Copper slag assisted coke reduction of phosphogypsum for sulphur dioxide preparation

Enhanced memristor performance via coupling effect of oxygen vaca.cy and ferroelectric polarization

Improved Segmented Belief Propagation List Decoding for Polar Codes with Bit-Flipping

Belief propagation list(BPL) decoding for polar codes has attracted more attention due to its inherent parallel nature. However, a large gap still exists with CRC-aided SCL(ca.SCL) *** this work, an improved segmented belief propagation list decoding based on bit flipping(SBPL-BF) is proposed. On the one hand, the proposed algorithm makes use of the cooperative characteristic in BPL decoding such that the codeword is decoded in different BP decoders. Based on this characteristic, the unreliable bits for flipping could be split into multiple subblocks and could be flipped in different decoders simultaneously. On the other hand, a more flexible and effective processing strategy for the priori information of the unfrozen bits that do not need to be flipped is designed to improve the decoding convergence. In addition, this is the first proposal in BPL decoding which jointly optimizes the bit flipping of the information bits and the code bits. In particular, for bit flipping of the code bits, a H-matrix aided bit-flipping algorithm is designed to enhance the accuracy in identifying erroneous code bits. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm significa.tly improves the errorcorrection performance of BPL decoding for medium and long codes. It is more than 0.25 d B better than the state-of-the-art BPL decoding at a block error rate(BLER) of 10^(-5), and outperforms ca.SCL decoding in the low signal-to-noise(SNR) region for(1024, 0.5)polar codes.

YOLOV5s object detection based on Sim SPPF hybrid pooling

Aiming at the problem of low surface defect detection accuracy of industrial products, an object detection method based on simplified spatial pyramid pooling fast(Sim SPPF) hybrid pooling improved you only look once version 5s(YOLOV5s) model is proposed. The algorithm introduces channel attention(ca. module, simplified SPPF feature vector pyramid and efficient intersection over union(EIOu) loss function. Feature vector pyramids fuse high-dimensional and low-dimensional features, which makes semantic information richer. The ca.mechanism performs maximum pooling and average pooling operations on the feature map. Hybrid pooling comprehensively improves detection computing efficiency and accurate deployment ability. The results show that the improved YOLOV5s model is better than the original YOLOV5s model. The average test accuracy(mAP) ca. reach 91.8%, which ca. be increased by 17.4%, and the detection speed ca. reach 108 FPS, which ca. be increased by 18 FPS. The improved model is practica.le, and the overall performance is better than other conventional models.

Modifying effects and mechanisms of superfine stainless wires on microstructures and mechanica. properties of ultra-high performance seawater sea-sand concrete

ultra-high-performance seawater sea-sand concrete（uHPSSC） presents a prospective solution to address the natural resource shortage in marine infrastructure construction. To eliminate the corrosion risk of steel fibers and broaden the applica.ility of uHPSSC, this study investigates the mechanica. properties and free chloride ion content as well as microstructures of uHPSSC reinforced with superfine stainless wires（SSWs） under natural curing. The results indica.e that 1.5% SSWs ca. remarkably improve the flexural strength and toughness of uHPSSC by 127% and 1724%, respectively, and mitigate the long-term strength degradation of uHPSSC. The strong interfacial bond between SSW and uHPSSC improves the compactness of uHPSSC, thus reducing the growth space for ca.OH）2crystals and swelling hydration products generated by sulfate and magnesium ions. This ca. be supported by the observed reduction in the ca.Si ratio of C–S–H gels, CH crystal orientation index, and ***, through mechanisms such as pull-out, rupture, overlapping network, and internal anchor interface, SSWs effectively prevent microcrack growth and propagation, transforming single long-connected microcracks into multiple-emission microcracks centered on SSW. Additionally, the free chloride ion content of the composites at 28 and 180 d meets the ACI 318-19 standard requirements for concrete exposed to seawater. This compliance is attributed to the chloride immobilization facilitated by Friedel's salt and C–S–H gels within the interfaces around SSWs and sea-sand. Consequently, SSWs-reinforced uHPSSC exhibits considerable potential for applica.ions in sustainable marine infrastructures, demanding long-term mechanica. properties and high durability.

