The cryptomelane-type manganese oxide (OMS-2)-supported Co (x Co/OMS-2;x=5,10,and15 wt.%) catalysts were prepared via a pre-incorporation *** as-prepared materials were used as catalysts for catalytic oxidation of toluene (2000 ppmV).Physical and chemical properties of the catalysts were measured using the X-ray diffraction (XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic (FT-IR),scanning electron microscopic (SEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS),and hydrogen temperature-programmed reduction (H_(2)-TPR)*** all of the catalysts,10Co/OMS-2 performed the best,with the T90%,specific reaction rate at 245℃,and turnover frequency at 245℃ (TOFCo) being 245℃,1.23×10^(-3)moltoluene/(gcat·sec),and 11.58×10^(-3)sec-1for toluene oxidation at a space velocity of 60,000mL/(g·hr),*** excellent catalytic performance of 10Co/OMS-2 were due to more oxygen vacancies,enhanced redox ability and oxygen mobility,and strong synergistic effect between Co species and OMS-2 ***,in the presence of poisoning gases CO_(2),SO_(2)or NH_(3),the activity of 10Co/OMS-2 decreased for the carbonate,sulfate and ammonia species covered the active sites and oxygen vacancies,*** the activation treatment,the catalytic activity was partly *** good low-temperature reducibility of 10Co/OMS-2 could also facilitate the redox process accompanied by the consecutive electron transfer between the adsorbed O_(2)and the cobalt or manganese *** the oxidation process of toluene,the benzoic and aldehydic intermediates werefirst generated,which were further oxidized to the benzoate intermediate that were eventually converted into H_(2)O and CO_(2).

In this work,we developed a simple strategy to synthesize a carbon material with high nitrogen and rich carbon *** approach polymerized diaminopyridine(DAP) and ammonium persulfate(APS).Following a range of different temperature pyrolysis approaches,the resulting rough surface was shown to exhibit edge defects due to N-doping on graphite carbon.A series of catalysts were evaluated using a variety of characterization techniques and tested for catalytic *** catalytic performance of the N-doped carbon material enhanced alongside an increment in carbon *** NC-800 catalyst exhibited outstanding catalytic activity and stability in acetylene hydrochlorination(C_(2) H_(2) GHSV=30 h^(-1),at 220℃,the acetylene conversion rate was 98%),with its stability reaching up to 450 *** to NC-800 having a nitrogen content of up to 13.46%,it had the largest specific surface area and a high defect amount,as well as strong C_(2) H_(2) and HCl ***-800 has excellent catalytic activity and stability to reflect its unlimited potential as a carbon material.

The octahedral molecular sieve(OMS-2)-supported Fe( xFe/OMS-2: x = 1, 3, 5, and 10) catalysts were prepared using the pre-incorporation method. Physicochemical properties of the as-synthesized materials were characterized by means of various techniques, and their catalytic activities for CO, ethyl acetate, and toluene oxidation were evaluated. Among all of the samples, performed the best, with the reaction temperature required to achieve 90% conversion( T 90%) being 160 ℃ for CO oxidation, 210 ℃ for ethyl acetate oxidation, and 285 ℃ for toluene oxidation. Such a good catalytic performance of 5Fe/OMS-2 was associated with its high(Mn^(3+) + Mn^(2+)) content and adsorbed oxygen species concentration, and good lowtemperature reducibility and lattice oxygen mobility as well as strong interaction between Fe and OMS-2. In addition, catalytic mechanisms of the oxidation of three pollutants over the 5Fe/OMS-2 catalyst were also studied. It was found that CO, ethyl acetate or toluene was first adsorbed, then the related intermediates were formed, and finally the formed intermediates were completely converted into CO_(2) and H_(2)O.

