A microgravity environment has been shown to cause ocular damage and affect visual acuity,but the underlying mechanisms remain ***,we established an animal model of weightlessness via tail suspension to examine the pathological changes and molecular mechanisms of retinal damage under *** 4 weeks of tail suspension,there were no notable alterations in retinal function and morphology,while after 8 weeks of tail suspension,significant reductions in retinal function were observed,and the outer nuclear layer was thinner,with abundant apoptotic *** investigate the mechanism underlying the degenerative changes that occurred in the outer nuclear layer of the retina,proteomics was used to analyze differentially expressed proteins in rat retinas after 8 weeks of tail *** results showed that the expression levels of fibroblast growth factor 2(also known as basic fibroblast growth factor)and glial fibrillary acidic protein,which are closely related to Müller cell activation,were significantly *** addition,Müller cell regeneration and Müller cell gliosis were observed after 4 and 8 weeks,respectively,of simulated *** findings indicate that Müller cells play an important regulatory role in retinal outer nuclear layer degeneration during weightlessness.

Identification of massive molecular markers in Echinochloa phyllopogon using a restriction-site associated DNA approach

Echinochloa phyUopogon proliferation seriously threatens rice production worldwide. We combined a restriction-site associated DNA （RAD） approach with Illumina DNA sequencing for rapid and mass discovery of simple sequence repeat （SSR） and single nucleotide polymorphism （SNP） markers for E. phyllopogon. RAD tags were generated from the genomic DNA of two E. phyUopogon plants, and sequenced to produce 5197.7 Mb and 5242.9 Mb high quality sequences, respectively. The gC content of E. phyllopogon was 45.8%, which is high for monocots. In total, 4710 putative SSRs were identified in 4132 contigs, which permitted the design of PCR primers for E. phyllopogon. Most repeat motifs among the SSRs identified were dinucleotide （〉82%）, and most of these SSRs were four motif-repeats （〉75%）. The most frequent motif was AT, accounting for 36.3%-37.2%, followed by Ag and AC. In total, 78 putative polymorphic SSR loci were found. A total of 49,179 SNPs were discovered between the two samples of E. phyllopogon, 67.1% of which were transversions and 32.9% were transitions. We used eight SSRs to study the genetic diversity of four E. phyllopogon populations collected from rice fields in China and all eight loci tested were polymorphic.

Earth-abundant magnetite(Fe_(3)O_(4))as cathode materials in aqueous zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs)is limited by its very low capacity and poor ***,a combined strategy based on carbon coating and electrolyte optimization is adopted to improve the performance of Fe_(3)O_(4).The Zn-Fe_(3)O_(4)@C batteries display specific capacities of 93 mAh g^(−1) and 81%capacity retention after 200 *** performance is attributed to the enhanced electrical conductivity and structural stability of Fe_(3)O_(4)@C nanocomposites with suppressed iron *** analysis reveals that the charge storage is contributed by diffusion-limited redox reactions and surface-controlled pseudocapacitance.A stretchable Zn-Fe_(3)O_(4)@C battery is further fabricated,showing stable performance when it is bent or ***_(3)O_(4) is a promising cathode material for cost-effective,safe,sustainable and wearable energy supplies.

Toy model that explains the regulation of cholesterol on lipid rafts

Cholesterol,as a common lipid on mammalian cell membranes,plays an important role in the formation of lipid *** experiments suggest that the strength of cholesterol's regulation on lipid rafts can be affected by the length of the unsaturated phospholipid acyl chain on the *** order to understand this observation,a simplified toy model containing three different molecules is proposed in this paper,where the tail length of phospholipids is *** model shows the regulation of membrane cholesterol on the phase separation of the lipid mixture and the formation of nano-domains,and also suggests that the configuration entropy of phospholipid tails is an essential factor.