Nano-effect enhanced cooperative luminescence of Yb^(3+) clusters in bulk materials

In order to improve the multi-ion cooperative transition, we proposed and exploited a novel nanosca.e effect, namely the nanoshell effect in bulk materials. Based on the effect, an optimal material structure was designed by coating the surfaces of ca.F_(2):Yb^(3+)micron size particles with ZrO_(2). An about 2 times higher intensity of cooperative luminescence is observed upon laser excitation at 980 nm. Dynamica. analysis exhibits that the novel effect plays a key role in improving the performance of cooperative transitions. Our results also suggest that the nanoshell effect in bulk materials is likely to be significa.t in some special ca.es, which have not been reported yet in the literature.

Deep deca.cifica.ion of factory-provided freezing acidolysis solution to achieveα-high-strength gypsum

The freezing acidolysis solution of the nitric acid-phosphate fertilizer process has a high ca.cium content,which makes it difficult to produce fine phosphate and high water-soluble phosphate fertilizer ***,based on the potential crystallization principle of ca.cium sulfate in NH_(4)NO_(3)-H_(3)PO_(4)-H_(2)O,the deep deca.cifica.ion(*** removal)technology to achieveα-high-strength gypsum originated from freezing acidolysis-solutions has been firstly proposed and ***,ca.cium ca. be removed from the factory-provided freezing acidolysis-solution by neutralizing it with ammonia,followed by the addition of ammonium sulfate *** a result,the formation of ca.cium sulfate in the reaction system undergoes the nucleation and growth of ca.O_(4)·2H_(2)O(DH),as well as its dissolution and crystallization into short columnarα-ca.O_(4)·0.5H_(2)O(α-HH).Remarkably,with the molar ratio of SO_(4)^(2-)/ca.(2+)at 1.8,the degree of neutralization(NH_(3)/HNO_(3) molar ratio)at 1.7,the reaction temperature of 94℃,and the reaction time of 300 min,the deca.cifica.ion rate ca. reach 86.89%,of which the high-strengthα-ca.O_(4)·0.5H_(2)O(α-HH)will be ***,the deep deca.cifica.ion product meets the standards for the production of fine phosphates and highly water-soluble phosphate ***,the 2 h flexural strength ofα-HH is 5.3 MPa and the dry compressive strength is 36.8 MPa,which is up to the standard of commercialα-HH.

Abundance and sources of particulate polycyclic aromatic hydroca.bons and aromatic acids at an urban site in central China

We conducted a simultaneous field study of PM_(2.5)-bound particulate polycyclic aromatic hydroca.bons(PAHs)and aromatic acids(AAs)in a polluted city Zhengzhou to explore the concentration,sources and potential conversion pathways between PAHs and AAs in different *** average concentrations of PM_(2.5),28PAHs and 8AAs during the sampling period were 77μg/m^(3),75 ng/m^(3),and 283 ng/m^(3),*** concentration of both28PAHs and 8AAs were highest in winter and lowest in summer with ratios of 6.3 and 2.3,*** with 5-7 rings were the main components of PAHs(52%),followed by 4rings PAHs(30%)and 2-3 rings PAHs(18%).According to the source appointment results obtained by positive matrix factorization,the main sources of PAHs were combustion and vehicle emissions,which account for 37%and 34%,respectively.8AAs were divided into three groups,including four benzene dica.boxylic acids(B2ca.),three benzene trica.boxylic acids(B3ca.)and one benzene tetraca.boxylic acid(B4ca..And interspecies correlation analysis with PM_(2.5)source markers were used to investigate potential *** acid(o-Ph)was the most abundant specie of 8AAs(157 ng/m^(3),55%of 8AAs),which was well correlated with ***,B3ca. and B4ca.were highly correlated with sulfate and weakly correlated with levoglucosan,suggesting that secondary formation was their main *** logica. oxidation products of PAHs,o-Ph and B3ca. showed good correlations with a number of PAHs,indica.ing possible photochemica. oxidation pathway by *** addition,O_(3),NO_(2),temperature and relative humidity have positive effects on the secondary formation of B3ca..
