A grain boundary diffusion process(GBDP)was adopted to improve magnetic properties of Dy-free highly coercive Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet by coating thin layers of Nd and Cu in grain *** GBDP of Nd and Cu,Nd and Cu were coated by wet process,e.g.,electrochemical and electroless on Nd-Fe-B magnets,which was fabricated by hot-deformed/die-upset with meltspun *** treatment was performed for 20 min at 600℃followed by several different cooling *** cooling conditions after heat treatment were varied to understand distribution and micros tructural effects of Nd and Cu species in grain *** coercivity increased from 1.565 to 1.637 T in oil cooling rate but remanence decreased,while remanence jumped with little decrease in coercivity in furnace *** tructure analyses suggested that the coercivity was closely related to the cooling rate as well as distribution of *** mechanism of coercivity enhancement due to the cooling rate was discussed based on the results presented here and those in the literature.

The cylinder block/valve plate interface is one of the most critical frictional interfaces of the swashplate-type axial piston ***,the poor lubrication interface caused rapid wear and high friction loss in an elastohydrodynamic lubrication system,decreasing the pump *** resistant bronze coatings were fabricated on 38CrMoAl substrate by Physical Vapor Deposition(PVD)and Chemical Vapor Deposition(CVD),***-on-disc wear tests were performed to comparatively investigate the wear behaviors of the coatings and bulk ductile iron *** can be found that the PVD-bronze coating exhibited better wear resistance than the other two *** enhanced wear resistance was attributed to the unique composite microstructure and desired mechanical strength,which could resist to mechanical shear and spallation,decreasing friction *** appropriate hardness of(1.33±0.07)GPa could be beneficial for enhancing its wear *** PVD-bronze coating possessed a much lower and stable coefficient of friction(about 0.1)and wear rate(about 6000μm3.N-1.m-1)under the loading forces of about 100 N after 20 *** wear mechanism was the abrasive wear.

Accumulating evidence suggests that oxidative stress and the Wnt/β-catenin pathway participate in stroke-induced disruption of the blood-brain ***,the potential links between them following ischemic stroke remain largely *** present study found that cerebral ischemia leads to oxidative stress and repression of the Wnt/β-catenin ***,Wnt/β-catenin pathway activation by the pharmacological inhibito r,TWS119,relieved oxidative stress,increased the levels of cytochrome P4501B1(CYP1B1)and tight junction-associated proteins(zonula occludens-1[ZO-1],occludin and claudin-5),as well as brain microvascular density in cerebral ischemia *** r,rat brain microvascular endothelial cells that underwent oxygen glucose deprivation/reoxygenation displayed intense oxidative stress,suppression of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway,aggravated cell apoptosis,downregulated CYP1B1and tight junction protein levels,and inhibited cell prolife ration and *** ofβ-catenin or knockdown ofβ-catenin and CYP1B1 genes in rat brain mic rovascular endothelial cells at least partly ameliorated or exacerbated these effects,*** addition,small interfering RNA-mediatedβ-catenin silencing decreased CYP1B1 expression,whereas CYP1B1 knoc kdown did not change the levels of glycogen synthase kinase 3β,Wnt-3a,andβ-catenin proteins in rat brain microvascular endothelial cells after oxygen glucose deprivatio n/***,the data suggest that CYP1B1 can be regulated by Wnt/β-catenin signaling,and activation of the Wnt/β-catenin/CYP1B1 pathway contributes to alleviation of oxidative stress,increased tight junction levels,and protection of the blood-brain barrier against ischemia/hypoxia-induced injury.

High-entropy diboride has been arousing considerable interest in recent ***,the low toughness and damage tolerance limit its applications as ultra-high-temperature structural *** we report that a unique SiB_(6) additive has been first incorporated as boron and silicon sources to fabricate a high-entropy boride(Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2)Hf_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Ta_(0.2))B_(2)–SiC composite though one-step boro/carbothermal reduction reactive sintering.A synergetic effect of high-entropy sluggish diffusion and SiC secondary phase retarded the grain growth of the(Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2)Hf_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Ta_(0.2))B_(2)–51SiC *** small grain size was beneficial to shorten the diffusion path for mass transport,thereby enhancing the relative density to~99.3%.These results in an increase of fracture toughness from~5.2 in HEBS-1900 to~7.7 MPa·m^(1/2) in HEBS-2000,which corresponded to a large improvement of 48%.The improvement was attributed to a mixed mode of intergranular and transgranular cracking for offering effective pinning in crack propagation,resulting from balanced grain boundary strength collectively affected by improved densification,solid solution strengthening,and incorporation of SiC secondary phase.