Cambrian faults and their control on the sedimentation and reservoirs in the Ordos Basin, NW China

Comprehensively utilizing the seismic,logging,drilling and outcrop data,this research studies the characteristics of the Cambrian faults and their control on the sedimentation and reservoirs in the Ordos *** results show that:(1)Three groups of faults striking North-East(NE),near East-West(EW),and North-West(NW)were developed in the *** NE and near EW faults,dominated by the normal faults,are the synsedimentary faults and the main faults of the Cambrian.(2)According to the roles of faults in tectonic units and the development scale of the faults,the Cambrian faults can be divided into three *** second-grade faults,large in scale,controlled the boundary of the Cambrian sags of the Ordos *** third-grade faults,smaller in scale than the second-grade fault,controlled the high and low fluctuations of local *** fourth-grade faults,very small in scale,were adjusting faults developed inside the local tectonic units.(3)The Cambrian faults had strong control on the sedimentation and reservoir of the *** by the second-grade and the third-grade faults,the paleogeographical framework of the Cambrian presents combination characteristics of the bulge-sag macro-structures and the high-low differentiation *** paleogeographical pattern not only controlled the development of the oolitic beach facies in the Cambrian but also the distribution of high-quality reservoirs.(4)Under the control of the faults,the micro-paleogeomorphological high parts closely adjacent to the margin of the Cambrian sags are the favorable exploration areas.

Characteristics and accumulation mode of large-scale Sinian-Cambrian gas reservoirs in the gaoshiti-Moxi region, Sichuan Basin

The Sinian-Cambrian formations of the Sichuan Basin have favorable hydrocarbon accumulation conditions,but the exploration for large-scale gas fields is quite challenging due to old strata and multiple tectonic *** the weiyuan Sinian large gas field was found in 1964,the largest monoblock gas field(Anyue gasfield)was discovered in the Cambrian Longwangmiao Formation of the Moxi region in 2013 with proven gas reserves of 440.1×109 *** proven,probable and possible reserves exceed one trillion cubic meters in the Sinian Dengying Formation and the Cambrian Longwangmiao Formation of the gaoshiti-Moxi *** natural gas components,light hydrocarbons,reservoir bitumen abundance and other evidences prove that the dry natural gas was mainly derived from oil-cracking,with methane(a content of 82.65%-97.35%),ethane(a content of 0.01%-0.29%),nitrogen(a content of 0.44%-6.13%),helium(a content of 0.01%-0.06%),and hydrogen sulphide(0.62-61.11 g/m^(3)).gas reservoir pressure increases gradually from the Sinian normal pressure(a pressure coefficient of 1.07-1.13)to high pressure(a pressure coefficient of 1.53-1.70)in the Cambrian Longwangmiao *** temperature of the gas reservoir is 137.5-163 ℃.gas reservoir traps are divided into three categories:tectonic type,tectonic-formation type and tectonic-lithologic *** large-scale enrichment of the Sinian-Cambrian natural gas results from effective configuration of the large stable inherited palaeo-uplift during the Tongwan tectonic movement,wide distribution of ancient source rocks,high-quality reservoirs with vast pore-cavity,crude oil cracking of large palaeo-reservoirs and favorable preservation *** to the palaeo-structure pattern prior to crude oil cracking of the palaeo-reservoirs,and bitumen abundance as well as the distribution characteristics of current gas reservoirs,the accumulation patterns of the cracking gas reservoir can be classified into three types:accumulation type,sem

Tectono–sedimentary Evolution of the Late Triassic Xujiahe Formation in the Sichuan Basin

The early stage of Sichuan Basin formation was controlled by the convergence of three major Chinese continental blocks during the Indosinian orogeny that include South China,North China,and Qiangtang *** the Late Triassic Xujiahe Formation is assumed to represent the commencement of continental deposition in the Sichuan Basin,little research is available on the details of this particular *** stratigraphic analysis reveals that the Xujiahe Formation comprises four third-order depositional ***,two tectono-sedimentary evolution stages,deposition and denudation,have been *** wedge-shaped geometry revealed in a cross section of the southern Sichuan Basin normal to the Longmen Shan fold-thrust belt is displayed for the entire Xujiahe *** depositional extent did not cover the Luzhou paleohigh during the LST1 to LST2 （LST,TST and HST mean Iowstand,transgressive and highstand systems tracts,1,2,3 and 4 represent depositional sequence 1,2,3 and 4）,deltaic and fluvial systems fed sediments from the Longmen Shan belt,Luzhou paleohigh,Hannan dome,and Daba Shan paleohigh into a foreland basin with a centrally located *** forebulge of the western Sichuan foreland basin was located southeast of the Luzhou paleohigh after *** to the principle of nonmarine sequence stratigraphy and the lithology of the Xujiahe Formation,four thrusting events in the Longmen Shan fold-thrust belt were distinguished,corresponding to the basal boundaries of sequences 1,2,3,and *** northern Sichuan Basin was tilted after the deposition of sequence 3,inducing intensive erosion of sequences 3 and 4,and formation of wedge-shaped deposition geometry in sequence 4 from south to *** tilting probably resulted from small-scale subduction and exhumation of the western South China block during the South and North China block collision.