In order to study the variation of brake torque,vibration,pressure fluctuation,exterior noise and internal flow for a hydraulic retarder with different inclination angles and liquid-filled amount,a bench-scale hydraulic retarder was *** INV3020 data collection system was used for the synchronous acquisition of brake torque,vibration,pressure fluctuation and exterior noise *** were performed with different inclination angles(90°and 75°)and six liquid-filled amount(50 vol%,60 vol%,70 vol%,80 vol%,90vol%and 100 vol%).The torque-volume ratio was proposed to accurately analyze the influence of inclination angle on the liquid volume in stator and rotor and the brake *** multiphase flow model was employed to capture the volume and velocity *** research shows that the brake performance improves and the vibration increases with the decrease of inclination angle and the increase of liquid-filled *** pressure fluctuation increases as the liquid-filled amount increases,while the lower inclination angle effectively lowers the pressure fluctuation *** sound pressure level trends upward with increasing liquid-filled amount,and the lower inclination angle can effectively reduce the *** volume distribution of the liquid phase under different liquid-filled amount is basically *** lower inclination angle can induce more vortexes.

The classic metallic Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar(SHPB)cannot capture the transmitted signal accurately when measuring soft biological tissue,because of the very low wave impedance and strength of this *** the dynamic compressive response of porcine muscle has been investigated by using a modified *** forces on both ends of the sample measured using Polyvinylidene fluor(PVDF)transducers were applied to calculate the stress in the specimen instead of the strain gauge signal on the transmitted ***,a circular cardboard disk pulse shaper was applied for generating a suitable incident pulse to achieve stress equilibrium and constant strain rates in the ***,the dynamic mechanical properties of porcine muscle parallel and perpendicular to the fiber directions were measured,and the stress equilibrium process during loading was analyzed,as well as the inertia-induced extra stress being ***,quasi-static tests were conducted at two different strain rates to investigate the strain rate dependence using a universal material testing *** results show that the stress-strain curves are sensitive to strain rate in the two different loading *** compressive stress perpendicular to the fiber direction is stiffer than that parallel to the fiber *** addition,a strain rate-dependent constitutive model was developed based on the mechanical response of the muscle at different strain rates and fitted to the experimental *** results show that the overall fit is good,and the constitutive model could describe the muscle's dynamic mechanical properties.

To understand the contribution of new particle formation(NPF)events to ambient fine particle pollution,measurements of particle size distributions,trace gases and meteorological conditions,were conducted at a suburban site(NJU)from October to December 2016 and at an industrial site(NUIST)from September to November 2015 in *** to the temporal evolution of the particle size distributions,three types NPF events were observed:typical NPF(Type A),moderate NPF events(Type B)and strong NPF(Type C)*** favorable conditions for Type A events included low relative humidity,low concentration of pre-existing particles,and high solar *** favorable conditions of Type B events were similar to Type A,except for a higher concentration of pre-existing *** C events were more likely to happen with the higher relative humidity,lower solar radiation and continuous growth of pre-existing particle *** formation rate of 3 nm(J3)was the lowest for Type A events and highest for Type C *** contrast,the growth rates of 10 nm and 40 nm particles were the highest for Type A,and lowest for Type *** show that NPF events with only higher J3 would lead to the accumulation of nucleation mode *** acid was important for the formation of particles but had little effect on the growth of particle size.

In the process of two-pass micro plasma arc welding of titanium alloy sheet,based on the thermal contact resistance theory,a three-dimensional transient heat transfer finite element model of contact heat transfer between titanium alloy sheet and flexible fixture was *** effects of contact upper surface temperature,micro-contact thermal resistance,micro-gap thermal resistance,DC and pulse welding on thermal contact resistance were investigated,and the simulation and experimental results were *** results show that the thermal contact resistance increases as the temperature increases when the temperature of the contact upper surface (titanium alloy sheet) is in the range of 290-350 *** effect of micro-contact thermal resistance on the thermal contact resistance is 26.1%-46.3% larger than the micro-gap thermal *** thermal contact resistance of pulse welding is 3.1%-3.5% larger than DC *** error of simulation and experimental results of weld pool depth is 8.6%,which verifies the reliability of the model.
