Association of psychological stress with wives’hypertension across over 10 million Chinese married female population aged 20-49 years

Background:Psychological stress has been reported to be a potential risk factor for hypertension among females,but it remains unclear whether spousal chronic stress levels alter the risk of hypertension among *** examined the associations between stress within the family and hypertension among married ***:Reproductive-aged women who were planning for pregnancy and their husbands were recruited from the National Free Pre-pregnancy Checkup Projects(NFPCP)across 31 provinces in China in 2016 and *** stress of wives or husbands was measured with a 5-point Likert-type scale,and assessed from three domains:work/life-related stress,economic stress,and overall ***-adjusted logistic regression models were used to assess the associations between stress status and the prevalence of ***:Of 10,027,644 couples,261,098(2.60%)women had *** results showed that higher stress levels among themselves or their husbands were associated with a higher prevalence of hypertension in women(P_(for trend)<0.001).Compared with non-stressed participants,female participants with the highest stress themselves were at a greater risk of hypertension,with adjusted odds ratio(OR)of 1.31(95%confidence interval[CI]:1.25-1.37);and compared with participants whose husbands had no stress,those whose husbands had the highest stress level were at a higher risk of hypertension with adjusted OR of 1.24(95%CI:1.20-1.29).Moreover,compared with non-stressed status for both couples,only-wife-stressed,only-husband-stressed,and both-stressed couples were found to be significantly associated with increased risks of wives’hypertension,with adjusted ORs of 1.28(95%CI:1.25-1.31),1.19(95%CI:1.17-1.21),and 1.28(95%CI:1.26-1.31),***:Moderate to severe stress in both spouses might be associated with female hypertension prevalence,which highlights the importance of paying attention to the psychological stresses of couples within the f

Differences in Precipitation and Related Wind Dynamics and Moisture and Heat Features in Separate Areas of the South China Sea before and after Summer Monsoon Onset

Using surface and balloon-sounding measurements, satellite retrievals, and ERA5 reanalysis during 2011–20, this study compares the precipitation and related wind dynamics, moisture and heat features in different areas of the South China Sea(SCS) before and after SCS summer monsoon onset(SCSSMO). The rainy sea around Dongsha(hereafter simply referred to as Dongsha) near the north coast, and the rainless sea around Xisha(hereafter simply referred to as Xisha) in the western SCS, are selected as two typical research subregions. It is found that Dongsha, rather than Xisha, has an earlier and greater increase in precipitation after SCSSMO under the combined effect of strong low-level southwesterly winds, coastal terrain blocking and lifting, and northern cold air. When the 950-h Pa southwesterly winds enhance and advance northward, accompanied by strengthened moisture flux, there is a strong convergence of wind and moisture in Dongsha due to a sudden deceleration and rear-end collision of wind by coastal terrain blocking. Moist and warm advection over Dongsha enhances early and deepens up to 200 h Pa in association with the strengthened upward motion after SCSSMO, thereby providing ample moisture and heat to form strong precipitation. However, when the 950-h Pa southwesterly winds weaken and retreat southward, Xisha is located in a wind-break area where strong convergence and upward motion centers move in. The vertical moistening and heating by advection in Xisha enhance later and appear far weaker compared to that in Dongsha, consistent with later and weaker precipitation.

Helium Exhaust under Enhanced Confinement in Tokamak

Helium studies are considered separately from those of other impurities because helium plays a particular role in present Tokamak discharge experiment and in future D-T fusion reaction. First of all, helium glow discharge cleaning (He-GDC) is adopted as a routine technique in most of current Tokamak devices. This technique is more effective in removing oxygen from wall material surfaces and in depleting the hydrogen absorbed in the wall/limiter. After He-GDC helium as residual gas stays in the vacuum vessel and will continue to affect plasma discharge. The Impurity Cleaning Experiments on HL-1M Tokamak

The glow discharge cleaning(GDC) is widely used for the fusion devices such as JT-60U, JET and TFTR at present. The HL-1M Tokamak has a single shell of the vacuum chamber liner made of 00Cr18Ni10Ti and graphite. 6％ of the interior wall is covered by the graphite. 为揭示白化茶树品种(系)的遗传多样性,利用简化基因组测序技术(2b-restriction site-associated DNA,2b-RAD)对23份茶树种质(20份白化,3份常绿对照)进行测序,分析其遗传多样性、亲缘关系和群体结构。结果表明,共获得576 193 750条高质量测序数据和56 498个高质量SNPs。系统发育树和主成分分析表明,23份种质可分为3个类群,类群Ⅰ为1份来自贵州的大叶种,类群Ⅱ包含来自贵州的地方种质6份,类群Ⅲ包含来自浙江的14份种质和来自安徽、福建的2份种质。基于系统发育树,3个类群的遗传多样性参数均表现为:类群Ⅰ>类群Ⅱ>类群Ⅲ,类群Ⅰ和类群Ⅱ、类群Ⅲ之间分别呈现中、高度的遗传分化水平。综上所述,白化茶树品种(系)存在中、高度的遗传分化,不同地理来源的种质间遗传分化更大,为白化茶树种质鉴定、资源利用和育种等提供了理论依据。
