To adopt horizontal wells in dual media reservoirs, a good understanding of the related fluid flows is necessary. Most of the recent studies focus on dual porosity media instead of dual permeability media. In this article, through both integral transformation and sink-source superposition, a new Laplace-domain solution is obtained for the slightly-compressible fluid flow in the 3-D dual-permeability media in which the horizontal well is operating in a constant rate of production. Major asymptotic characteristics of diagnosis curves of dimensionless downhole pressure are analyzed by the limited analysis. Effects of parameters of dual-permeability media including mobility ratio k, storativity ratio ω and inter-porosity flow parameter k on the downhote pressure are studied by using the Laplace numerical inversion. The new solution obtained in this article includes and improves the previous results and then can be used as a basis for either pressure transient analysis or formation behavior evaluation for the typical reservoir with horizontal wells.

Power efficiency(PE)at high brightness is considered as the rigorous standard of high-quality white organic light-emitting diodes(WOLEDs),for which the host material plays a significant role in energy conservation for practical lighting ***,PE is successfully enhanced to a new level through the method ofπ-stacked host molecular with spirofluorene *** design host materials by confining two donor units in a very short distance to enlarge theπ-electron spatial delocalization for facilitating the hole hopping process and engaging a rigid donor as the space-lock to suppress the quenching effect as well as induce host bipolar *** on this unique molecular design,the red,green,and blue(RGB)monochromic organic lightemitting diodes(OLEDs)demonstrate high external quantum efficiencies(EQEs)of 28.4%,26.0%,and 31.2%with ultralow roll-off,*** encouragingly,the warm WOLEDs achieve record-high current efficiency(CE)of 109.5 cd A^(-1),PE of 109.1 lm W^(-1),and EQE of 32.9%.Even under operating brightness of 1,000 cd m^(-2),the devices can still realize 94.7 lm W^(-1)of PE,which represents the highest applicable PE value in the reported WOLEDs and for the first time single-host based WOLEDs with a performance exceeding that of a conventional fluorescent tube(70 lm W^(-1))without any light-extraction technique.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of manual acupuncture on endometrial blood flow parameters by three-dimensional(3D) power Doppler ultrasound in women undergoing in vitro fertilization embryo transfer(IVF-ET). Methods: Seventy patients undergoing IVF-ET were equally randomized into traditional or sham acupuncture treatment group for totally 4 days(from the day of oocyte aspiration to the day of embryo transfer) of treatment by random envelope method at the Reproductive Medicine Center and Outpatient Department of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medicine College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology from January 2013 to December 2015. Patients in the traditional acupuncture group accepted traditional acupuncture methods with manual acupuncture, and Zhongji(CV3), Qihai(CV 6), Sanyinjiao(SP6), Taichong(LR 3), Tianshu(ST 25), Guilai(ST 29) and Zusanli(ST 36) were chosen. Patients at the sham acupuncture group accepted shallow acupuncture methods at 4 non-meridian points at each shoulder and upper arm. Outcome measures included endometrial ultrasonic indices such as vascularization index(VI), flow index(FI) and vascularization flow index(VFI), endometrial thickness and volume, subendometrial VI(sVI), subendometrial FI(sFI), subendometrial VFI(sVFI), implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate, abortion rate, live birth rate and number of live births. Results: Finally, 34 patients in the traditional acupuncture group and 35 in the sham acupuncture group completed this trial. VI, FI and VFI of the traditional acupuncture group were significantly higher than those in the sham acupuncture group(P0.05). Aluminum is an attractive alternative fuel,but it burns very inefficiently due to the formation of a dense Al_(2)O_(3)layer which prevents O_(2)from diffusion to the surface of Al *** previous experiments,the combustion of millimeter-sized Al(mAl)particles in the fluidized bed has achieved a substantial increase in the combustion efficiency,but further improvements are still *** this study,the effects of reaction atmosphere on the fluidized combustion of mAl particles were *** experiments with different O_(2)/H_(2)O/CO_(2)concentrations were *** experimental results indicate that the combustion efficiency of mAl particles in fluidized bed increases as the mole fraction of O_(2),H_(2)O or CO_(2)increases,and the highest combustion efficiency can reach 38.7%.After the analysis of the oxide film on the surface of aluminum particles,it was found that it is easier to generate the unstableθ-Al_(2)O_(3)under CO_(2)atmosphere,and it is easier to generate the unstableγ-Al_(2)O_(3)andθ-Al_(2)O_(3)under H_(2)O *** unstable Al_(2)O_(3)film is more likely to be abraded in the fluidized bed,which leads to the effective improvement of the combustion efficiency.

Genomic rearrangements play a crucial role in shaping biological phenotypic diversity and driving species *** chromosome rearrangement and modification by LoxP-mediated evolution(SCRaMbLE)has been applied to explore large-scale genomic rearrangements,yet it has been observed that these rearrangements occur exclusively in genomic regions containing loxPsym ***,we found that SCRaMbLE of synthetic yeast harboring synthetic chromosome V and X can generate a variety of synthetic segment insertions into wild-type chromosomes,ranging from 1 to 300 ***,it was revealed that the novel insertions impacted the transcriptional level of neighboring regions and affected the production of exemplar pathway of ***,our results improve the understanding of the ability of SCRaMbLE to generate complex structural variations in nonsynthetic regions and provide a potential model to explore genomic transposable events.

Manganese cobaltite(MnCo_(2)_(4))is a promising electrode material because of its attractive redox chemistry and excellent charge storage *** previous work demonstrated that the octahedrally-coordinated Mn are prone to react with the hydroxyl ions in alkaline electrolyte upon electrochemical cycling and separates on the surface of spinel to reconstruct into d-MnO_(2) nanosheets irreversibly,thus results in a change of the reaction mechanism with Kþion ***,the low capacity has greatly limited its practical ***,we found that the tetrahedrally-coordinated Co_(2) þions were leached when MnCo_(2)_(4) was equilibrated in 1 mol L^(-1) HCl solution,leading to the formation of layered CoOOH on MnCo_(2)_(4) surface which is originated from the covalency competition induced selective breakage of the CoT–O bond in CoT–O–CoO and subsequent rearrangement of free Co_(6) *** as-formed CoOOH is stable upon cycling in alkaline electrolyte,exhibits conversion reaction mechanism with facile proton diffusion and is free of massive structural evolution,thus enables utilization of the bulk electrode material and realizes enhanced speciﬁc capacity as well as facilitated charge transfer and ion *** general,our work not only offers a feasible approach to deliberate modiﬁcation of MnCo_(2)_(4)'s surface structure,but also provides an in-depth understanding of its charge storage mechanism,which enables rational design of the spinel oxides with promising charge storage properties.
