming,Polycomb silencing can be overcome by the combined activity of multiple Trithorax group(TrxG)proteins(wu et al.,2012;Liang et al.,2015;Schuettengruber et al.,2017).TrxG proteins are genetically defined as suppressors of homeotic defects caused by loss of Polycomb function and have diverse enzymatic activities(Schuettengruber et al.,2017).we used a genetic enhancer screen to identify candidate TrxG proteins and uncovered TrxG activity for components of the SwR1 chromatin remodeling complex,which deposits the histone variant H2A.Z(Deal et al.,2007;March-Diaz et al.,2008).

Background Domestic violence （DV） is not only a devastating societal problem, but also a severe medical and mental health problem worldwide. Our previous study has shown that perpetrators were with higher prevalence of self-reported symptoms than that of controls. This study based on our former large scale population-based samples is aimed to further explore the correlations between the symptoms and psychosocial factors of the perpetrators with DV. It was helpful to provide some insight into possible strategies for clinicians to reduce the symptoms of the perpetrators with DV in *** from our former population-based epidemiological samples, 1098 households with a history of DV in preceding year, 318 perpetrators with DV were randomly selected. face-to-face interviews were conducted. Symptom Checklist-90 （SCL-90） was administrated to check and classify the symptoms of perpetrators, Eysenck＇s personality questionnaire（EPQ）, trait coping style questionnaire （TCSQ）, life events scale （LES） and social supporting rating scale （SSRS） were administrated to evaluate the psychosocial factors of perpetrators. The correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationships between the symptoms and psychosocial factors of perpetrators of DV. Results The global and all subscale scores of SCL-90 were significantly positively correlated with EPQ-N, negative TCSQ and negative LES scores （P〈0.01）. The global score of SCL-90 was negatively correlated with both objective and subjective SSRS （P〈0.01）. The negative LES and negative TCSQ were significantly positively correlated with EPQ-N （P 〈0.01）. Negative TCSQ was significantly positively correlated with negative LES and negatively correlated with subjective SSRS （P〈0.01）.Conclusions The self-reported symptoms of perpetrators with DV were strongly correlated with their psychosocial factors, such as the neurotic personality, negative coping style, more negative life events and less subjective social supports. Ammonium uptake in plant roots is mediated by AMT/MEP/Rh-type ammonium transporters. Out of five AMTs being expressed in Arabidopsis roots, four AMT1-type transporters contribute to ammonium uptake, whereas no physiological function has so far been assigned to the only homolog belonging to the MEP subfamily, AMT2;1. Based on the observation that under ammonium supply, the transcript levels of AMT2;1 increased and its promoter activity shifted preferentially to the pericycle, we assessed the contribution of AMT2;1 to xylem loading. when exposed to ^15N-labeled ammonium, amt2;1 mutant lines translocated less tracer to the shoots and contained less ammonium in the xylem sap. Moreover, in an amtl;1 amtl;2 amtl ;3 amt2;1 quadruple mutant （qko）, co-expression of AMT2;1 with either AMT1;2 or AMT1;3 significantly enhanced ^15N translocation to shoots, indicating a cooperative action between AMT2;1 and AMT1 transporters. Under N deficiency, proAMT2;1-GfP lines showed enhanced promoter activity predominantly in cortical root cells, which coincided with elevated ammonium influx conferred by AMT2;1 at millimolar sub- strate concentrations. Our results indicate that in addition to contributing moderately to root uptake in the low-affinity range, AMT2;1 functions mainly in root-to-shoot translocation of ammonium, depending on its Cell-type-specific expression in response to the plant nutritional status and to local ammonium gradients.

药品和个人护理品(PPCPs)因其潜在的环境和健康风险受到了广泛关注。实验选取8种典型药品为对象,采用中试规模的活性炭工艺研究了其去除效果和影响因素。结果表明,活性炭工艺对安替比林、达舒平、舒必利、磺胺甲唑、泰妙菌素和氧苄胺嘧啶等的去除率为50%～90%,对林肯霉素和氨糖美辛的去除率均小于35%。典型药品的去除率受到滤速、有机物和pH等因素的影响,其中,氨糖美辛、林肯霉素和泰妙菌素等的去除率受滤速影响较大;磺胺甲唑的去除率受pH影响较大。有机物对典型药品去除率的影响既有促进作用,又有抑制作用。典型药品的物化性质对其去除行为有重要影响,这有利于从分子水平上认识活性炭工艺对典型药品的去除机理。