Silurian to Devonian foreland basin in the south edge of Tarim Basin

Based on the theory of plate tectonics, combin-ing with the isotopic dating of ophiolite, igneous and volcan-ics, geochemical test, rare earth element analyze and seismicinterpretation, this paper studies the pre-Carboniferous tec-tonics and sedimentary formation of the south edge of theTarim Basin and proves that there exists the Kunlun Oceanunder tensional tectonics during the Sinian and Cambrian inthe south edge of the Tarim Plate. After that, due to the colli-sion orogenesis, there formed the peripheral foreland basinin the south edge of Tarim. The Upper Silurian and Devo-nian molasses sedimentary system superposed on the Sinianand Middle Silurian passive margin flysch sedimentary sys-tem and formed the bivariate structure of the foreland *** at the same time, based on the field geology and seismicinterpretation, we have identified that the formation of theSilurian and Devonian have the character of half depositwhich shows thick in the south area and thin in the north,and the pre-Carboniferous thrust compression tectonics re-mained in the foreland thrust belt, which further demon-strates that there existed the Silurian and Devonian periph-eral foreland basin on the south edge of the Tarim Basin.

Variation characteristics and prediction of pollutant concentration during winter in Lanzhou New District, China

PM2.5 and PM10 were the main air pollutants during winter in Lanzhou New District,*** this paper,WRF model output combined with hourly monitoring data of pollutant concentration was used to analyze characteristics of the concentration change and to study the relationship between meteorological elements and PM10/PM2.5 in Lanzhou New District in January,***,the concentration changes of PM2.5 and PM10 were predicted by wavelet analysis combined with BP neural *** results show that:(1)Due to the cold front process in winter,PM2.5 was negatively correlated with the water vapor mixing ***10 was positively correlated with air temperature and negatively correlated with air pressure.(2)There was an inversion layer in the atmosphere near the high value day of PM2.5 and PM10,the surface was controlled by low pressure,low wind speed,and the situation of low value day of PM2.5 was the *** the day of high value of PM10,the air temperature below 600 hPa was higher,and the wind speed near the surface was also higher.(3)Wavelet analysis combined with BP(Back Propagation)neural network had a good prediction effect on PM2.5,which could basically reflect the hourly change of PM2.5 ***,the simulation effect of PM10 was poor,and the input parameters of surrounding pollutants should be added to improve the prediction effect.

Low-velocity resistance distortion and bionic drag reduction for ship-type paddy field machinery

The resistance between mud surface and ship-type paddy field machine hull accounts for a certain proportion of the total mechanical power consumption during the operation *** special characteristic has been found via preliminary study,it showed that when starting or working at low velocity,the resistance is much greater than the machine working at the rated *** characteristic affects the dynamic matching and structural design of the *** critical velocity of resistance distortion was around 0.025 m/s under the setting experimental conditions,and the mechanism of resistance distortion under multi-medium was *** on water film drag reduction theory,a macroscopic structure of crocodile's abdominal armor biomimetic drag reduction method was *** kinds of bionic macroscopic structure ship board were *** macroscopic structure can introduce more water into the bottom surface of the hull;thicken the water film,which can reduce the travel *** and manufacture a ship-type paddy field experimental setup with velocity control,and compare the traditional smooth surface ship board with the two bionic macroscopic structure surfaces through orthogonal *** experiment results demonstrated that the ship board with rectangle gully structure has better drag reduction effect than the hexagon one in the lower *** when the travel velocity approach to the resistance distortion critical point,the hexagon gully structure become better than the other *** the orthogonal test,the best drag reduction combination is 2.5 kg load weight,0.025 m/s travel velocity with hexagon ship board,which decreases the drag by 6.3%.