The limitations of current drug-eluting stent technologies in selectively inhibiting vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation,which often leads to inflammation,call for innovative approaches in coronary artery disease *** the present work,we propose a revolutionary solution:a three-in-one platform for vascular stents,combining arsenic trioxide(ATO)and tacrolimus(TAC)to address anti-proliferation,pro-endothelialization,and anti-inflammation *** findings demonstrate that the synergistic action of ATO and TAC effectively suppresses aberrant vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation and mitigates endothelial cell ***,the combination treatment of TAC/ATO enhances endothelial cell migration and adhesion ***,our TAC/ATO-eluting stent exhibits superior re-endothelialization and anti-restenosis effects in a rabbit and porcine stent implantation *** in vitro and in vivo results solidify the notion that the TAC/ATO-eluting stent ensures rapid re-endothelialization and significantly reduces the incidence of in-stent ***,this study represents a promising and novel multifunctional platform with immense potential in the therapy of coronary artery disease.

饮食与族裔身份政治关系密切,是文化批评的一个重要考察维度。美国女作家露易丝·厄德里克的长篇小说《守夜人》中有大量与印第安人饮食相关的叙述,其中的饮品叙述更是构成了复杂、动态的印第安族裔身份政治隐喻:小说人物对饮品的称呼、态度及饮用细节,隐含着厄德里克对美国社会族裔身份政治的思考,酒与咖啡等外来饮品指涉印第安人在现代社会中遭遇的危机与挑战,以及他们现代身份的多重杂糅状态,茶、水与树汁等自然之水则帮助土著人获得身份认同,找到心灵归属,作家本人也借此达成文学审美救赎。

The food additive titanium dioxide is commonly utilized to enhance the appearance and flavor of food ***,this substance has been linked to gastrointestinal *** aim of this study was to investigate the impact of dietary exposure of titanium dioxide E171 on Listeria monocytogenes infection in *** were mainly divided into the control,LM group(*** infection),and E171+LM groups(E171 supplementation before *** infection).Pre-exposure to E171 resulted in increased bacterial counts in the liver,spleen,ileum,colon,mesenteric lymph nodes,and feces of mice after *** ***,E171 exposure increased the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines while attenuating the levels of anti-inflammatory cytokines in mice infected with ***,mice in the E171+LM group exhibited considerably more severe colonic inflammation and worse intestinal barrier function than mice in the LM *** 16S rRNA gene sequencing revealed a shift in the composition of the gut microbiota of mice in the E171+LM group,characterized by a decrease in the relative abundance of Firmicutes and a decrease in the Firmicutes-to-Bacteroidetes *** levels of acetate,butyrate,and isobutyrate were markedly decreased within the cecum of mice in the E171+LM group in comparison to mice in the LM *** conclusion,these results suggest that E171 exposure could exacerbate *** infection in mice,which may provide useful information for future risk assessment of this commonly used food additive.

Background:Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is a worldwide public health *** and prevention before the onset of rheumatic diseases is a new direction in current ***:The aim of this study was to evaluate the potential and feasibility of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in the prevention of ***:This was a single-armed prospective clinical *** participants were recruited from a single center in Guangdong,*** who were tested positive for anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody(anti-CCP)and/or rheumatoid factor(RF),had no synovitis and never been treated with disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs(DMARDs),were enrolled to take the Huayu-Qiangshen-Tongbi(HQT)decoction orally twice daily,200 mL each time for 24 *** outcome was the proportion of patients who met 2010 ACR(American College of Rheumatology)/EULAR(European League Against Rheumatism)classification criteria of RA during *** outcomes included levels of anti-CCP,RF,erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP),assessment of signs and symptoms,and radiographic progression by magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).Results:19 individuals were enrolled in the study,4 of which withdrew because of the epidemic of *** the observation period,3 individuals(20%)developed RA and they had longer morning stiffness(P=0.009)and more obvious synovial enhancement in MRI(P=0.041)at baseline when compared with those who did not develop *** 24 weeks of intervention,there were improvements in 28-swollen joint count(SJC28)(P=0.046),Visual Analog Scale(VAS)(P=0.019),Patient’s Global Assessment(PtGA)(P=0.019)and Physician’s Global Assessment(PGA)(P=0.031),but no statistical significance was observed in the levels of anti-CCP,RF,ESR,CRP,morning stiffness,28-tender joint count(TJC28),Health Assessment Questionnaire(HAQ)and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)analysis(P>0.05).Conclusion:The HQT formula is safe and could improve joint symptoms and s
