Covert communication technology makes wireless communication more secure,but it also provides more opportunities for illegal users to transmit harmful *** order to detect the illegal covert communication of the lawbreakers in real time for subsequent processing,this paper proposes a Gamma approximation-based detection method for multi-antenna covert communication ***,the Gamma approximation property is used to calculate the miss detection rate and false alarm rate of the monitor *** the optimization problem to minimize the sum of the missed detection rate and the false alarm rate is *** optimal detection threshold and the minimum error detection probability are solved according to the properties of the Lambert W ***,simulation results are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Electroencephalogram(EEG) based brain-computer interfaces(BCIs) have attracted wide attention in recent years. Steady-state visual evoked potential(SSVEP) is one of the most popular BCI paradigms,which has high information transmission rate and short user calibration time. Recent research has shown that EEG-based BCIs are under the threat of adversarial examples. However, existing attack approaches are very difficult to implement in a real-world system. Considering SSVEP’s dependency on the frequency information, this paper proposes to use square wave signals as adversarial perturbations to attack SSVEP-based BCIs, which are easy to generate and apply in practice. EEG trials contaminated by the square wave perturbation can be classified into any target class specified by the attacker. Compared with previous approaches,our perturbation can be implemented much more easily. Experiments on two SSVEP datasets demonstrated the efficiency and robustness of the proposed approach in attacking two SSVEP classifiers based on canonical correlation analysis, exposing a critical security problem in SSVEP-based BCIs.

Tilt probe penetrating friction stir welding(PFSW)was an innovative technology proposed in recent years to avoid the formation of kissing bond in the root of ***,with the heat input decreasing,"S"line or zigzag line was easily introduced in the PFSW *** this study,ultrasonic enhanced tilt probe penetrating friction stir welding(U-PFSW)was developed to solve this problem and achieve improved joint mechanical *** experimental results confirmed that U-PFSW was a potent technology to completely clear the original butt surface,providing a crucial prerequisite for the achievement of highstrength *** application of ultrasonic improves the joint tensile strength and fracture elongation from 336 MPa and 4.3%to 359 MPa and 6.8%,***,the strength of stir zone was also increased from 391 MPa in PFSW to 420 MPa in *** of texture and precipitate indicated that the dynamic recrystallization(DRX)and precipitation strengthening were both enhanced by the ***-enhanced DRX enabled a complete elimination of the"S"line;the enhanced precipitation strengthening by vacancy-induced mechanism in U-PFSW was the intrinsic reason for the significantly improved mechanical properties.

Capacitive deionization(CDI)is a promising technology to satisfy the global need for fresh water,since it can be both economical and *** two-dimensional transition metal carbides/nitrides(MXenes)exhibit great characteristics for use as CDI electrode materials,their tightly spaced layered structure renders intercalation *** this study,the interlayer distance of MXenes is precisely modulated by inserting different quantity of one-dimensional bacterial fibers(BC),forming freestanding MXene/BC composite *** the studied samples,MXene/BC-33%electrode with the interlayer spacing of 15.2Åcan achieve an optimized tradeoff among various desalination performance metrics and *** salt adsorption capacity(SAC),the average salt adsorption rate(ASAR),the energy normalized adsorbed salt(ENAS),and the thermodynamic energy efficiency(TEE)of the MXene/BC-33%electrode are improved by 24%,46%,13%,and 66%respectively compared with those of pure MXene *** the insertion of BC improves the ion diffusion pathways and facilitates the intercalation kinetics,the desalination performance decreases when the insertion amount of BC exceeds 40%.This is attributed to the overlarge resistance of the composite and the resulting increased energy *** study reveals the desalination performance tradeoffs of MXene-based electrodes with different interlayer distances and also sheds light on the fundamental ion storage mechanisms of intercalation materials in a CDI desalination system.

China recently instituted a two-child policy in response to its aging population, declining workforce and demographic dividend, and the need to develop asocial economy. Additionally, women generally delay having a second child because of the overwhelming pressure in their lives. With the improvements in assisted fertility technologies in recent years, the number of elderly women attempting to bear children has increased. The quality of woman＇s eggs and a man＇s sperm declined dramatically with increasing age, leading to an increased risk of pregnancy-related complications among older women. Therefore, the types of fertility problems experienced by elderly females must be provided with considerable attention by obstetricians. This commentary article focuses on the medical problems faced by older second-child pregnant women. This work discusses their increased rates of infertility, spontaneous abortion, fetal malformation, gestational diabetes, cesarean section, placenta previa, postpartum hemorrhage, postpartum depression, and hypertensive disorders, which complicate pregnancy.

Transfer learning(TL) has been widely used in electroencephalogram(EEG)-based braincomputer interfaces(BCIs) for reducing calibration efforts. However, backdoor attacks could be introduced through TL. In such attacks, an attacker embeds a backdoor with a specific pattern into the machine learning model. As a result, the model will misclassify a test sample with the backdoor trigger into a prespecified class while still maintaining good performance on benign samples. Accordingly, this study explores backdoor attacks in the TL of EEG-based BCIs, where source-domain data are poisoned by a backdoor trigger and then used in TL. We propose several active poisoning approaches to select source-domain samples, which are most effective in embedding the backdoor pattern, to improve the attack success rate and efficiency. Experiments on four EEG datasets and three deep learning models demonstrate the effectiveness of the approaches. To our knowledge, this is the first study about backdoor attacks on TL models in EEG-based BCIs. It exposes a serious security risk in BCIs, which should be immediately addressed.
